Newly Edited Review 3.0. Things have gone from Bad, to Better to Amazing. I ordered a sweet shirt online. It shipped out in 1 day, and arrived in 2 days. It also came with a bonus $52 shirt from free and a nice note. These guys seem to really have got their house in order and I can now Highly Recomend.

OK, Edited Review. I ordered 3 things. Only 1 came and they never responded to my repeated emails. After I opened an Inquiry w my credit card company, the other 2 items magically shipped ASAP. I am amending my review from 1 to 3 stars. I hope that future orders are shipped without me having to take action...

I have been a follower of Chris and Union for many years, so was excited to visit the brick and mortar store with my daughter during our vacation.
My expectations were high, and they were exceeded.
The service was on point. We were treated like rock stars. Nothing was too much trouble, we were free to try, size, explore and encouraged to take our time.
There was an excellent selection of brands, we both copped pieces we feel are highlights of our LA visit, in fact we visited the store twice during our vacation, and once again, were made to feel welcomed and special.
Highly recommend you don’t miss this iconic LA brand’s store. They have evolved and upgraded and I for one approve.

I've ordered from Union a few times now. They aren't always easy to get a hold of but if you stay persistent you will eventually speak with someone. You gotta keep in mind these guys get tons of orders from all over and are a relatively small team.

I made a mistake on my online order and picked the wrong size for one of my items, I sent an email and called only to get voicemail on my first few attempts.

Then I called later in the evening and a very nice girl picked up the phone, heard me out, and very efficiently helped to fix my order. Within 20 minutes after hanging up with her I got a response from orders@union saying they were pulling my order with the correct size eventhough the invoice would state differently and that it would be shipped out next day with a tracking email sent.

Considering the items I bought stated very clearly at the bottom in big bold letters that there would be "no returns or EXCHANGES" I am very grateful to that girl for doing what she did! If you are reading this, thank you again!

Ordered a jumper from here, took a few days to ship it, tried to send an email asking how long shipping would be but no response. After that I read the reviews on here and started to worry. Thankfully it was delivered 9 days after I’d placed the order (I live in Australia) so I can’t say anything that bad about this place apart from the lack of communication that didn’t really effect me anyway

No idea why this place has so many negative reviews... It's really a great store! Been here several times and purchased both in-store and online. Staff was helpful and answered tons of questions for us, even though we were only making a small purchase. Online purchase was a great experience: shipped very quickly (received in 1 business day!) and everything was packed securely. Lots of unique brands, cool spot, and (in my experience) friendly & helpful staff. A "can't miss" spot!

Union LA keeps the heat. I order online and never have had an issue. If you’re up on the world today then you gotta know Union is a staple in the streetwear legacy. Don’t sleep, sta woke. Also hit for the Taupe 4s and these are my Grails. Thank you Union LA! 🙏🏼 If u kno u kno.

Pete and Ryan went out of their to help me track down what I thought was a fraudulent credit card charge at Union when, in actuality, my fiance made the charge on-line and neither of us recognized it.

Pete called me back when he said he would and was totally cool about the situation.

The charge was legit yet I put them through the wringer taking their time to help what turned out to be a non-item (we're sorry, Pete, we are SO embarrassed!).

If they are this good on the phone, they must be amazing guys in person!

If you want customer service, shop at Nordstrom. Union serves a niche market, like a record shop or comic book store, and isn't for the casual customer looking for a comfortable pair of sneakers. You have to remember that on a daily basis casual browsers criticize and complain -- "$500 for a shirt!? What a rip-off!" (I used to work at a specialty boutique myself, and you can find similar reviews on Yelp! bemoaning our "hipster" staff.) If you had a bad experience at Union, you were likely being a jack-ass. You wouldn't visit a person's home for the first time and immediately start criticizing their furniture. The staff is passionate about design, they work there because they're into it, and often they are active or are pursuing a career in the industry.

If you don't like this stuff, fine, but Union is not "retail" per se, it's an entirely different model. Staff tends to give you some space; their clientele doesn't want you to open a dressing room the moment you pick up a coat, and they tend to know the designers Union carries and know what they're looking for. Streetwear is community and regulars interact with staff more as peers than as salespeople; I'd find it alienating if they approached me as a traditional salesperson would. When I do have questions or need help, Union has been terrific, they've spent a long time with me on the phone to let me know when and whether a specific $34 t-shirt would arrive in-store. It wasn't a big sale, but they get it, so they were willing to spend the time helping me out, telling me when shipments arrive, providing details about the company in question (Paradise). I have a number of similar examples. The designers they carry have followings and people for whom style is personal are willing to pay a premium for, say Visvim, which they'd have had to travel to Japan to find before Union began carrying it.

If you think that's silly, you don't have to shop there! And id youu're interested in checking Union out and you don't really get the role streetwear thing, don't make a fuss about the price tag of certain garments -- its judgmental and consecding to do so -- apply a little ettiqute and be respectful to the staff, and they will likely be polite in return.

Visited the shop today. Small collection (which is good for me, easier to choose) and very friendly staff!

Got the Union x Jordan 4 Guava 2 years ago. Wish more companies organized drops as well as this one does.

Came here a VERY long time ago before they opened the Bape store on Melrose as they had Billionaire Boys Club/Ice Cream for sale here. They had all the BBC/IC on sale and had some great clothes and the guys helped me out and we're cool, but this was 6+ years ago so I'm sure alot has changed. Never been back but might some day.
