Auntie Arwen's Spices

I have been using Auntie Arwen’s spices for cooking for over 10 years now. They make your meal pop!! But recently I had a horrible respiratory infection. I used their “Plague Recovery” tea and it helped the breathing so much!!! I highly recommend anything they sell!

What a cute little shop! Clean, decorated with an upscale fantasy esthetic, and filled with a treasure trove of all kinds of spices, teas, herbs, and even skincare. The kids of the neighborhood love the cheap honeysticks, hard candies, and sugar rock-candy. It's a well run small business that some may recognize from the different fairs in the area. I highly recommend checking them out.

A delightful, small family owned operation; I have been purchasing all of my spices from Auntie Arwen's for about 8 years now. Their spices and spice/herb mixes are absolutely the best, and at extremely reasonable prices. I'd recommend them over many of the other larger brand name spice companies out there. If you have your own idea for a mix even, send it in to them! They'll create it for you using the freshest and highest quality of materials. Absolutely wonderful people.

Just put Arwen's "Moroccan Style Harissa" blend on breaded, fried calamari and added some cayenne and parsley cause I love the bite. Honestly the best dry rub fried calamari I've ever had.

I met Auntie Arwen's at their extensive Mutton and Mead (Amherst, MA) Renaissance Faire tent and have been a loyal follower ever since. Great options for anyone who likes flavor - they carefully label anything spicy so you know what you're getting into, and the breadth of their spice and herb options is amazing. The prices are outstanding for the quality and volume you receive. The 110ml glass jars they sell many of their blends in are beautiful and ship well. I have used Auntie Arwen for gifts for myself and the foodies in my life for the last 3 years!

Got to try some spices I picked up at NJRF and they are absolutely wonderful. Sweet Onion Harmony will now be a staple in my kitchen , So happy I can order online

We adore the aunties and their spices. It's kicked my cooking up a notch and their tea selection is fantastic. Jewett City got a gem of a place with their retail location.

Went to the last CT ren Faire and got a bunch of products. I used to live in Jewett city so I'm sad I had to move right before you set up shop there. I use everything religiously (much to my girlfriends dismay) because of the bold flavors. Looking forward to stopping in next time I'm out in Jewett city!

Tried your spices after a marketing event they had in Waterbury CT last year. After regretfully getting to the bottom of my spices bottle, I'm going to their store for the first time to get some more. They have master blends that pleases my discerning palate.

I love their teas, salts, and spices. I'm so glad they are so close by for all my seasoning needs. They are also always so sweet and fun to talk with.

Super friendly staff and quality spices

So excited to find a dairy free hot chocolate mix at the Renaissance faire booth. It is a little gritty when you get to the last drop. Really good mixed with coffee, good with warm milk, only ok mixed with hot water. Just my opinion. Overall I would buy this product again. And hopefully will see them again at another Faire so I can try other products too 😎
