This is 400 sqft boutique of wine selections all are labeled with descriptions or the owners will do their expertised Q&A to assure the your personal pairing exceeds your expectation. This was right on for the social medium bodied and red fruit evening social sip needed.

I was so glad to see Corner Wine still here after I had been away for 10 years. This place got me to appreciate wine when I never would have on my own. The owner seems to really know his wine. If you're new to wine, you can tell him what you want to have it with or what flavors you like and he can make solid recommendations. And if you know your wine, he can get you what you want faster, no doubt. And the variety is really impressive for small corner store.

I've been buying wine at Corner Wine since it opened in...2009? Time sure does fly when you're having fun. Usually I have a pretty good idea of what I want, but if I ever have questions, Gary does a great job answering them. He's never steered me wrong. Most recently, he suggested a Spanish white he thought I would like (because he gets to know his customers), and I have to say, he nailed it. It was lovely and delicious.

Also, you can't beat the prices at Corner Wine. Gary's been buying wine for years and years, and it shows. He knows good wine and sells it at good prices. As the French would say, "il y a un bon rapport qualité / prix !"

Gary and Corner Wine are also incredibly helpful in choosing the perfect wines for events. I love the carefully chosen selection of wines and knowledge and enthusiasm they have about each bottle. Such an awesome local shop!

Best place to buy wine in Lexington by far. Not only does Gary (the store owner) have an expansive selection of wines but, he knows his stuff too. Go in to the store with a dinner plan and he'll have a wine to match it. Go into the store with a party plan and he'll have the cases of wine to match it. Don't let the small shop fool you, it only further enables him to offer you the best wine for the best price in town.

Every trip is a pleasure. I start looking forward to going to Corner Wine several days before I actually show up. Gary Doernberg is the most knowledgeable, interesting wine seller I've ever known. He buys carefully and sells at fantastic prices. Feel free to walk in and buy with no conversation - or ask questions and get a wine education. I treasure Gary and Corner Wine.

I loved this place when I lived in the neighborhood. The owner is very helpful and friendly, and he really knows his products. The focus is on inexpensive wine, so selection is small, but you can find some great stuff for a good price.
Also, he has the best price you'll find anywhere on a bottle of Buffalo Trace (at least he did last time I was there)!

I bring everyone here. Gary is a jocular character and a connoisseur of great inexpensive wine. This place is one of the cornerstones of Chevy Chase and perhaps more than anywhere else epitomizes the neighborhood's essence. Favorites are the Borsao Garnacha and the cava they keep chilled in the back but you can't go wrong and you can't beat their prices and quality. It's a great feeling when shopping local is also cheaper and better than the corporate alternative. I love this place and its crew.

This place is a gem. It has an amazing selection of wine in a small space. The simple three to five word description make it easy to pick wine. Everyone that works there is wonderful and eager to help. Check it out for picking up a bottle or a case.

This is the best wine store in Lexington. No one knows more about their inventory or what you might like. Friendliest staff of all businesses in the area.
