Delish! Homemade apple sausage and the corn beef hash Benny were great, plus perfectly crispy hash browns. And attentive service, always checking in for a coffee top off. Highly recommend.

Great food. Attentive and courteous staff. Family Restaurant/Breakfast Spot feeling. Fair pricing. Decent portions. The Hash is not from the can! I can't really ask for more.

Always enjoy eating here. There was about a 10 minute wait, but the food is worth it. Our server was very polite and knowledgeable, but forgot one of our items. The cashier was quick to remove the item from our bill. Wont stop us from returning or telling others about the wonderful food!

Very cool diner style place with an extensive menu and great service! My companions had a fantastic bison burger and bison melt, and French onion soup. My blt was great and loaded with bacon! Thank you!

My wife and i went in to have breakfast today. The food was fabulous as always. Service was beyond what i could ever say. Colleen was our waitress. What a Rockstar. As we was sitting there a homeless man came in and sat behind us. I could hear him counting his change and trying to figure out what he could get to eat. We bought his breakfast. We will never let anyone be hungry. Colleen treated him as any other customer. Didn't judge, didn't act any different, didnt think twice about doing her job. Steve's is one of the greatest places in Helena to eat. Would and will always recommend as the best place to eat.

Great food!! Denver omelet was differently made but very delicious. It had large chunks of ham. Huckleberry pancakes were yummy. We had a large group that came in and they worked us in on separate tables. They made our bills work as we had kids sitting at their own table. Very nice and friendly staff. Great place to eat.

Great experience. Waitress was very nice, food was tasty, and we didn’t have to wait very long. I enjoy eating here. Their huckleberry options are a treat. One of the best places in Helena to get breakfast.

Great food, decent atmosphere. They really cram together the tables so there is not much elbow room. We came for breakfast everyone enjoyed their food.

Great gluten free breakfast options! I had the gf huckleberry waffle with huckleberry syrup (& bacon of course). It was one of the best waffles I’ve ever had, even before I had to go gluten free!

Porter waited on us and was utterly amazing.
The food however was really freaking good too.... 10/10 would show up again, AND recommend this place to my friends.

Nice quick lunch. Busy but fast friendly service. Had a small one egg, 2 bacon, hash browns with a toast. Just right for a quick breakfast

Excellent food, like I haven't had breakfast this good since I was at mom's house....I may have been slightly biased back then as well! Stop in and try it, you won't be let down!

The food was good and the portions were adequate. Our waitress (Cheri) was very polite and attentive. Will Be back again. ate here again on July of 22 and not such a good experience this time. They were busy but we waited for our food for a good 30 min. A bit much. Then my toast came out burnt. I don't know why it was even brought out to my table. It should've of been thrown away and re done. 2-225-24. My husband had eggs over medium and they were as runny as the eggs over easy which could have a little more sustenance. Otherwise as usual, the food and service was really good. And we enjoy coming here every week if possible.

Steve’s is one of my favorite restaurants in Helena. I’ve been patronizing them for years, and I have never been disappointed.

Food is fresh, flavorful and cooked to perfection (overcooked egg Benedict is a pet peeve of mine). Generous portions. Their homemade corned beef is particularly tasty, as well as their homemade sausages. Breakfast or lunch fare, sweet or savory, you can’t go wrong and it’s always delicious.

Also, the restaurant is spotless. There’s no such a thing as a sticky sauce bottle, or a dusty spot.

Service is always top notch. Our waiter today was Dan, who already waited on us several times. He is very helpful, with a touch of humor, perfectly wrapping up an already stellar experience. The rest of the staff, waiters/waitresses and hosts/hostesses are all equally lovely.

This is a very good mom and pop dinner. Cute and friendly. I had their Ruben and it was delicious. Their homemade sausages were good too. I preferred the chipotle and Italian over the chicken apple one. I would love to come back and get their meatball sandwich when I get a chance!!

Went to Steve’s for the first time yesterday! I have celiac’s disease and so a new restaurant is always a gamble, but their gluten free menu is amazing! Not to mention they serve gluten free, house made pancakes/waffles made from Bob’s Redmill.

I got the short stack huckleberry pancakes w/ bacon and eggs (boy did I miss huckleberries) that comes with 4 pieces of huge bacon, 2 eggs, and 2 pancakes for $13….The pancakes are the size of a dinner plate and there was no “gf” charge! I could only finish one. And had to take home the bacon & eggs, and the 2nd pancake.

Simply amazing and, most importantly, I have had no cross contamination issues so far. Highly recommend if you are gluten free and/or have celiac. I haven’t tried the lunch menu, but they do offer gf buns.

Irish Benedict is outstanding. Been here several times. Everything is very good! Always great service too.

99% sure I’m reviewing the correct location. We had good food and even better service. I enjoyed my California Benedict and Huckleberry pancake!
