This was a very nice, not too dense, campground on a slight bluff above the ocean. There are plenty of sites right on the cliff edge or others with shade just steps away. We had site 38 among the trees and there was a native orchid in full bloom. As others have mentioned, the bathrooms are plentiful and very clean, water is readily available to any site, and many sites have electricity.

Loved this campground. We had site 56 and loved it. In the trees with picnic table and fire pit secluded behind our site. Bathroom very close and beach a short walk away. No electricity or water in our site but it is available in many others. Quite but a little background highway noise. Highly recommend this campground.

Fantastic views. I hope no one reads this but also it's a shame not to spread good news!
Beautiful sandy beach for strolling & dog play.
Seals are known to be watching from the tides, taste the ocean in the morning and fall asleep to the sound of waves.
It's rad. They have clean restrooms and some pretty private campsites. Staff is so helpful too.

Great location~ just a short walk down 30 steps to a beach with some rocks and lots of smooth sand to walk along. I saw 7 layers of crashing 🌊 waves which brought in some agates.
Stayed in full electric #57 loop 3, near restroom but was fairly quiet end of 1st week of May. Have 3 clean bathrooms within grounds. Large trash can within distance of every camp site.
Hosts drove around several times a day and were friendly.

This National Forest campground was a nice break from the State Park ones. Most sites have more privacy and generally are not right on top of each other. Great beach just over the dune. Many sites have an amazing ocean view. Nice shaded sites under a tree canopy in the back. The only downside is proximity to 101, so book as close to beach and the waves will take care of any road noise.

Great campground. Bathrooms are super clean and nice. The beach side sites having amazing views of the ocean. All the spaces are close to the two sets of stairs to get to the beach. I will be back as soon as I can, also want to mention the staff here are great, super nice, very helpful and they take very good care of everything!

I used to camp here every year. There's beach access, great foliage, fire pit and picnic tables and access to restrooms. Great memories.

Great campsite. We stayed here for a week and enjoyed every minute. The beach is beautiful and provides opportunities for walking, running, flying kites, sand sculptures, biking. The staff are very helpful and work to meet the needs. The bathrooms were very clean, and the available resources made for a great trip.

We go with close friends every year and it's always a great experience. Chose to rent a camper this year which was nice seeing that it rained for the first day or so. Camp hosts were super friendly and a joy to have conversations with. So many beautiful and diverse sites as well. Beach side or back in the trees. You're best bet is to set a reminder for 6 months to the day to reserve as these go pretty fast and the first come first serve sites are generally already taken as well.

Great campground, mostly RV's in the fall. A few spots had bad flooding from the recent rainstorm. Clean bathrooms with flushing toilets. Sites vary in size and privacy, nice beach views and easy beach access. There is a day use area with beach access as well.

Great campground for those who want to be a couple minute walk from the ocean.

Northside of campground has a short easy staircase to the beach and the south staircase is manageable but steeper.

Camphosts were lovely. Beach was private and clean.

Dump stations are both north and south about a 15 minute drive.

Awesome campground on the beach. Private camp sites, first come first served available. We snagged the last site, next to the road. Didn't see the road, slept to the sound of the waves crashing all night. I don't think there's a bad camp site in this whole place! Many of the campgrounds in the area close this time of year (October) so it was fully packed. Book ahead if you can.

Loved every second at this campground! I stayed at the site furthest south, had full view of the beach/ocean and a ton of beach to walk, swim and take the dogs out! The staff/owner of the campground was very nice, check in was easy, and the site was very clean! Would highly recommend!

I almost don't want to give a review so I can keep it all to myself. I live in oregon and visit the coast almost every weekend and I can honestly say this place is the best of them all in my book.

We lucked out and got one of the 1st come 1st served sites. That was pure dumb luck. This campground is awesome. A gorgeous beach that goes and goes for miles, near Waldport, Yachats, Cape Perpetua, Heceta Head and more. While we were there we had a few beach days, went fishing, kayaking and hiking. We were having so much fun we extended our stay for the max stay of 14 nites.

The camphosts are very friendly, helpful and try their best to keep the restrooms and campsites clean. Be nice to them!

This is a really great place to stay right off of 101. We stayed 2 nights "inland" in the woods, and 2 nights at a beach site. There are no showers and no rv dump station. There is a Camphost that sells firewood. There is a self check in station you pay cash or check. They accept the access pass cards for half off. Great beach access and beautiful sunsets

This was a great place for friends to get together for a weekend but still be able to social distance. Even when the weather is cool and misty, it's still beautiful. The camp hosts work tirelessly to make sure the place is clean, especially the bathrooms. I love this campground
