Charming, convenient and well cared for. The room we stayed in was very clean and nicely decorated. Great bed. Loved the bathroom door. The front staff is friendly and very helpful. The location is idea, with easy walk ability to MANY great restaurants and wine tasting rooms. Courtyard is lovely. Good off street parking. 20 minutes to Sedona and Jerome. The only warning would be if you have mobility issues, ask for first level room. Also, the toilet in our room was very low. And one request for comfort would be a hook in the bathroom to hang clothes on when taking a shower. Thank you for your attention to detail that made our stay so pleasant.

I won't stay in a different hotel/motel in this area. This place is so welcoming and comfortable. The staff is really excellent and the hacienda setup with real keys adds to the charm. The rooms are updated and I really like the little coffee room. It's centrally located near bars and restaurants, and parking is really easy.

A group of friends and I had a perfect stay at the Iron Horse Inn back in January and we're still talking about it! The coffee and hot chocolate was delightful and the rooms were the perfect size, clean and comfortable. The staff was great considering our late arrival, and we were within easy walking distance of great restaurants even in the cold. I'd go out of my way to stay here again.

I really enjoyed staying at the Iron Horse. My room was super cute and perfect for just me. I enjoyed the coffee room down the way in the courtyard. The only thing I'd recommend is adding a light mattress top pad, just for a little more cushion to the bed. Other than that, a great stay with good pricing and the front desk was helpful and in good spirits.

I don't want to tell anyone about the Iron Horse. It was amazing, not the most spacious room but EVERYTHING else was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, unique, all rooms face a central courtyard. I would love to bring my entire family and rent the entire hotel. Highly recommend. Don't tell anyone! JK

Amazing little inn!! We booked last minute due to some weather issues and absolutely loved it. Clean and comfortable rooms, free Starbucks coffee/tea/hot chocolate, nice staff, cute location and lots of stuff to do!! Prices were very reasonable too given that we booked 2 hours before showing up!!

Booked for a couple nights while in the area, and this place was amazing.

The building is older with narrow stairwells.. but the rooms appeared updated. While not huge, they were super cozy. Location is ideal.. right on the main street and close to a few restaurants & bars.

Staff was amazing. Accomodated a late check in and were nothing but kind and professional the whole stay.

Great location. Cute courtyard and rooms. Friendly staff. Smaller rooms, but it has everything you need (fridge, microwave, safe). Shops and restaurants nearby that are east to walk to.

We spent a couple of nights at this place over the past weekend. It is a very beautiful hidden gem in Cottonwood and so glad we decided to take this trip.
The staff was nice, professional and polite from the minute my cousin and I arrived. Barbara was very helpful and provided great suggestions on how to maximize our time in the Sedona area. Due to the weather, we were not able to do much on Sunday but spent valuable time at the Red Rock park and in Sedona on Saturday. The room was very cozy and comfortable. It was designed keeping guests in mind and had hot water to shower everyday which was a blessing in the cold. They have a separate room with coffee and hot water 24 hours for guests to keep them warm while taking a stroll around the town.
The only disappointment is we were unable to visit the train ride but looking at the positive side as it on our to-do list for next visit.
Overall, we had a great time and will surely be coming back to this boutique hotel.

Great little place to stay. Simple, clean accommodations. I had a little issue with the stairs but its historical and that can't be helped.
Right on the strip downtown so you could walk to anyplace you wanted to go!

Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location allowed us to walk to all the local wineries and not worry about who was going to drive. The local shopping was so much fun. We’ll definitely be back.

Cute clean place. They have done such a nice job remodeling this old hotel. So close to everything. Easy to walk to wine tasting, restaurants, shops and bars.

We stayed here before we moved here, and our room was beautiful and roomie. I highly recommend staying here. Simple as that!!

I really liked this place and am glad we took a chance to book. Free parking out back that’s easy to find and navigate. Courtyard available to socialize during the day and into the evening. Newly renovated rooms look more like studio apartments than a hotel room. The stairs were a bit uneven and if you’re tall, you really have to duck. It was just a tad noisy when we were getting ready for bed but by 10pm when quiet hours go into effect we couldn’t hear anyone anymore. The shower head was tall as well which was great for me.

Room size was great and they provided two bottles of water which was nice. We did notice something wrong with the floor but it wasn’t too bothersome.

There is no breakfast provided but there is a nearby restaurant which you get 20% off.

The location is really great with neighboring shops, restaurants, and walking trails to the river.

Everything about this hotel is completely five star! The rooms are clean and have everything you want for the very affordable price you're being charged. The other guest are kind, quiet and worth meeting so that you can tell your friends that you met people from Denmark, for example. The location is way beyond five stars. The people behind the desk are also way beyond five stars. You won't go wrong. Just remember that you are not paying for a full size fridge or a microwave like the one at home. The beds are probably better than yours, the parking is Uber easy and again, it's perfect for the cost. You'll enjoy it and like us, be returning.

Super cute motel. Right in the middle of downtown. Great location. Loved our stay. Will diffenitly return.

Old historic place. Is kept up and remodeled very nicely. It was very clean, and the host was super nice. No breakfast, but they're coffe is good. Single bed, room was very small, but we had places to hang and put belongings.
The price is right. Especially if you're trying to save money instead of going to Sedona.

Located in Historic Cottonwood, this inn is absolutely adorable. The few flaws that we found in the room give it charm. The courtyard is adorable, and if it hadn't been so hot, I'd have spent more time there. It's within walking distance of a ton of cute local artists shops and antique shops, and only a 15 minute drive from Jerome. Parking was a bit of a pain to fond, but easy to get into once you knew where to go. I highly recommend this place.

The Iron Horse Inn is a hidden gem right in the heart of beautiful Verde Valley in Cottonwood. While the property is a quaint, old school style hotel, the owners have done a good job keeping it very clean. It's old school vibe really makes it so charming and a great value in this cute part of town. Once you park your car here there is no need to drive anywhere, all the restaurants and shops are within walking distance. It was easy to check in and the price of this hotel is a great value for a wonderful area! We definitely will come back!

This place was absolutely outstanding! Clean and stylish rooms without being ostentatious, great shower, plenty of towels, quiet at night, close to restaurants, shops, and bars. The best feature was the beautiful courtyard with tables and umbrellas where you could sit and enjoy your morning coffee. The staff was excellent. This was one of the highlights of our entire trip!
