Prism at Park Avenue South Apartments

Angel - I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of your help in our apartment hunting process. I sincerely appreciate the tour you gave us last week, the tour you gave my mom this week, and the video that you sent yesterday. I wanted to let you know that we ultimately ended up going with a different building where we were able to get a 2-bedroom unit for a good value, but really loved the Prism and will certainly keep it in mind if we move in the future! I have lived here for almost five years, in two different units….and I am hoping to move to a third unit this year. I absolutely love this building.

The units are so thoughtfully laid out and absolutely beautiful, with the floor to ceiling windows. The windows are so thick, I barely notice outside noise.

The amenities are incredible - the gym is fully loaded, the pool is very clean and well maintained, and the children’s room is the perfect rainy day room for my toddler.

And last, but definitely not least, is the staff. Every single person that works here feels like family. They are so kind, thoughtful and gracious. Tsering, William, Anna, Star, Nelson, Bryan, Frank, Sam, Noah, Chris, Marius, and even former staff (Amparo, Bakary, Eric, Jean, Mo) are all incredible. Despite being just a rental building, I feel like I am in my forever home every single time I walk through the door.

But please don’t rent here because I don’t want my rent driven up by the demand for this gem of a building! 😊

Prism has been a great place to live. The entire administrative process from beginning to end was smooth and efficient. Leasing staff (Sam, Noah) are very friendly and respond promptly to all inquiries. The concierge staff is friendly and helpful and do a fantastic job managing packages (you should see the volume of deliveries, it's mind blowing). The building itself is beautiful and well maintained and the apartments are well designed and finished to a level that I would expect for the rental prices. Maintenance staff (Marius) take care of requests quickly and professionally. The amenity space is the best I have seen in Manhattan in this price point (pool, sauna, steam room, huge gym, pelotons, yoga studio, kids space, etc, etc.). Finally, the location cannot be beat; its literally on top of the 6 and 2 stops from Grand Central or Union Square making it easy to get anywhere in the city. I've hardly used a cab living here for a year unless I'm going to LaGuardia. There is a Whole Foods next door, plenty of restaurants within a 10 min walk and Madison Square Park is so close and lovely. If I wasn't moving out of state I would continue to rent here.

The Prism is a great building with superb staff. We have enjoyed living here so far and would definitely recommend the building.

Just moved into the building. We moved from our Coop in Greenwich Village that we owned for more than 30+ years to here about 3 months ago. We were nervous to make such a switch after so many years. But we could not be happier. Staff is great and the building is maintained really well.

Prism has been my favorite renting experience thus far!

1) From the front desk to the porters to the leasing office, literally every staff member is incredible
2) Amenities (lounge, sauna, steam room, pool, meeting rooms) are top notch and well-maintained
3) The Prism is as close as you can get to a "brand new" building in the city, as it's only a decade old
4) Fellow residents are super friendly

You Should Know:
The units on each floor are incredibly different in terms of lighting, closet/pantry space, kitchen counter space, etc. While the 3D virtual tour is good, I'd highly recommend checking out multiple units first

Frank the doorman is very professional and friendly. I have asked for many things and he has always responded quickly and appropriately. I recommend this staff.

Lived here for almost 3 years... great facilities (gym, pool, theater room), and even better staff. Front Desk knows you by name and the office staff goes above and beyond, particularly Sam.

Prism at Park Ave is such a great building to live in - It's very luxurious and clean! I especially want to commend the general service director Jet Shala! He's very polite and professional. If there is an issue in the apartment, he's quick to solve it without hesitation. I appreciate all the work he does and how great the staff works as well! Highly recommend this building to anyone!

The building staff is truly incredible. They take care of pretty much anything you can possibly think of that you could need help with. There were rarely maintenance issues, but if there was, Jet and his team dealt with them pretty immediately--at the latest the next day. And the front desk team goes out of their way to making living there feel easy and comfortable. Tsering, Amparo, Star, Frank, Nelson, Jean, Bryan, Mario, and the others are all truly a pleasure to know. (They are a pretty big team so forgive me if I left anyone out, but there really isn't one soul working at the front desk and maintenance team who won't be missed as I move closer to work.)

Best team, easiest application and move in process! Best living experience in NY. Sam is amazing!

Great building, the amenities are in great shape and always available and clean. The location is very central and having the 6 line close by helps a lot!
The highlight of the building is the staff! They are very dedicated and always have a smile on their face. Special shout-out to Tsering, Starling and Frank!

I would like to emphasize my admiration and immense gratitude for Frank, Starling, William, Tsering, Nelson and Amparo. They definitely make my life at Prism much more enjoyable. It is such a blessing to have an amazing concierge and porters.

Great Building in great location with Amazing Staff. Tsering, William, Frank, Amparo, Star, and the rest of the concierge team do an amazing job. The ammenities are very well run and taken care of by Randy and staff. Highly reccomend the Prism.

This place has its friendly staff… very clean and people who lived here are very friendly too… approachable…

Hands down the best community you could ask for! Everyone on the concierge/service team is literally so sweet and helpful. It's heartwarming and mind easing knowing that you will be taken care of any time during the day. I've established friendships with Tsering, Frank, Amparo at the concierge and other lovely staff. I've been recommending the building to many friends and would love to share it with potential renters here!

This building has the best staff we have seen across several NYC apartment towers and one of the reasons we continued to renew our lease. They take the time to get to know each of their residents and are there to help at a moments notice no matter how big or small the issue. Would highly recommend this building if considering.

Prism truly feels like home. The doormen and staff go above and beyond to help in every way. They remember everything and are always polite and helpful. There is no better location than the Prism as well.

I love living in this building and one of the best things about it is the staff. Everyone is fantastic, but Amparo, Frank, Bakhary and Bryan are simply the best. Every time I come home it’s putting a smile on my face and they go above and beyond. Could not be happier with the concierge staff and the building is so well maintained. The service staff are impeccable, lovely and first class - a quick shout out to Robin, Ana and Eric here! I recommend this building not only because of its beautiful architecture, fab location but specifically because of the people who make it worth it.
