The Drift Inn Hotel and Restaurant

What a spectacularly quirky spot. The Drift Inn is a collection of unique buildings. We stayed in the “Top of the World” room with an amazing view of the ocean right across the street. This suite would be perfect for a family since it has a full kitchen and two rooms. The decor is eclectic and inviting. Too tired to cook? We had great dinners and breakfast at the restaurant. The staff were friendly and ready to help with anything. Would definitely stay again, but for a longer period of time.

I booked a solo trip to Yachats for a break in the norm. I’m so glad I tried this restaurant. The service was amazing, personal & attentive. I ordered the Halibut fish & chips but subbed a salad for the fries. I also decided it was a great time for a Bloody Mary! I ate outside on the funky patio area & thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was scrumptious & I’d order the same thing again. Definitely eat here! PS: I don’t post bad reviews but I had dinner last night at a local spot that was very average, not worth the price. Not the case here!

This is a great local restaurant. We had breakfast and dinner here while in Yachts for the weekend.

We enjoyed the variety on the menu. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered.

We were there when the music started. The volume was nice. Not too loud the song selection was appropriate for the vibe of the restaurant.

Stayed at the Drift Inn hotel two times now. Each time has been a great experience. The rooms are nice and quaint. The staff is attentive to meeting any needs that come up. The location is great, in town, easy walk to the beach or a walk through town.
Have also dined at the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is yummy and staff has always been sweet.

It was great! We went to the restaurant (I recommend getting there early. The wait times can get long during the school holidays.) Great food, dishes for every pallette with gluten free and vegan options. Great service. The wait staff made my kids, my boyfriend, and I feel welcome and once seated we never had to wait long before being checked on. The Decor was awesome, too. Great little coastal place to eat and vibe. 10/10

We didn't stay at the Inn but stopped for brunch on our way passing through. The food and service is great! The patio is so cool and the food was fantastic. We got the crab cakes, waffle, and huevos ranchers, all very good and I highly recommend the crab puffs!

Stopped by for dinner and live music. Busy restaurant with a fun atmosphere. The service was good and the staff were moving fast to keep up with all the diners! The Mexican salad and oysters were great! (Big salad!) Will definitely come back!

I guess sometimes there is a wait to get in, but we were lucky. We came at 7:30 pm, no wait. Sat in their beautiful patio. It is so cozy and warm. Wooden tables, greenery, palm fans, heaters, and live music in the back ground. The owners are gluten-free, so they have a delicious blend of their own homemade breads, dressing, and tartar sauce. The best I have ever had. Their fish and chicken batter is the bomb!. We sharded the Crabs cakes, which were so very yummy. And the Hailbit fish and chips. Definitely enough for 2 to share. Comes with a little green salad. The fish was devoured! So good. They make their own desserts, so many to choose from. We went with the Rum Chocolate Moose, so velvety smooth and rich. What a wonderful birthday to me! We actually came back for lunch the next, on our way back to Washington.

Absolutely adorable spot with great food. Location in adorable Yachats cannot be beat. The “pedal out” (hostel style) rooms with shared showers/bathrooms were comfy, clean, and quiet. A steal of a deal!

The restaurant here is one of our favorites on our vacations on the Oregon coast. The atmosphere is superb, and the eclectic variety of food is outstanding. We make it a point to eat here a few times while on vacation, and it never disappoints. Being there during the music is an added treat!!!

The staff here were top notch. We recieved high communication from the manager Akia. She was courteous, kind, and very understanding throughout our visit! We will definitely be visiting again and sending our family & friends to stay here! Easy walkability to the near restaurants, who also have great staff. We didn't get the chance to visit their attached restaurant as it was always so busy, (which is a great sign for both food and service!). As a hotelier of over a decade with major brands, I will say, I will be back for years to come!

We had a really nice lunch in the restaurant. Cobb Salad with grilled chicken and ice tea. Great food, atmosphere, and service. We didn't stay in the hotel, I live right up the street.

We came here on a very busy holiday weekend, and had a 45 minute wait for a table. Thankfully there were some open bar seats!

I had the chicken romesco pasta and it was better than any Italian restaurants I've been to in the past year. We also tried a potato pizza which was surprisingly good. The Sticky Stigma was a refreshing take on a tiki drink.

Despite the large crowds the service was still fast and friendly and the food and drinks were great! Looking forward to stopping here again on my next trip along the coast.

Have not stayed at the hotel but the restaurant is great! Well prepared food and attentive service in a fun environment. The cocktails are great too!

Just had dinner there. They were slammed and our waiter was so great. I didn't get his name but he made sure I had my Spanish coffee, brought me extra bread, and he was running his @$$ off. I went to the restroom when our check came and didn't see him again but he was absolutely the best.

We LOVE Drift Inn!!!! The food and drinks are unrivaled anywhere on the OR coast. The menu is legit, all items scratch made - if it looks good, order it!!! If you’re looking for a place to have a craft cocktail, this is THE spot. The Drift Inn bartender crew’s game is tight. Shout-out to Jess, Lexi and Clara for mixing the best drinks in a 100 mile radius. Order the spicy/Smokey margarita if you’re into it…might be the best you’ve ever had. Fresh juices, house-infused spicy tequila, and Smokey mezcal. If Yachats is the “Gem Of the Oregon Coast” Drift Inn is the Crown Jewel!!!

Delicious breakfast! Lovely staff. If you’re living in Oregon and haven’t been here you need to go! We had the Dungeness crab and the Mediterranean frittata. The dog loved the patio too!

Great breakfast menu. Tried the corned beef hash, which was delicious along with a homemade biscuit. Also was lucky enough to get the best apple fritter I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend trying this place out.

Gratuity is included in the pricing. And the food is five star. Friendly staff and fast service. Our waitress checked on us several times as we dined and she already had several tables same time. Thank you Stephanie and as for my crew and I....we will eat here every time we're here working

the hotel: we had a small room with shared facilities and it was nice and clean. bed was comfortable, bathrooms clean. small kitchen, but no stove.
