I’m so happy that I went to Expert Appliance Center for repair of my Miele vacuum cleaner which needed a replacement on the hose connection to the machine. Alex, the manager, found the part needed and screwed in the part. Just $49 for the part and I’m all set to go. It turns out that Expert and Desco, my former store now closed, were the first authorized dealers in NYC. That history shows when Alex knew how to fix it and had the replacement part in stock. Other places I called just said the machine was too old and I should buy a new one when this machine was in perfect condition. Alex was so knowledgeable and helpful. Experience counts! By far the best appliance repair and service company I have ever worked with. They were extremely responsive, took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue, as well as explain what was going on. We will definitely be using them for any other appliance issues in the future. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

I have a Miele Manhattan vacuum that is almost 20 years old and sadly I only came to the realization this year that I should have been maintaining it all along. No worries, Expert Appliance Center came to the rescue. They did a maintenance and cleaning on it (no judgement!) and now it looks bright and shiny and runs like new. Reasonable service charge and quick turnaround. Will go back to this business for future work, they clearly know what they are doing. One note, they seem to prefer phone and in person interaction as my initial email was not answered ;-)

The people at Expert Appliance are professional and helpful! They helped us with our washer/dryer installation, and were prompt when we had stabilization issues.

Alex and Jose were both a pleasure to deal with! Very responsive, kind, and prompt. Jose quickly fixed our washing machine, and diagnosed the problem with our dishwasher, and gave us a short-term solution to continue using it while we waited for another party to come and repair it (as it was still under warranty). The felt in our dryer tub had begun to come loose. Jose from Expert arrived on time, and not only replaced the felt, but found additional internal leaks of lint that had balled up inside the dryer. Experts cleaned everything out and now the dryer is working great again.

I've used expert Appliance Center twice. The first time I changed my dryer, this time my dishwasher. Their service and expertise have been outstanding! From dealing with Alex on the phone and him being able to get what I needed, to the most professional and courteous service by Jose while removing my old appliance and installing the new one. I know that when needed, I will be calling them for sure.

Can't say enough good things. Bought washer/dryer from them 3 years ago, and just bought a dishwasher from them as well. As the name implies, these guys are experts. Have consistently been given good advice, and never feels salesy. Installation and service has also been fast, on time, and exceedingly professional.

Alex has sent Jose thrice over the course of the pandemic to fix our freezer, our dishwasher and figure out what was wrong with our washing machine. Every time we have had a great experience with him. My very picky husband in particular loves Jose! He found a penny that fell out of pocket lodged in a remote part of the washing machine that we would never have known to even look for! He told us to use less soap and not overload the dishwasher, he also secured it properly and I can't remember now what happened with the fridge but it was fixed quickly and we were delighted and relieved after he left. I suggest calling rather than emailing. I only just found this website and am so pleased decided to write a review although these repairs were done over the past year or more.

I called Expert Center because my GE Profile refrigerator broke. Alex provided really great customer service over the phone (which is something you don't get often in Brooklyn). My technician was Sandro. He was really great. Professional and Knowledgeable. I was lucky that they were able to fix my refrigerator (it's the best it has worked in a year now). Sandro must have been troubleshooting it for close to two hours. I should also mentioned I called another company before them and they told me to throw it out. In the end they saved me thousands. But even if they weren't able to fix it (which they did), I would know that they really did try everything.Will definitely retain their information for any future issues with any of my appliances.

Top notch service from our neighborhood shop! We've called Expert several times over the past 10 years for things like dishwasher repair, dishwasher installation, and washer/dryer repair. They are always extremely professional, attentive, and quick to dispatch a knowledgeable technician. Their prices are very fair and competitive. Their techs are great at explaining a given problem, advising on the best and most economical solution, and giving how-to instructions on future maintenance and trouble-shooting. Always our first call for any appliance issue.

Alex just left my house after fixing my leaking dishwasher. He was excellent. He thoroughly explained what he was doing and why. Saved me from having to spend $$$$ for a new dishwasher, and fixed my fridge door too, which I didn't even tell him about until he arrived. Super nice guy, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

I called to get a quote range so that I knew what I was getting myself into. The representative told me it ranges based on the work that needs to be done, and that he would have to see my vacuum first before giving me a final quote. That is to be expected, and the final quote was within his initial range he gave over the phone. While it took longer than originally quoted, the vacuum came back as good as new. It’s a super old Dyson from 2004, so I imagine he needed to wait for parts.

Great service. Alec at Expert Appliances really is an expert. He knows the world of appliances and can be a great guide. We recently bought a new dryer and new refrigerator from them and had a great experience both times.

I have the Miele washer ventless dryer stacked pair, which are terrific. But I was never happy with the installation and over the months it became clear that the units were not level. For the price of levelling the unit the technicians also checked it out thoroughly and gave me useful operation tips. They were punctual and extremely pleasant to deal with. I was able to get the appointment from a human on Saturday for Tuesday. I could not be happier with Expert Appliance Center.

Always helpful and knowledgeable in the store, and just had Jose come repair our Miele dishwasher - we’d been worried we may need to replace it, but he found about seven minor repairs and one replacement to be done to make it work wonderfully again. He was fully masked and had the needed repair part with him. Phew!

This is one of the best experiences I had. The manager was nice and friendly, and schedules fridge repair the time I was comfortable with. The technician Jose came on the timeframe and explained whatever he needs to do in plain language that I could understand. They are pricy, but you get the right service. I will come back if I need to.

I bought a Miele Olympus from here and it's truly the BMW of vacuum cleaners. The price is fair and also set, so you'll find the same price elsewhere. Alex (not sure if he's the owner or manager) was the one who helped me. He was very well versed and pleasant. I appreciated that he was straight forward, but in no way pushy. An added bonus is that they are the repair shop for Miele, so if something happens with the vacuum all I have to do is pay them a visit, no 1-800 numbers necessary! Support you local business! This place is solid.
