We had an awesome dining experience at this cozy place. Tucked away in the downtown area it sits across from Lehmann Park and has a great view of it.

It's quaint which is fabulous for the Sunday breakfast goer that strolls in around 10 AM. We didn't have to wait with 7 people which was great.

The southern breakfast was wonderful and the biscuits and gravy are delicious. The portions are big and there were smiles all around from the kids with the pancakes and chocolate chip french toast.

They have specials for breakfast and lunch and the menu selection is pretty big! Can't wait to try the lunch selection and head back to this gem!

Very friendly Family run Restaurant very fast and Good home cooked meals. I got the ham and cheese omelet and the Wife had the crepes both were excellent. We have lived not far from here for 15 years and never noticed it until today!!! We will be back !!!!!! I have been back multiple times in the last 2 years after my 1st experience and its been absolutely perfect everytime! Thank you

I have to shamefully admit I’ve never been here in the several years I’ve lived in Lindenhurst. It is now my favorite breakfast place. Amazing food. Some of the nicest people working and it just felt good to be there. The food was hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. I 100% recommend this restaurant.
It is now my breakfast destination choice!!

Lake Villa restaurant is a local gem! The family owned business is epitome of customer service and good food. This is a local diner and serves up traditional diner food that is quality and served with a smile and an accommodating staff.

Given this is one of the restaurants that locals flock to, it does get busy and to freshly prepare an order can take a minute; however, very reasonable wait time! I enjoy a relaxed environment and a traditional diner breakfast.

When I return to Lake Villa, IL for a visit, I will be visiting LVR!

We stopped here while we were out fishing this weekend and were pleasantly surprised! Don't let the bland store front sign steer you away. Everything here was homemade, fresh and super delicious! First of all, we came in 30 minutes before closing...I know, we are jerks. But Felicia welcomed us and was happy to serve us. I had a sloppy Joe! haha! I haven't had one in forever, let alone at a restaurant and it was delicious! I also had a baked french onion soup which was one of the best I've ever had. My boyfriend and his dad had the hot beef and the Greek omelet. The hashbrowns were fresh boiled and shredded potatoes (hard to come by anymore) and the hot beef must have been good because it was a big portion and dad never eats anything and he was scraping his plate clean! On top of great food, they also have coke, pepsi AND RC! How about that! Great service. It felt like family. Very welcoming and friendly. We will be back!

Saturday was our first visit to Lake Villa Restaurant, and we will definitely be back! The food was great, and everyone was so welcoming and kind. The family clearly enjoys serving the community, and it shows!

I love this small breakfast nook. When we get the chance hubby and I enjoy it after the kids go to school. The food is always delicious.

Always great food, nothing frozen everything fresh. Family owned and the love comes out in everything they do. Must try any of the fresh home made pie and ciminum rolls.

Awesome lil spot. I went with my wife, 1 yr old son, sister inlaw and niece. Loved the service and the small town family feel. Good food, excellent service and the cream on top was plenty of parking and it was free.

It's a railway diner that serves great food. I had an egg salad sandwich on wheat toast with fries. There were some subtle herb flavors in the egg salad and the fries were golden brown and crisp

Love this neighbourhood diner! The owners are so nice, the staff is warm and friendly, and the food is great! Homemade soups and pies that rotate daily. Try and catch the cream of spinach! Open for breakfast and lunch with daily specials.

It may be a small out-of-the-way restaurant run by family, but the food is always delicious and the staff is always friendly. This is always our go to place for either a quick brunch or lunchtime specials.

We love going to the Lake Villa Restaurant especially for their home made pies and their Italian beef. Food and the service is always amazing.

This is an awesome family owned business with home-made cinnamon rolls which are amazing delicious! They have mimosas in orange 🍊 or pineapple 🍍. Just remember to show your ID. Come on in and enjoy some wonderful food today!

Absolutely delicious! Started with the French onion soup and cream of spinach both were fantastic. You could definietly tell they were homemade. The 30 mins we were there they sold 7 Reubens including one to my husband and it was one of the best hes ever had. I had the chicken salad sandwich. It was delicious.

You've a great family owned and run breakfast/lunch diner at Lake Villa Diner. Mike and his family provide a superb venue with that home cooking atmosphere. If you haven't ever eaten here, you are shorting yourself; if you are waiting for COVID 19 restrictions to be lifted, the restaurant is set up per current COVID 19 guidelines. Come out and enjoy your breakfast or lunch outing. And don't forget to take home some of Mike's tasty cinnamon buns. Takeout or eat in is your choice.

Lake Villa Restaurant is a hidden gem of a diner that has been around for over 42 years and is a must try!
The homemade soups, pies and cinnamon rolls are so delicious. The food and service is great and I love the old time diner feel which you can’t find anymore. Highly recommend and I would rather support local mom and pop shops like this than chain restaurants. Excellent all around!
