This is the greatest market in all of Salt Lake City. Bring your own bag. Buy the best of products at the cheapest prices. You’re gonna love it. There’s something bad coming in and grabbing it by yourself and taking it without the single use packaging. What a dream. What a delight. Jamaica is the truth. Come by sometime and get some stuff.

This store is amazing. If you are interested in bulk items at fantastic prices and saving the environment, then this is the store for you. Bring your own containers (or buy them there!) and fill up on rice, beans, sugar, flour, gluten-free flour, tea, honey, spices, household cleaning solutions, laundry detergent, body care products, and more. You pay by the weight, so grab as much as you need. This is such a cool idea and I fully support this. Spread the word and help them grow!

I like the option to refill your stuff. I usually fill up on laundry detergent and shampoo. I just wish this place had more locations.

This was our first time coming to the market, we didn’t really know what to expect or what type of containers to bring, but they had a few free containers available and for purchase as well so that was helpful! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a small store but they had a wide variety of products ranging from laundry, skincare, baking, spices, and food options. They also take precautions to avoid cross contamination between customers and food products. We can’t wait to come back!

Hello Bulk Markets is a great place to shop for groceries and feel good about getting quality products and helping to avoid the massive waste of disposable containers. Plus, the service is always great.

Salt Lake City is lucky to have a store like this! Bulk stores with grocery, body, and cleaning supplies all in one are super rare. When you support Hello!Bulk you support a local business and the environment AND on top of that the ingredients are high quality. There are items I will never again buy at a regular grocery store like spices, noodles, dried mango, and even their plain rice is delicious. They sell a ton of local products too! The owner is incredibly nice and makes you feel like her favorite customer. All of the employees are wonderful and helpful! We love Hello!Bulk!!!

We love this store and the option it provides to shop plastic free! We buy all our bulk dried goods here, as well as some cleaning products and fresh food. The owner and employees are super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is great.

This store is the best thing, from hand soap to soy sauce to powder laundry detergent, I try to get as much as I can in bulk!

Awesome store for sustainable, waste-free food and goods. I don't live close enough to make it my regular grocery store, but I get there about once a month to stock up on basics and refill my toiletries. It's a process to transition to this style of shopping and it can be more expensive to be this mindful about your purchases, but it's worth it if you can do it (for yourself, the earth, and the local economy). The employees are always very friendly, don't judge where you might be on your sustainability journey, patiently answer all your questions without making you feel stupid, and help you learn the ropes of this unique shopping experience. They're a champion for local makers and it shows that they really care about our community and making it a better place. I also really appreciate their commitment to keeping shoppers and employees safe amidst Covid.

Such a lovely little zero waste shop! You can bring your own containers and tare them there and then just go wild on all the things!
So many spices, but also grains, sweets, coffee, soaps, diy cosmetic ingredients etc..
And other cute containers.
Super nice customer service too.

I’ve been trying to live a more sustainable lifestyle and this store wa a game changer! Salt lake needs more sustainable lifestyle options and I love that this place exists. I no longer have to feel bad about buying single use plastics for cleaning supplies, toiletries, hand soap, etc. and it’s such a great price too!

The BEST PLACE for people that care about the environment. You can buy TONS of groceries, lotions, soaps and cosmetics without the waste of plastic! Please go support this wonderful shop!!!

Entering this store was my first experience at a bulk foods store. I loved it the second I was welcomed and someone explained to me how everything worked.
You walk in with your own containers, measure the weight of each one, then go get the foods, spices, cleaners, lotions or many other options they have available in store that you want. When you're done, you check yourself out and feel good about not contributing to the global waste epidemic.

This is a really great, convenient location and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Check it out!

I absolutely adore this place. It is everything you could ask or spice wise and with general household needs. I love that you can fill your own containers and the weight of those containers are subtracted to get an accurate reading on price! That isn't common, but its fantastic. Also everyone I have spoken to who works there is super friendly and helpful. It's really nice to see what type of random local stuff is in there too. I loved the vegan custard!

I’ve been a Hello!Bulk customer since the early days! The owner is a passionate and kind leader in our community. She hires wonderful staff and stocks quality products. I’ve drastically reduced my packaging waste consumption and cancelled my Costco members 2 years ago thanks to this business!!

This place is great! It's a smaller store but they have so many good items all without plastic. I was able to get a lot of bathroom items here.

I’m so so grateful for this store! You can tell that the owner and staff have really worked hard to put together a store dedicated to the conscientious and alternative options required to start making a difference. The store offers so much, including local options which is really important. They also update the product list daily or close to daily so you know exactly what they have on hand. I read the negative reviews (there are very, very few) and they were written by people who seemed to have expected an experience by coming to this store. The store is as large as it needs to be. It’s odd that people expect a certain atmosphere while grocery shopping. What’s important is that the owner worked really hard and continues to do so in order to help better our world by providing sustainable alternatives that help reduce the incredible amount of waste we produce. If you follow the Instagram page you can kind of get an idea for how much work goes into a project like this and it’s highly respectable. The staff have been really friendly and helpful every time I’ve visited and is always spotless 👌🏼 In addition, they’re also staying open during the quarantine and filling your orders for you! A++++
Anyways, check the place out! It’s so worth it.

Not only does this store have great values and great items, but I believe they’re fairly priced. The kombucha is a favorite of mine and the bulk bathroom items. Jamaica (the owner) is adorable, helpful, interactive, and is half of the experience. I am definitely coming back and will refer all my friends. Great way to have less waste :)
*also I suggest bringing your own containers. There are reasonably priced ones there but you always have extra stuff laying around (I used an old jam jar today for lotion and it worked perfectly).

Hands-down my favorite SLC business. The store itself makes it so easy to go single-use packaging-free. And the owner Jamaica is just so wonderful. She supports other local, environmentally-friendly businesses and makes everyone feel welcome in her store. Seriously, there is no need to think twice about trying the Hello Bulk shopping experience. Clean out some old jars (or, if you don't have anything to reuse, there are reusable containers available for purchase), and head on over. If you need help figuring out weighing and taring, a friendly staff member is there for you!
