The Boardgamery gives options in Granite that are not abundant elsewhere. It's nice to sit here, have a cup of coffee, browse the games, or step next door and browse the books and vinyl they have available there. If you're looking for something with a little more sustenance, downtown Diner is really a flashback to the past. Great diner food, quick and easy service as well.

Awesome new place that you must see in town for a game night with the family, it’s in downtown part of Granite City directly next door to the Garden Gate Tea Room, and directly next to the City Hall in a Very up and coming part of town where you can park and take pictures at the picture wall (Black Painted side of building- with angel wings, butterfly wings, and balloons and so much more to take Selfies with on the side of the building at the huge Selfie Wall!

It’s truly a blessing and nice corner of the town for a night in town with the kids or entertaining friends or family in from out of town, so that you don’t have to go to far; nor out of town!!

Lovely place for a cup of coffee and reading a book or playing a board game with friends!

Very cool place! Great selection of games for all ages. They serve hot dogs and nachos in addition to cereal, ice cream, coffee (with legit espresso), and a great candy selection (including Zagnut and other harder to find varieties). Heard it from a friend their pumpkin spice lattes are better than Starbucks...

My friends and I had a great time! The staff was awesome and were very cool about accommodating our group! The coffee and ice cream is great - not to mention all the neat old school candy! We had a blast playing games! We will definitely be back!

I haven't been to a place quite like this. This by far has been a unique and fun experience for me and my family. Awesome vibes, games, food & drink menu. Do you need a new spot to get away for awhile? Defiantly check this place out!! You will really love the atmosphere the minute you walk in.

Friendly staff introduce the novel concept (aptly named) of a Coffee shop that encourages, provides for, and teaches the playing of board games. The atmosphere is unique and this business joins a growing local community offering simple and nostalgic fun.

It's so wonderful having the Garden Gate Tea Room back. The food is excellent as always with new wonderful items added to the menu. Such a great gift and destination for Granite!

This place is tons of fun, great prices, friendly staff, and all around good time. You can play the board games, have cereal, coffee, ice cream or other drinks or go next door to the book store for books, records, CD's, candy, T-shirts and more. You can even play Super Nintendo.

I love this place. The concept is awesome, the coffee is great, and it's a wonderful place to go for the whole family. There are hours of fun to be had here.
