New Balance

It was my first visit to the new balance factory store in White Plains. I hadn’t changed the model of my new balance sneaker in over 30 years. I have back issues and heel pain and I’m 71 years old now. I find I need more support and a bit more comfort as I age. A friend recommended this store, because of her complete satisfaction when dealing with them.

My sales person’s name was Jacob. He took all of the time and care of my feet that I required, and then some. He fit me with an excellent new model sneaker, and even a new orthotic inner sole. He measured my feet and also took a 3-D scan of them to be sure he chose the correct sneaker. I left the establishment a very happy and satisfied, Customer!

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable Manager. She knew exactly the type of New Balance sneaker that would fit my hard to fit feet. I was so happy that I bought two pairs. I can’t stress enough how helpful she was!!!

I've got to say I had a great outcome and experience at this store. One specific gentleman helped me and my kids the entire time. If I am correct his name was Daniel, he was tall with leg tattoos. The second I arrived he greeted me with a smile and was very patient with me and my kids. There is no better feeling then great customer service after a long day of back to school shopping with my kids. He was tentative, and let me take my time browsing throughout the store. Employees like this create a great atmosphere for customers, and I am very pleased and I thank him for his patience and great customer service. I am a satisfied customer and will be back for more shoes in the future!

Jordan was great and helpful. From the moment I walked in, staff made eye contact to scope out if I needed anything. My visit was very informative and I got the perfect shoes. I also got some Insoles for my new shoes to add to making me comfortable as I use my new babies. Love these and would recommend for anyone with plantar fasciitis.

This was my second time purchasing from the store And once again, I was not disappointed. Thank you Suzanne for your unending patience! I love my new sneakers!

ASK FOR SUZANNE! My daughter and I were shopping across the road at DSW. I mentioned to her a few times that a New Balance store was across the road and we should take a look. Of course, the teenager declined. Of course, after not being satisfied with the selection she opted for the run across the road. I'M SO GLAD WE DID. We enetered the store was looked at and not acknowledged by a male sales representative, who really doesn't matter. I felt after a quick browse of the store we were not going to receive customer service worthy of our time and money. Boys and girls I was incredibly wrong. Out from the back, I assume she was, as she was not on the sales floor upon our arrival, appears the GREAT SUZANNE. Her greeting, her patience, her time, her knowledge, her energy is all I'd like to share. She measured my daughters feet and was on the move. She wasted no time in asking the right questions and providing several selections based upon the answers given. My daughter was able to have her "footing" corrected with the assistance of Suzanne. My daughter made her choice. I had no intention of making any purchases, however, the service and knowledge that Suzanne provided for my daughter, I decided I wanted a pair of shoes also. Suzanne measured, asked questions and was on the move to provide that wonderful experience again. Amidst our light banter and trying on my selections Suzanne learned something about my daughter and was so happy for her. She went above and beyond her customer service for New Balance and she made a phone call and was able to provide my daughter with some valuable information. I found the shoe I wanted, but, the store did not have my size, sadly. I WILL BE BACK BECAUSE OF SUZANNE! Did I forget to mention the sneakers that my daughter chose are everything and more where comfort is desired...

Cody at the Terrytown New Balance location has phenomenal customer service. He was willing to help with no problems and a smile. It was a delight being helped by Cody. He has alot of patience and very customer friendly! He is definitely an asset to the company!

Chris helped us find shoes to work with my toddler son’s orthotics. He was so helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent customer service!

Really nice and organized store. Daniel was welcoming the second I walked in and was very helpful from trying on shoes to ordering the pair I wanted to be shipped in. Highly recommend going in when looking for new shoes or just to talk to Daniel about how running’s going for him!

Jacob provided excellent service. He measured both my feet with a digital scanner. He provided me with support active cushion insoles to better support feet. I have a high arched foot. Thanks 🙏 so much!!

I was on a mission to find and buy New Balance sneakers, also find a person who will listen to what I-needed because of my health needs, looking for comfort, posture, and support. After reading the reviews on this particular store, a friend drove me up. Wow I-had high expectations! Scott immediately took care of me, he listened, ask questions, very knowledgeable of health conditions, measured for right size and analyzed both feet affected by osteoarthritis conditions. Scott went above and beyond my expectations, leaving satisfied with my purchased. I recommend this particular store and the staff, Scott I’m thankful for your skills and expertise. Gracias!

Today I worked with Jacob. I needed to buy sneakers for medical reasons. I found him to be attentive to answering all my questions. When there was some difficulty in obtaining the same model as I had previously purchased, he spent extra time working with me to get my needs met. I think he is a model employee and New Balance should be pleased to have him working as an associate--Gregg Modell

Awesome experience at new balance today with Daniel and Cody helping me. Beautiful store. Can’t believe I haven’t visited sooner. Highly recommend. We are lucky to have this in our neighborhood.

I’ve been a long time customer of the New Balance store on Tarrytown Road and recently I needed to replace my tennis shoes. My wife suggested I buy my shoes on the internet but I’ve always appreciated the care and professional assistance I’ve gotten from the great team at New Balance. When I entered the store, within seconds, Chris asked me if I was being helped and within another minute or two he had brought out two pairs of sneakers that fit perfectly! While I was in the store I noticed that in addition to their great selection of sports clothing, they also specialized in assisting folks who needed additional help getting the right footwear due to their prescriptions from their podiatrists. You can’t get that kind of personal care from a click on your computer! Chris, who is just on of the professional members of the staff was knowledgeable and I left feeling grateful for his expertise! In addition, I thought the price of my new shoes was reasonably priced and possibly less expensive than what’s available on the internet!

I brought my grandmother here because she needed a major footwear upgrade. Her sneakers are simply insufficient for her needs as she is 84 years old and needs a pair of light shoes with good support. I had an idea of a few models I wanted her to try on when we got there. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful though we didn’t want to bother them and I began lacing the shoes we requested. Jorgjiano (Jorge) stopped in his tracks to help us and I explained that we were leaving to Europe for a multi-city adventure in a few days. He was extremely professional and attentive, and much faster at lacing the sneakers than myself or my girlfriend. He checked the sneakers on my grandmother’s feet as she tried on the 993 and the 990v6, and he made sure they were the perfect fit. Jorge asked her to walk around a bit to get a feel for each pair. After he very sweetly asked her in Spanish which one she preferred, she chose the 993s for the stability and support. He laced her up so she could walk out with her fresh pair and we were soon on our way. It was a fantastic experience and we will be regular customers in the future. We’re very excited to see what the store will look like after the remodel. The staff alone are all the reason to shop here, but the selection was great and will only get better with the remodel. Outstanding customer service, in-store & over the phone. I went in looking for information and Jacob was outstanding. From providing me information about the sneakers, to helping decide what is best for my particular & unusual circumstances (I have two VERY different sized feet). He was knowledgable about the NB line of products & was able to articulate why the products he was recommending would be good for me specifically. Even when pressed, he was calm and delivered great customer service. I called the store a couple days later to ask follow up questions and he was outstanding. He remembered every aspect of what we discussed in store. Great customer service and as someone new to the NB brand, his customer service was the primary reason for deciding to buy from NB. Excellent customer service. Took my mom to get some sneakers that were recommended to her and we had great service. Her feet were measured and she was able to try the shoes to ensure they fit perfectly. Everyone is very friendly. I highly recommend this location.
