When the waves are big and crashing in, this is quite a sight to see. The water rushes in a hole in the side of the rock and comes spraying out the top. It's located SE of Thors Well which is another awesome spot. I would stop here regularly as I can't see anyone tiring off this experience. Though when the ocean is quiet it's not as spectacular but still cool.

I was probably more excited about Thor's Well than Spouting Horn. But when we actually arrived, Spouting Horn was the coolest. You can get very close to Spouting Horn from the paths. Thor's Well and Spouting Horn are located in the same area and a short walk from each other. Definitely go during high tide! The crashing waves were phenomenal to watch.

Absolutely worth the stop for a few minutes to check it out! Easy short paved walkway to get down closer to it. There are quite a few steps off to the left leading to a view of the spouting horn.
It was very windy, stay warm and safe, you may get sprayed. Sorry for us talking behind the videos

This was an absolute blast! It was a lot of fun to watch the waves crashing on the rocks and seeing the water spout through! And you can see Thors Well from the same viewpoint as well!

Cape Perpetua is a wide scenic area that includes Spouting Horn, Thor's Well and trails. We timed our visit to high tide. Spouting Horn is mesmerizing to watch. Every so often, there would be a giant wave that caused the water to spray in greater heights. In low tide, Spouting Horn won't produce much action or sound especially if viewed from the parking area.
But even in low tide, there are plenty of spots to explore and it is absolutely worth it to walk down to the scenic area. I sat on a bench to enjoy various wave activities. We even saw sprays from a whale family outside of the Devil's Churn. Sure wish I had a pair of binoculars with me then.

A very cool natural feature to watch. Water spouting up from lava tubes when the waves are high and hitting the rocks. Jets of water and mist shoot up from the holes similar to how a whale spouts water. Watched for a while and saw people doing really silly things for pictures. Right on highway so a good stop.

I want to start off by saying that we visited Cape Perpetual at low tide. This was not ideal for seeing the spouting horn. With that being said, it is definitely still worth visiting the interesting rock forms in this area.

The rangers told us that when the sea is rough enough you can, in fact, see the spout. Alas, we did not. Five stars though. Don't miss this spot no matter what time of day or year!

What a beautiful stop! One parking spot and you can see multiple natural wonders in one go. Thor’s well, Cook’s chasm, and sprouting horn are all here at one stop. Walk a bit around the area to catch multiple different view points. Recommend coming during incoming high tide when the swell is stronger!

Much visit place on the coast. Water rises like a fountain on high tide. Its an amazing place, you would see parking spot full and people standing by the road. So it won't be missed.

Parking is very limited, around 20 spots. So could be tricky to find a spot. There is no board that says "Sprouting Horn" on the road, instead stop when you see "Cooks Chasm" board. Hike down to the well is very easy just about 1 mile. Small slide followed by very few steps to walk down.

Get there before 1 hour of high tide to get amazing pictures. This way it gives enough time to find the right spot, settle down tripod and get ready to click pictures. Water needs to be filled first, then the next high tide will push water out like a fountain. But don't try to get close in high tide, its too dangerous.

We got there before sunrise and it was beautiful! Sound of the waves crashing into rocks and the view to ocean was cool. Don't forget to carry jacket, it would get really cold there.

We could also see Thor's well from the sam point. So the traffic here gets very busy and finding a parking will be pretty hard.

My family has been visiting Oregon for many years now and we never visited Thors Well/Spouting Horn. I saw it and thought it looked cool. Unfortunately my father in law isn’t so stable on his feet so I wanted to check it out ahead of time so we could see if he would be able to participate with us while there.

The Spouting Horn/Thors Well are absolutely gorgeous to see and worth the trip. This particular stop is very popular since it is right off the highway so don’t expect to pull up at high tide and just park. Arrive earlier during high tide just in case you need to wait for a parking spot.

For those who have people in your group with accessibility needs:
The path about 1/2 the way down is paved. The landing area where the paved path ends has a bench and small paved area where those who are a bit less stable on their feet can still see Thors Well/Spouting Horn. There are also stairs down to the rocks One can also see Thors well from the parking lot. One could probably see Spouting Horn from the bridge too.

The natural wonders of this rugged coast line are unbelievable.
The numerous Sea Spouts, Sea caves, trails, windswept beaches, tidal pools, rock formations with Mother Natures waters features and Sea Stacks, not to mention the wildlife you will not get board looking for things to do.
There are plenty of beaches to go treasure hunting and be at one with the powerful forces of nature.
As always leave it better than you found it and enjoy

This was a highlight of the entire coastal highway!

We stopped here for over an hour and had such a great time going around the tide pools and then stayed by the well for maybe 10 minutes and only one other person was there at 9am on a Monday.

Right after we walked away many other people came up and a line formed. Could be super busy on weekends. I'd love to watch the sunset here!

Try to go near high tide to get the best spouting action. There are several viewing spots on the paved trail and you can walk out on the rocks to get a closer view.

Very cool area when the tide is coming in. Beware of sneaker waves and high tide. Mostly paved but with slopes and unevenness, some unpaved walkways and steps to get lower to the horn.

Cool rock feature next to Thor's well. Easy walk down. More exciting towards high tide.

Sprouting Horn was a fantastic site to see. Make sure you go during high tide. I went during king tides so the Sprouting Horn was at it’s full force. Be careful getting close! Sneaker waves come up a lot.

Cool place to sea, for sure! ;) brought my dog, she did better than most of the kids there navigating the rocks and all. You could jump right in the Well and meet Thor in Valhallah if ya got nothing else to do.

Such a fun stop! We could’ve watched for hours. Beautiful sight.
