Denny's

The server we had was amazing. She was very attentive to detail and was running her area with ease and professionalism. Received our food fast, despite the fact that the restaurant was full. The food was top notch. Would definitely come here again.

Our Waiter Danny seemed to be in a league of his own. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My friend and I came in after working our 12-12 shift. We came in I was truly amazed our waiter Danny. He made us laugh pretty hard and he was very knowledgeable with the menu. We asked about different menu items and he knew how they were made and what went into it. This was helpful because I have deathly allergies and he knew what I could or for my diet.

Always had my coffee full and our food came fast. Our creamer was never left empty and neither was our laughs the entire meal. He made our dining experience feel like we were in fancy restaurant.

If you love Dennys food, but are tired of service you recieve, request Danny. Can't reccomend him enough, he really gives you the nostalgia of being at a classic American dinner.

I'm positively biased when it comes to Denny's 😁. With that said, this location is always awesome, clean & welcoming. It's always a good time! And the food, yes. I usually get the bourbon chicken platter or sizzling skillet minus cheese. With a gluten-free bun on the side since my life is lame and I can't eat regular bread 😩

My wife and I stopped here for dinner about a week before Christmas this year ( 2022 ) and, as I said as I parked the car, I didn't remember the last time I had been at a Denny's restaurant. I remember the 80s TV commercials for it but, at that time, there weren't any ( to the best of my recollection ) in Fond du Lac / Oshkosh / Appleton and that's where I generally roamed at that point in my life. All of this being the case, I was interested in trying their food again after so many years. Wow...I wasn't disappointed. I had Chicken Fried Steak with corn and potatoes and I don't think I said a word while I was eating ( those friends of mine who might stumble upon this review will laugh at the thought of me NOT talking while eating a meal ! 😉 ) because I didn't want to interrupt the enjoyment of my meal. God, was that ever wonderful ! This sits squarely in the "comfort food" zone, which is probably one of the reasons that I enjoyed it so much -- it's my kind of meal. Once I was done inhaling my food there an audible "Ahhhh..." from me, after which I had a hard time staying awake. All of this, in my mind, is the mark of a KILLER meal...and this certainly was that. If this kind of food is your thing, try Denny's again like I did -- you won't be disappointed !

Ashley was a great server that provided great conversation and the best food! Unbeknownst, her mother worked here as well! All I can say is that they’re awesome!

Alivia our waitress is just amazing and I tipped her very well. And had also talked to the owner as well, he personally walks around and checks on customers. 100 out of 100 here. Very pleased.

Ordered delivery through their website. Much of my order was missing and the food we actually did receive was a messy disaster. However, though it took some time to get through to the restaurant since it was a busy time of day, once I did get in contact with someone they were very understanding and diligent in working to make it right.

My order had been delivered through DoorDash and they were expecting my complaint after watching the driver drop my order on the ground and refuse to wait for a replacement. I greatly appreciate them going above and beyond to correct an error that was not even their fault.

Really good food and very friendly service. The staff here is so pleasant and attentive. The service is quick and the facilities, including the dining room and bathrooms, are very clean!

Great food and generous for “FREE KIDS MEAL only in Denny’s restaurant”. 😋

Tom & Nicole are 10/10 as are the chicken tenders. Would recommend a late night Dennys trip to anyone who is looking for good food & good service.

If you can consistently offer over par in each category, thats worthy of appraisal. Team is friendly and food is worthy to come back for a dish of your favorite.

Vickie S is my choice of Server when I go to this Denny’s. She is truly a 5 Star Worker. She will stop what she’s doing to LISTEN to what ever you need to say. If you’re having a bad day, she’s there to listen. She has so much compassion for people. The best Server in Appleton. Thank you Vickie S. Oh, sorry Denny’s….. The food is great to!!!

Danny and Nicole provided absolutely astounding service. They took a group of 30 of us at about 10:15 pm when Perkins failed to book us at the right time (10 am instead of 10 pm), took all of our orders and were doling it all out at a phenomenal rate. By far the best service I have ever gotten at a Denny's for a single visit, ever. Thank you for dealing with all of our shenanigans, and your patience with us. We truly appreciate it.

My wife, daughter and I went to this Dennys location 08/07/2023 and we all enjoyed our experience. The food was great and the service was exemplary. We really felt at home being served. Compliment to the chef and server. Keep up the exceptional work ethic and customer service

I came here with my child and husband because we wanted to check out the "kids eat for free" dinner deal. Our server Austin was upbeat and attentive. Everyone was so accommodating for my toddler, and they took extra care to inform me of dairy once I mentioned my aversion to it. The food was better than I had come to expect from Denny's past. I will happily be dining here again.

Dani was our waiter with a group of 25 at 1030pm at night. Not only did they take us in, they served food crazy quick and it was amazing. Nicole helped out quite a bit and was amazing also.

But Denny is never there. Name is on the building, never there.
