Goodfellas Pizzeria - Distillery

This place is the main spot for a bite in the Kentucky Distillery District and is the center of hubbub, especially at night. The line can definitely go out the door!

The staff at the front register and who are hard at work baking pizzas are super helpful, kind and attentive. I’ve gotten a lovely compliment from one of them when I was ordering, which really brightened up my day!

My fiancé took me here, and the pizza was delicious. I got the Pepperoni, he got the cheese, and we both got garlic butter to dip with. Not to mention, the pizza slices are quite large (one was more than enough for me!). We also got two bread sticks with marinara sauce to split.

The venue itself is pretty spectacular. It is built into an old distillery, so the old pipes and history of the structure are prominent. They also have a nice bar with multiple TVs to watch games. A great spot for delicious pizza in a historic atmosphere!

Parking is pretty rough ngl but that’s just goes for the distillery district, not goodfellas specifically.

I brought my parents here while they are visiting Lexington, KY. I told my parents that this place was one of my favorite places in Lexington. Both parents are impressed with this place, especially my dad, who liked the outdoor patio area's ambiance to enjoy great meals that matched the excellent weather. He noted that I chose a great spot for lunch today :)

I loved all the pizzas and desserts from Goodfellas, and I highly recommend this place to whoever is visiting Lexington. This place is a good spot for great pizza and vibe.

Came here to see what all the Buzz was about. One bite everyone knows the rules...... verdict... Awesome!!! Great pizza. Awesome atmosphere. 7.7 wasn't a high enough score. Highly recommend.

Love Goodfellas! The variety of pizza options is fantastic. Every time you go there will be different pizza options. There is always some unique options as well as the more traditional options. They always have premade options or you can order from the menu. We get the lunch special which includes a slice, a side, and a drink. It is a great deal and absolutely delicious. Their bread sticks are about a foot long and I love their garlic butter. They also have an amazing outside area with a view of a stream. I love the industrial feel of the restaurant.

I'm not sure what the issue is with all the bad reviews. My wife & I went to visit today, we were extremely satisfied with the pizza & the customer service. Everybody that works at this establishment was extremely nice & helpful. The person behind the counter asked us if it was our first time visiting & provided us with a menu & advice on what to try. The pizza was good. The crust held up, it had a good crunch & it wasn't greasy. I'm glad that we didn't listen to the bad reviews. Next time that we're in Lexington, we will definitely check them out again.

Probably the best pizza in Lexington. The service was great and the food was delicious. I wish I lived closer because there's so many items I want to try. The atmosphere is too cool being in an old industrial factory. Oh, and the breadsticks are HUGE and tasty.

Sitting in or out? The outside was great musics and fun. The bar inside was entertaining. The staff really made the inside a big difference. Having a tasty custom drink made to go with the meat pie was awesome. The food was good but the tomato sauce was sweet and didn’t do the pie justice. All in all a great time for any day.

We came here all the way from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and this is by far the best pizza I've had in 20 years. We will definitely be back for more.

Pizza slices are huge, and mine was delicious. Bread sticks are also very good. Atmosphere is fun; it's in an old distillery. The place is packed on Friday night; the line was out the door.

Great concept. Pizza was delicious. Great selection of whiskey/bourbon. Prices a bit steep but a good place to try some unicorns. Outside seating and fun and lively atmosphere.

So, the best thing about this place was the atmosphere. My companions and I went there around 11pm the other night, and it was a lovely night with the mild temperature already, but I saw they had a little fire pit that was lit, and people sitting around laughing and enjoying their food... inside, the video screen that showed the various options of food, let me tell you, it all sounded good and delicious. It was very mellow, and a wide open space that made me want to sign up immediately for work haha. We will definitely be going back! Also, the slices of the pizza we got were huge and delicious!

Pizza was EXCELLENT! The slices are big and the pizzas are good sizes (I know there was a 16 inch - as photoed - and a 22 inch, there was a smaller size, but I don't remember it). The cheese was gooey and stringy, just like you see in the commercials. It was very flavourful, I will definitely be returning. The atmosphere was laid back and the employees were super friendly and seemed like they were enjoying themselves. I don't have a single negative comment about this place, I already want to go back for more!

We sat at the bar and at first were overlooked by 2 behind the bar. John came over and quickly asked what we wanted. He was so nice, got my drink right away and he chatted with several of us in the area. He had a smile and kept checking on everything. Pizza was delicious as usual. Thank you John for making the experience a great one!!!

Visited here while traveling and searching for a place with great pizza. We initially were confused by the navigation doing us in the wrong spot but we figured it out and loved the vibe of the area. Food was quite good, we tried most of the pizza options with glowing opinions all around. The bar was amazingly well stocked, I tried the godfather and was impressed by how labor intensive it was, from smoking the drink, chiseling ice off a real block and the care given the garnishes I was very pleased. The patio area wasn't open yet but it caught the attention of our group. Definitely worth a visit.

We had a great lunch with a HUGE pizza and it was delicious! The bartender was super knowledgeable and friendly and made delicious drinks. He helped us pick a great bottle of bourbon to take home..He was very quick and was taking great care of everyone. I highly recommend 👌

Loved the bacon/pepperoni and pesto pizza. Garlic butter dipping sauce is great with the bread sticks!

Bar inside makes STRONG drinks so be weary 😜.

Great atmosphere on a Saturday night. Bar staff was quick and very helpful. We had our food in about 35 minutes, which was quicker than expected. Good spot for some good pizza and cold beer.
