Shockingly good food!! We stopped here for lunch, and then came back the same day for dinner because of how amazing the food was.

Highly recommend the fish tacos (they’re grilled, not breaded/fried)! They don’t have any veggie or vegan options, although you could probably order a burrito without the meat. The fish burrito was also great, but preferred the fish tacos.

They have one long table with chairs under a cover, a hand-washing station with soap and water, and recycling for bottles! We were impressed. The owners/employees were incredibly kind as well.

This place is CASH ONLY! You can get cash out from the ATM in the gas station across the street though, which is what we did. There are only a couple spots along the road next to the truck, but we didn’t have any issues getting one of those spots.

Stopped on the way back from Mammoth. Absolutely amazing tacos and service. It’s a must💥💥💥

Great variety of tacos. All are spectacular. They’re hot sauce options are great clean food. Definitely a go to Quikstop meal as you head in and out towards either Mammoth
or Los Angeles.

These are honestly the best tacos we’ve had. I normally hate eating the skin of the tacos but they’re so toasty and tasty here. The carnitas is so incredible, our next fave is the shrimp, then adobada, then asada. All well above average. They also have extra long (500ml) Mexican sodas! Would definitely stop by again in the area.

If you are in town or driving through, YOU HAVE TO STOP HERE!!! It’s so, sooo good! The Carnitas & Adobada tacos were my favorite. Asada is close. ✊🏼

Just got wowed !! You must visit this food truck if you are in the area. We were just stopping for gas and decided to grab a few tacos. We usually get flour tortillas but we forgot to mention. Def did not regret it. The corn tortilla was sooo good. My fav is the fish and shrimp tacos, so fresh and flavored. The hot sauce provided has a strong kick to it. I thought I ate spicy (snack on raw jalapeños) and the hot sauce had me chugging a bottle of water afterwards.

Tacos here are amazing! Loaded $3 tacos. We had carnitas and seasoned pork. The hot sauce was hot and sooo good too. Excellent!

From LA and can still say these were some of the best tacos we’ve ever had! Friendly costumer service, great meat quality and quantity, fresh salsa and all around delicious!

Great, fresh, yummy Mexican food and super nice, friendly lady.
We'll definitely plan on stopping here again next time we come through town!

THE best carnitas tacos I've ever had, and I take them very seriously.

Came three times in one week for lunch, tried all the tacos (except chicken neck that they ran out of), Carnitas and Fish were especially fantastic.

Service is friendly, food is fresh, and prices are good.

Wow!! Unexpected experience in Lone Pine. From Phx and this some of the best tacos I’ve eaten. $2 per taco and they are filling!! Be warned you’ll leave full. And satisfied

Delicious! Two carnitas tacos, a soft drink and something for the tip jar - $10. Excellent quality, great flavor, easy access.

I got a shrimp burrito and my husband got a carnitas burrito. Both very tasty. The carnitas were a little crispy but the shrimp was seasoned perfectly. And as a Hispanic person who regularly eats beans I can say that was some of the tastiest burrito bean I have had! There is a small seating area if you don't want to take it elsewhere.

Not only the best tacos in Lone Pine, and a new must eat when In town. These tacos rival any tacos I’ve ever had. The Asada and carnitas was incredible and the salsa is not for the weak!

Also, this tack truck is cash only, when I went to pay with a card he kindly let me know and without hesitation allowed me to take the tacos free of charge. Of course I couldn’t stomach that and went to the ATM across the street. Kindness does exist!

It's crazy to find such a high-quality burrito in the middle of a desert!

$11 for the burrito and $3 for the Coke in May 2022.

It is crazy to find the best cachete and buche tacos all the way down there in the Sierras. Super well served and in a double tortilla, like if I was in México again. The salsa roja is the way to go!

Every review here has it right, these tacos are insanely good. I had the spiced pork and the carnitas, and while both were excellent, the carnitas took the cake for sure. Will 100% come back!

If you’re near Lone Pine and hungry you should check this place out! Delicious food, friendly people and not overpriced like the restaurants in town.
