Vacca's Pizza and Deli

I stopped here after hiking at nearby Wawayanda State Park. We ordered a whole pie with pepperoni, sausage, and onions. The pepperoni was obviously good. Sausage can be tricky. You never know what you're gonna get from place to place. But this was good Italian sausage, sliced thin enough that it was crispy from being cooked. Same with the onions. Some places cut em too thick and they don't cook through. These were thin and perfect. And the crust was some of the best I've had. Even after being closed up in a box, it didn't get soggy. It tasted good enough to eat it all.

There are fancier places, but those places are usually bland. This was a proper old school NJ/NY style pie, and that's what i want in my pizza. It's unexpected to find such a legit place all the way up this far north, but I'm glad i found it. I'll be back next time I'm in the area for sure.

Nice people who said they also moved out of the suburbs at some point like myself. I know good pizza and they’ve got it. Wings are also tasty. When you want to eat dinner and crash for the night at home, their food hits the spot.

Consistent with quality. Very flavorful pie. A lot of of their places around here the sauce isn’t to flavorful. This place makes a great pie. And also I ordered 3 pies the other day and the owner throws me a huge free bag of zeppoles. They were fantastic. Wife and kid and I love this joint.

My family and I all love their Pizza,... very well made, with generous cheese, sauce, and toppings.
My favorite is their Meatball Parmigiana dinner. <3
Fast Service, Comfortable pricing and the food is not Marred, (like all the cheese running to one side of the pizza.) Truly hate that.

Really great pizza and the best around especially in the lake area. I heard the owner listened to their customers opinions and I really have noticed that the pizza had gotten better since opening. Definitely recommend.
