Food Lion

To answer the previous post about the meat man, they never had a meat man other than the gentleman who grinds the beef. The other meat comes in prepackaged. There isn’t a bandsaw, for example, but the variety in the boxes yields a nice case in my opinion. I’ve always been able to find great meat here.

When no one else in town was taking birthday cake orders, Lilly the cake decorator came through and made my daughter a beautiful custom cake with her picture on it. We absolutely loved it. Thanks again, Lilly!

I love Food Lion. It always usually has BOGOs. The lady at the deli counter (I was there for a cake for Father's Day) was so professional and courteous!! They will open up extra cashier lines if there are a lot of people in line, too. Their meat is fresh, and their employees are usually very courteous as well. They keep their buggies stocked up so you don't have to go looking for one, too. I can't say enough good things about Food Lion...especially the one off of Pamplico Hwy here in Florence, SC. I will try to come back and post a pic of the cake when it's ready.

Okay...so here's the cake. KEEP IN MIND IT SAT IN A HOT CAR FOR APROX 45 MIN TO AN HOUR BEFORE THIS PIC WAS TAKEN. I ordered from a book, and it came out great for $19.99. I ordered yellow cake and the whipped icing. Let me tell you. It was so freaking delicious!!! I went back, and we got a cake to take home to eat bc I left him his. I WILL DEFINITELY be going back for my cakes. It beats Freedmans any day of the week and is way cheaper. Also, the white looking spots, especially in the middle of the cake, were from the reflection of the lighting in the dining room. They did a WONDERFUL job!!! My Dad was so happy and surprised at how good his cake looked. I think it made him feel special. And he is!!! Thank you to Food Lion on Pamplico Hwy for that cake!! Thank you to the lady who took my order. She was beyond helpful and very professional!!!! She deserves a raise!!

The lady that works the pickup is super fast and accurate. Substitutions are legit and the chat is very responsive

Food lion is a bit higher then other stores. They did have everything i needed and check out was easier and flawless... I got some cookies for my co-worker's.. They love em..

Friendly customer service. Great sushi, deli and bakery. Lots a variety beyond normal groceries in the deli area.

This location on Palmetto Hwy is clean and well stocked. A young man stocking the shelves asked if I needed help. I was able to fine all of my items. Sales items were in stock. The checkout line had nearly no wait time. The cashier was polite and greeted me when I approached the register.
Plenty of shopping carts were available.

Clean, always has the best produce, fresh sushi, good prices, online pickup orders, self checkout.

Consistent low prices. Many items priced comparable to my membership big box store.

Great experience. They had a good sale on the coke products so I went in for that and came out with a couple of T-bone steaks for 7.99/lb. Grilled them last night and they were so tender and tasted great! Check out was fast and I didn't have to lift all the sodas out of the cart because the cashier came around and scanned them. No complaints!

I come to this store quite often because of it having FujiSan, a takeout Sushi bar inside of it. The sushi is made fresh daily and it’s literally the best sushi I’ve ever eaten, and when I say I’ve eaten a lot of sushi, I’m not kidding. I’m not exaggerating. I’ve had sushi at some extremely expensive restaurants and they simply don’t compare to the FujiSan Sushi! It’s so delicious! Hands down, FujiSan Sushi is levels above and amazingly better than any other Sushi I’ve ever had! If you enjoy Sushi, you should most definitely get some. You’ll be extremely glad you did!

Great deals throughout the month through the app. The additional earnings and available coupons are great. Prices are very comparable to most other stores in the area. Meat market is very helpful if you want/need something cut specially.

Loved the cleanliness of the store. It was bright and inviting! I also loved the variety of items. Only disappointed I didn't see turkey sausage, but I could have overlooked it or they could have sold out.

The store is very clean the staff is the best.When I walk in the store I am greeted I am always asked if I found everything I needed.If I look for an item and can’t locate it someone is always willing to be helpful.The cashiers are courteous and fast.The temperature of the meats are frozen foods are great.All produce are neatly displayed.The store is very well lit on Palmetto St.Over all my shopping in Food Lion is pleasant and pleasing.

Awesome store! Awesome employees! Awesome everything! I love this store! The store is kept very clean. The the people are very nice, helpful, friendly, and overall wonderful. They hire only the best. They have more lines open than walmart and they go out of the way to make you feel welcome. They are like the grocery store version of chick-fil-a.

Food Lion is a great place to shop. Stores are always clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Some items are a little bit more than the Walmart but I would rather give my money to Food Lion than have it go to Bentonville, Arkansas. Just sayin'.
