Timbers Historic Bar & Grill of Ludington

This was our first time here at Timbers. The food and drinks were delicious. You definitely shouldn't leave hungry, big portion size. I had the Caprese Chicken sandwich, and upgraded to chili cheese fries. Their chili is so good. My hubs had the fish and chips. He loved it. We tried the onion rings for an appetizer. No complaints there. We also had cocktails. I had the Sparkling Carmel Apple. If you like sweet, this is for you. The Maple Bourbon Smash was good. Very citrus forward. I would have liked a little more maple. My husband liked it.
We ended our dinner with to go boxes, and a piece of Carmel Chocolate Cheesecake. We will be going back. 😋

Timbers is more than a restaurant, it is an experience! Food is made with quality ingredients, full of flavor, and aesthetically pleasing. Amazing service. Our server Tammy Y. was pleasant, graceful, and we could tell she really enjoyed her job and took pride in the restaurant and the team she worked with. She was friendly and knowledgeable and when I wanted a cocktail but could not decide, she asked the bartender to come over, we and he made me a special cocktail that is not yet on the menu. It was delicious. We had a hand crafted blackberry bourbon chocolate cake for desert that was absolutely mouthwatering.

Service was great! Chef came out to chat. Smashburger was amazing (love the dill sauce!) and the Chicken and Waffle stack was delicious. Glad to see this place back open after the fire.

Exceptional staff, good beer options and great food. Came through on vacation a while back, the staff was so welcoming! They gave great recommendations on things to do around town and at night. I unknowingly ran into one of the owners around town and he also gave great recommendations on trails to hit while in town. The fish tacos were spot on! Such a great crew they have there. It will definitely be my watering hole when in town.

Zoe & the bartender Renee were so friendly. We came in late & had drinks & burgers. Great service and cute place!

Just like another post that was written, 5 stars is not enough. 10 stars all around. The chicken waffle stack was amazing. So many different flavors. Fish tacos were beyond delicious. We brought up some close family and they took to the burger. They both could not say enough about it. In fact, and I quote, “complements to the chef.” Service was outstanding and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Loved the easy alternative vibe that went right long with the music.
No doubt we will be back. And for those who read this and are looking for a great place to dine, please Timbers Bar and Grill. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Living downtown in Ludington we eat out frequently. There are 5 local restaurants that we frequent and keep a #1 that we recommend to others. That spot is currently held by TIMBERS. Chef Gino is superb! The food is amazing and service is great. Last night we thoroughly enjoyed our fish dinners. It was all you can eat but the portions were so generous we were full before finishing those. Excellent fish, fries, coleslaw, and homemade sauces and dressing. We have tried many other of their menu items and loved each one. So pleased to have such an awesome restaurant in our small town. Keep up the good work Timbers!

My husband and I took our first trip up to Ludington from Ohio and stopped in at Timbers a little later in the evening (7/31/23). Our server was Kellee and she was great! We got the Timbers burger and it was the best burger we every had! We stopped by another day (8/03/23) and Kylee was our server and she was great too! We split the Timbers burger and a Cuban. Not to mention the fresh fries! Oh my gosh! So delicious! We have told everyone about it. Thank you for the great food and service, it made our vacation memorable!

Unique specials for a different experience every time you go. Tonight’s special was shrimp scampi and my husband said it’s the best he’s ever had. I had the Timbers Burger and the special dill sauce on it was amazing!! The Maurice sauce on the salad was fantastic too. We will definitely be regulars as I want to try everything on the menu!! Friendly wait staff and the chef came out to ask how our meals were!

My wife and I had dinner at Timbers for the first time on 9/17/23. The food, service (thank you Jada!), and outdoor seating area were all stellar. I had the Salmon Sandwich and my wife had the Fish Tacos. We are very picky eaters, and the food we were served will definitely bring us back for more. I am so grateful to the owners for staying open during "post summer Ludington". We will do our best to make it worth their while!

Sophie, Renee, and Kevin provided the best meal experience we've had in Ludington. From the greeting at the door by Sophie to our first cocktail special made by Renee to our caprese sandwich with garlic parmesan fries to our dessert of homemade chocolate mousse and nacho cinnamon dessert with carmel and ice cream, wow! What an experience. Chef Kevin made it all to perfection. We can't wait to come back. Thank you to the whole crew!

Great and unique burgers and some of the best fries we've ever had. Even the salad was apparently delicious. Also great interior and ambience, and friendly and helpful staff. A must stop in Ludington!

Last week I was in Ludington, and wanted to get something to eat before the long drive home. I found this place and thought I'd give it a shot. I was greeted very nicely by Lavelle. He was very nice and enthusiastic. Interior here is nice, and it was clean enough for my standards. Got the crab fries as an appetizer, which were phenomenal! My entree was the Spanish Octopus. That was also incredible! To get octopus as tender as they did is hard to do, and the risotto matched perfectly. And finally, the whipped cheesecake. No words needed!

First time visit to Timbers on James Street met and greeted by the manager. Just reopened and remodeled in June.
3 big TV's to watch the football game. New menu with a variety of choices. Waitress Zoey was attentive, friendly and helpful. Definitely a great experience will visit again when we return to Ludington.

This place has a great vibe, really kind staff, and EXCELLENT food. I had the fish and they were to die for. The flavours all worked so well together and everything tasted so fresh. I also had the raspberry cheesecake which was delicious as well. Highly recommend!

Wow! Great Staff and Food! My new home for watching Michigan sports and having a great meal. Best Parmesan garlic fries.

I had the Maurice salad and it was fantastic!

Our server Becky was very personal and provided many options and suggestions!

We didn't get to meet Gino the chef, but this presentation and cooking was appreciated!

The menu on the entry so you could decide what you wanted didn't do justice to what they had.
The server informed me about the specials a big difference than the menu. My meal was awesome and Zoe was fabulous.

Great am ian w, stellar service by Zoe, and chef Gino hit it out of the park with his fish tacos and garlic park fries! Best these 2 Floridians have ever had and we’ve had alot! Y’all rock!

Our waitress was very attentive, we enjoyed a nice dinner and drinks, she went put of her way to ensure we had everything we wanted and also gave us information on the area.
