Ona Restaurant & Lounge

We have Portland standards and this is the best restaurant in Yachats off season. Food, service, and view are all good. Food is fresh and high quality. The servers are very professional and knowledgeable.

We’ve eaten dinner and lunch there. It’s all been great.

Drinks are very good too.

There is a patio with a bay view.
The restaurant is small, which is nice because you feel well cared for.

Delicious dinner and drinks! I got the Ona Pasta and a pumpkin buttered rum drink. Both were amazing. The clam chowder was top notch, a little different from the traditional chowder on the Oregon coast so I'm surprised I liked it better. Very happy we had our anniversary dinner here.

Coming here was the best experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We were sat in the heated patio, with a view of the river. The service was prompt and kind. The Marion cocktail was not too sweet, which is just perfect for me. The food was divine. Probably the best Clam Chowder we have ever had. The special was a Chelsea Rose Chinook Salmon with a wonderful risotto. I could eat that every day for the rest of my life. Such a wonderful meal enjoyed on the coast.

10/10 recommend. The calamari was so unique and some of the best we’d ever had. The server let us know they prepare it a little differently and gave us tips on how to combine it with the cilantro and Serrano peppers.

I had the smoked salmon pasta and it was so delicious. Creamy and tangy. My boyfriend had the meatloaf and said it was some of the best he’d ever had. The julep was also fantastic.

Obviously it’s a bit more expensive than your average seaside dive, but well worth it and a great fancy date night spot.

The server was very kind and accommodating, and the views were fantastic. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting Yachats and looking for a fancy dining experience!

Have been there a few times, I sit on the patio and they accommodate my dog and bring him fresh water. Service is good, food very good. I haven't been disappointed. Nice view from the patio, too.

Superb food, made fresh, with a gorgeous view and super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Spendy but worth a splurge.

Bruce was our waiter and he was super awesome. The food was incredible. Make sure to book a reservation. It gets a bit loud in there but the view and atmosphere is laid back and enjoyable. We had a nice corner table that felt more private than most. We enjoyed class, seafood platter and the wagyu burger, I recommend all 3.

This is a nice place. A little on the higher-priced side, but the food, service and atmosphere match the prices.

Best food on the Oregon coast! We sat outside on the patio with a beautiful view of the ocean. I ordered the tuna melt, best tuna melt I’ve ever had. The flavors are amazing! Open faced on a wonderful sourdough bread , I got the coleslaw and was not disappointed it was fresh with a hint of ginger, yummmmm I would love to try everything here. My girlfriend had the veggie burger all homemade with great flavors! Best veggie burger I’ve ever had too. Highly recommend if you want excellent food!

Excellent view. Excellent food. Some of the subtle twists they put on traditional dishes (like their yuzu slush for oysters on the half shell) are so appreciated and refreshing! In my opinion, I have not had a better chowder on the entire West Coast. Their use of both chopped and minced clams is brilliant.

Seafood menu items consist of all local products. Taste and freshness were unparalleled. The atmosphere consists of Ocean view and Open spaces. Service was impeccable.

I would highly recommend the clams! It came with probably the best bread I've ever had with it's crispy crust and soft airy crumb to dip, or in my case, soak in the tasty garlicy vermouth sauce of the clams. Wonderful, friendly service and the views from the outdoor dining area was fantastic as well.

We and our dogs enjoyed sitting on the patio outside. I had the vegeburger. Great to eat at a place that put thought into the ingredients in their vegetarian option. Didn't feel lazy, and it had great flavor. My girlfriend enjoyed the tuna melt tremendously. Recommend!

One of the most pleasant and delicious lunches I've ever had. Must visit if you're anywhere nearby.

Great place with covered & sheltered patio dining, ideal for lunch or dinner with a dog in tow. Refined menu with a respectable wine list, everything seems to be fresh & as local as practically possible (e.g., line caught local rock fish instead of flown in cod for fish & chips).

I had Ona Pasta, it had real prawns. Most restaurants I've been to say prawns but are shrimp. My husband had the Meatloaf Panini amd both were excellent. Very clean and the service was great. Beautiful presentation! Can't wait to try more.

I loved Ona! I've always wanted to try to rare seared tuna steak and I knew Ona was the best place. I thought it was delicious. The rice was amazing. The mushrooms, eggs, and green beans all went well with the tuna. The clam chowder was the best I had on the Oregon coast (I tried four different restaurants chowder on my trip). I ordered a house special cocktail called the Marion and I liked it. My wife had the wagyu burger and it was very good and more than she could eat. So that's a compliment in my opinion. Also, while I was there I bought some artwork depicting a location I'd spent a lot of time at in Yachats. 5 stars!

A delightful dining experience in beautiful Yachats. Nice relaxing ambiance with soft lighting & music. We ordered the hangar steak and mushroom ramen and both were fantastic. Ona has an exciting, varied menu. Great for a date night. Would definitely come back.

We pulled in right off the street on our way in from Portland. No reservation and they sat us in a quiet place on the porch, right before the crowd. I had the grilled mixed seafood with scallops, prawns, crab cakes over ride and mixed vegetables and it was wonderful. My raspberry vodka cocktail was just right and for dessert I had the sticky toffee bread with molasses and ice cream. Sooooo good!
