House of Flavors Restaurant

Ludington is a beautiful, quaint little town on Lake Michigan and just a couple blocks from the lighthouse we found this wonderful little 50’s style diner with great food and wonderful homemade ice cream. We both enjoyed delicious Hot Beef Sandwiches. For desert I had the most heavenly Turtle Sundae he had Butter Pecan ice cream, I apologize I have forgotten their clever name for it. His go to is butter pecan and said it was one of the best. Our server was positively delightful and very helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the 50’s vibe including the great music from that era. It is definitely a place worth returning to.

What an awesome place!
We stopped for breakfast and had to return for an afternoon ice cream.
Breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. The strawberry jam is local and available for purchase. It's probably the best jam we've ever had.
The ice cream was refreshing and tasty. We enjoyed hearing about the Guinness World Record for the longest ice cream dessert.
House of Flavors was walkable from the beach.

Good food, fast and friendly services.

Blue Moon ice cream is so good!

The food was great. I ordered hot turkey sandwich with mash potatoes.
Our waitress was excellent she was on top of it even though it was super busy.
I guess it's mostly known for their ice cream cause the have a huge variety.
Their home made strawberry jam is super yummy.

The restaurant is a great choice for breakfast or lunch. Service was good and food tasted great. My only complaint is how little room is available between the tables. It can be difficult to navigate around the restaurant.

Great diner food. Our table had the Turkey Rueben, Turkey Biscuit w/Gravy sandwich, Chicken Tenders and Onion Rings. The Turkey was perfect, flavorful and tender. Onion Rings were crispy. The cole slaw was good, but hard to tell if made in house. Ice cream was obviously awesome. Love Superman. Definitely worth a visit.

What a fun place! We had an excellent lunch, great service, and the yummiest of desserts!

Such a fun place to eat! Turkey is GREAT!!!!!!!! Ice cream is the best ever and there's a lot of competition up here with ice cream. Favorite--- MICHIGAN POT HOLE--- a chocolate lovers dream! Turkey asparagus wrap YUMMY----ANYTHING HERE WITH TURKEY IS DELICIOUS!

Awesome gem in Ludington! Neat atmosphere and loved the records on the ceiling in the room we sat in. Tried the Monte Cristo sandwich and while I would not get it again it was such a unique dish I was glad I tried something completely different than usual. Looking forward to coming back later for ice cream! Loved the history of the place too!

The kitchen sink burger was amazing. Our waiter was super attentive and polite. Ice cream is so delicious.

Let me start off with the atmosphere of this place, they have tons of decorations and little things that make it feel like your in a 80s restaurant. Also there food is spectacular, they have everything from breakfast till 2pm and dinners and lunches, they also have a extravagant arrangement of ice cream flavors and sundaes!! Definitely coming here again!!

All time best breakfast place! I’ve been here multiple times, and have never been disappointed! I always get the corned beef hash, eggs, and pancakes! Love the bottomless coffee! The coffee is very good quality. Honestly, there prices are really low for all the good food you get! It’s about 7 dollars for a huge plate of food + coffee. Fast service, and didn’t even have to wait for a table during the breakfast rush.

We usually come here for breakfast, but have gotten ice cream before. All there different ice cream flavors look so good! We’ve had the Tod and Brad Reed sundae before and absolutely loved it. The ice cream is also pretty reasonable priced.

My sister and I had supper here during our overnight stay in Ludington. We were immediately seated and greeted by our waitress, who was friendly and attentive. Our order: Monte Waffle Cristo, hot turkey sandwich with bacon/cheese/lettuce/tomato/mayo + chips, and we shared a potato topper - cheese/bacon/sour cream over french fries. Food arrived in ten minutes, was hot, full of flavor, and filling. We ended up leaving with two shakes to-go (Raspberry Rendezvous and Cookies and Cream in place of Tennessee Toffee which was sold out) -- these were great as well. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I went here and the ice cream was delicious! The service was great. Our waitress came back to check on us plenty. We loved the vibe. Lots of retro stuff to look at and they play old music in the bathrooms. My girlfriend got the flight of ice cream that had 5 flavors for $10 and I had the little Piggy and that was 2 scoops, 2 toppings a banana whipped cream and a cherry on top. $7.99 I believe. It came in a little wooden trough and also came with a cute pin. We will definitely be returning when we're in town. I would recommend The house of flavors to anyone. Lots of diffoptions to choose from and they also have food if you're hungry. 10/10 from me.

American food and ice cream shop. Everyone enjoyed their food. The ice cream menu labeled the ice cream that was gluten free and there were several options. Nothing labeled as GF on the food menu. I enjoyed the strawberry cheesecake ice cream.

Food menu is simple with lots of family favorites to choose from such as wraps, salads and sandwiches. I went with their chicken and waffle plate which was delicious, perfect combination of salty and sweet. No room for homemade ice cream this time but hoping to try it soon!

Edit: OH MY GOD. The ice cream is to die for. Yeah, get the s’mores ice cream in a waffle cone.

A cute reto 1950's style decor diner!! This is a must stop if you're in downtown Ludington!! Whether that's for breakfast, lunch, dinner or if you just want some amazing ice cream, this is the place to eat! This place fills up fast and doesn't take long for a line to start forming outside, but that's how you know it's going to be good! So be sure to stop. I got the truly two of everything for breakfast and had a turtle sundae for dessert! 😊 Was well worth it!

Consistently good food and good service. Bring your appetite since you are going to want some ice cream after your meal. House made chili, the burgers, hot dogs and everything on their breakfast menu are all highlights.

Just as my partner and I will do, it's worth a drive from the Grand Rapids area to here just for a meal and ice cream.
