We were told to come here by some locals because they said it was the best place to get tacos and they were right. The owner herself took our order and prepared our food so this is a great small business. We had shrimp, steak, and chicken tacos and they were all excellent. The ingredients were fresh and the salsa was Smokey and spicy. We are climbers and love tacos and these are for sure up there on the list of great eats during our travels. For sure worth the stop.

Love this place! Authentic Mexican. We had many tacos and they were all delicious! 10/10 would eat most nights if I were local. Thank you! From New Zealand

Best Mexican food I have ever had in my whole life! We drove from Kingman, AZ through Death Valley, it’s quite late when we arrive Lone Pine and we were so lucky this place was opened until 10:30 pm. We ordered an Only Meat Asada & Cabeza Burritos and a Cabeza Quesadillas - And we enjoyed every bite of them. The portions were good and the flavors were so rich. Will need to come back again!

Excellent food! Tacos were delicious. Very friendly service. Great little town. Food truck, don’t let that deter you! Carne asada tacos were the fave. Fresh green spicy salsa and limes were the perfect toppings.

Steak tacos.. wow! Charred meat was super tasty. Some of the best I’ve had! Add the avocado. Both salsas are very good too.

Muy Sabrosa!
These people know how to make a great taco.
Too cold outside to stay and eat so Atmosphere takes a small deduction.

Wow! Make sure you stop by this roadside taco truck! Delicious tacos!

I wish they had lengua but the carne asada was good. So was the carnitas, chicken, and marinated pork. My favorite was the chicken.

Always a good sign when you see big rigs parked up front and locals stopping in for tacos at 10pm. This rare-find taco truck parked in front of a motel is a must-try while driving along 395.

One of few that serve chicharrón and options rarely seen north of the border: mulitas, adovada.

Had an amazing meal here after backcountry hiking in Death Valley.

This place is an unexpected beacon on a cold night drive up 395. Don’t sleep on it or settle for fast food joints if you don’t have to

I personally got 3 tacos:

- Asada: perfectly seasoned and tender without being dried out

- Carnitas: just the right kind of simmered deliciousness. Crispy edges but plenty juicy

- Adovada: when you need that salty marinated kick to round it out, this one scratches that itch

Get all the fixins on there. Salsa has a nice kick but definitely manageable for anyone who can handle a bit of heat. The flavor melds so well with all the meats

Waited outside in a snow storm, totally worth it. Ordered two burritos and was handed two packages the size of a small baby. Classic, good quality, good tasting taco truck food. They also have great prices compared to local restaurants, considering the portions and that this is homemade and fresh.

Oh my goodness. This place never fails. I want hungry, so only asked for 1 taco. It was so good I ate one of my husband's.

Stopped here for dinner as we were passing through the town. The food was prepared quickly and it came hot. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the food, but it was delicious. High quality ingredients and they did not skimp on the meat. We got the shrimp taco, marinated pork taco and the shrimp quesadilla. They were all very delicious and well prepared. Thanks!

Grabbed dinner here after exiting the John Muir Trail. Our party of 3 got an assortment of tacos and a quesadilla and it was all delicious. The service was super friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Tony for helping out us hikers. You really made our night! Will definitely stop by again if we run through Lone Pine.

EAT HERE. Thanks to two separate closures on the 395, we had been in the car for 7 hours (coming from LA) and we were starving! This place really hit the spot! The tortillas are homemade and super fresh! The carnitas is delicious! They were out of chicken so i got carne asada also. It wasn’t as fabulous as the pork, but it was still good. I’m not a fan of onions so i was stoked that they could do the cilantro without onions. Sometimes it’s already combined so i have to go without. This will be a new go to when we are too hungry to make it to holy smoke’s in bishop!
