Sales crew for the archery department were very helpful setting up my grandsons compound bow and giving him shooting tips. Let him come in and use the archery range and twerked more for him. His son is pretty darn good now. They set him up with a bow he grow with and they will adjust it as he does. Prices was reasonable also.

Great store! A huge inventory of everything you need for salmon fishing. Also had a great website. Ordered some prespooled reels with upgraded drags for a great price.

Went in to get help with restringing a couple of old recurve bows. The guys in the archery department were knowledgable and fast.

Captain Lucky Chuck was an excellent guide. My son (9) and I went bay fishing with him, and I asked him to make sure my son caught most of the fish. Not only did he catch most of the fish, we caught a giant flounder, a keeper red, a keeper spec, and a ton of other fish that although they weren’t keepers, fun to catch. Even caught a blow fish.

Chuck is even keeled, doesn’t curse, and is great with kids. Give him a call!

This is a very well stocked fishing shop as well as a a good selection of bow hunting supplies ( I don't bow hunt, but it looked pretty well stocked in my opinion).

A great place to source a replacement reel for the one I broke previously.

They even included spooling the reel with new line with the purchase.

They have a very big supply of fishing lures, sinkers and hooks.

A very clean and new building.

Be aware, there is someone who works there that has severe allergies. They ask that you do not bring inside your dog if it isn't absolutely needed.

My husband and I have been fishing up and down the coast of the Great Lakes for many years. Hands down the best hunting and fishing store. Genuine, friendly staff; always happy to help. If you have never been to Captain Chucks in Ludington, you need to get there.

Visited to purchase a first bow for my son. We are both pretty inexperienced, but despite that and them being pretty busy for the holidays, they were very patient gave us as much time as needed. At no point did we feel rushed. I think google needs to show them on maps for archery - the store is probably 65-75% fishing but they have a good inventory of bows and supplies and a couple of knowledgable, friendly guys working the archery side.

Stopped to get my fishing license. They have anything you will need for local fishing. New building, very roomy, well organized.
