Steak 'n Shake

Always a great value for your dollar! Recommend as one of America’s best restaurants! Every meal is made fresh! The burgers are decent sized, the fries are amazing!! Wish SD had one of these!!

I stopped at this little gem of a Steak n Shake on my way back home. It was an odd time on a Sunday so I wasn't sure it was open. Rest assured they are open and ready for your business. The gentleman running the restaurant let me order at the counter since I was paying with cash even though all of the Steak n Shakes have gone to kiosks. The service was prompt, the food came out hot and delicious. I ordered the BBQ steak burger. My bacon was fried to a perfect crisp and my bun actually made a crispy crunch sound as I bit in. Perfection! The bathrooms are extremely clean.

Excellent! I'll eat here more often. Two dbl cheeseburger combo meals, each with a basket of fries and a large drink for under $18. Best lunch deal I've had in a while. Burgers were tasty and fries hot and crispy. Unsweet tea excellent. Restaurant was clean as well as the bathroom. Probably a very good manager running this store. We were a bit surprised by the kiosk ordering system. Sometimes the kiosk ordering systems are difficult, McDonald's comes to mind. However Steak and Shake must've figured that out as theirs was very easy. Price/Value/Service I'll give it an A+.

Steak 'n' Shake is my all-time favorite, and since I live in Arizona, I make it a point to visit as often as possible when I have the opportunity. I wish it was like it used to be with actual plates, servers, and whatnot, as the atmosphere has definitely changed, but I still love it. I always get the chili Mac and cheese fries. There is no beating it. Do yourself a favor and stop in for some good eats. They have so many shake options as well. You will not be disappointed!!

It was a busy weekend for our family, so we decided to give Brownsburg Steak and Shake drive thru a try. Our food was fast, the service was friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious!!! Steak and Shake is outstanding at it's best and this was the best we have had in years!!!

The steak burger was really good. Lettuce and tomato were fresh. Fries were crisp and hot. We had to use the newly installed kiosk. It was very easy to navigate. Two young men brought our food to the table and they were very polite.

Hadn't been here in too long. GREAT EXPERIENCE! Friendly people and delicious food. Burgers were cooked to order and the shakes were awesome.

Best steak and shake I have ever been too. I am from out of town and they took such good care of us and made my local steak shake seem terrible in comparison. Would definitely recommend.. Extremely nice staff!

Unfortunately in their hopes of making the drive thru time faster for us your meat maybe pre-cooked. When I received my burger it was cold however the staff made it over quickly and gave awesome customer service

I absolutely love this place. At times, service can be slow, but otherwise this place is amazing. Great food and great vibes. Somethin I recommend to the owner of the Brownsburg location is to either modernize the signage to the new logo, or modernize the entire restaurant its self to the new style.

Food was great and the staff was extremely friendly. They treated my mom and I with great respect and we were seated quickly. Food came out quicker than I expected and from my experiences at other Steak and Shakes the milkshakes usually come out late, but it came out really fast. Didn’t even have to ask for a to go cup either. Would definitely recommend!

I miss this place so much since all of the Louisville stores closed. We saw the sign for this one from the interstate & HAD to stop. They were drive-thru only service, but that was fine. My double steak burger was perfectly cooked. The fries were crispy & hot. The milkshakes were wonderful.

This restaurant is fantastic! The regional manager was on site when my large group stopped in. He was extremely accommodating and every staff member was working hard and were extremely polite. They all said “my pleasure” when taking our order and serving us. They were incredibly accommodating and the food was hot, delicious and perfectly served. Thank you so much to the Brownsburg, IN Steak n Shake!!!!

Our experiences here have been hit or miss over the years. Poor service, long wait times, etc.

Today, I did an online order and couldn’t be more pleased. The young lady who answered the phone when I called to tell them I was there was so friendly and sweet. My food was hot and 100% correct. And it tasted great!

Really nice manager and really cares about service and people! I’ve kinda ignored stake and shake for a while in our county due to service and management issues, but I see something changing for the better here. If you haven’t been for a while, go back and try this place again.

My wife and I stopped here on our way back from a reunion in Indy to grab a bite. When we went in the hostess/waitress greeted us at the door and seated us promptly. Our waitress (Logan) was courteous and helpful in my decision of what to order. The food came out QUICKLY (less than ten minutes but it seemed like five). I'd ordered parmesan/garlic/herb topping on my fries but it wasn't on them; it was rapidly corrected. A minor oversight remedied quickly and pleasantly. We gave the waitress the same tip as would've been given anyone else. We appreciated the great service with stellar regard for the customer. Bravo, ladies. Bravo. I would DEFINITELY recommend this location to anyone.

The waiter I had was awesome! He greated us all with a smile with a nice hello with a friendly tone of voice There was 13 of us at our table and he had pleased everyone of us including the kids. He kept our drinks filled, our food was hot and our shakes we're cold. When things were finished he was on his toes taking the dirty dishes off the table. No complaints what so ever. A very good experience all together. I rate this place a A+

It's hard to find a steak n shake where the employees care about their customers. The service here was great and the food tasted as if it were prepared with care. I highly recommend this location.
