I switched to this CVS because the staff at the other cvs near me was terrible and they banned because after the pharmacist accused me of hoarding or selling medications I called her the B word. Sadly it is the only pharmacy my insurance will work with locally. Unfortunately this CVS is just as bad. They can’t fill a script on time and are always out of medications. My first interaction with them they were 4 days late filling a critical medication I take. The script had been waiting there for a week to be filled. They did not fill it when it was due, I called and they were out of stock and told me “that I should have called ahead to make sure they had it”!? Then told me it wouldn’t be ready till 7pm the next day. I thought ok I can go two days without my meds. 7pm comes around “it never came on the truck”?! I was now getting sick, they offered to do nothing. So they made me page my doctor at 8pm on a Sunday. He called me back and told me he took care of it. He told them to substitute a 3 day script of the same medication but just a different brand name. It took them 4 days from the day it should have been filled to the day it was actually filled.

I am updating my review to say that I have now been dealing with this CVS for 3 months now and they still suck. I last month I called 3 days ahead and they were still a day late.

So this month I called ahead 3 days and then 1 day before my script was due to be filled I called and they said “yup it is scheduled to be filled tomorrow”.

Then I called back and asked them if they had it in stock. The same lady told me no they did not have enough stock but they would put in an order. So I asked her to set some aside so I don’t have to wait 34 or 31 days to get my meds like the past two months. She told me she couldn’t do that, so I asked her to fill it today for a few and I will come pick it up tomorrow her response was “the pharmacists do not allow partial fills and it was first come first serve.” Before my brain could comprehend the stupidity of the sentence that had just been spoken to me she was off of the phone.

I had had it so I called back and asked to speak to the pharmacist. I told him my story and before I could even finish he said “I’ll just fill you like 3 days worth now and you can come pick it up whenever. I was shocked! Someone had common sense! He even went so far to apologize for the problems before. I am glad I called back because this gentleman has reinstated my faith in humanity as far as the pharmacy world goes.

I went to pick up my script on my way home from visiting a friend and a very nice lady greeted me at the drive through. She had a smile on her face and said please and thank you. Then she stuck her head out the window and whispered to me “did you do something bad” and I asked why. She said that there were some things written about me in the notes from the other CVS and it said I was not allowed back to The exit 8 CVS at 1544 crescent location. I told her my story and said yeah I called the pharmacist the B word over the phone because she accused me of some pretty awful things. She laughed and said trust me you are not the only person that has called the pharmacists there the b word. She then said “but you are so nice and no offense but you don’t look like you could even get angry”. (I have a baby face) I expressed my shock to her that these notes were in there and she said “don’t worry hun I don’t pre-judge anyone”. I then saw this same lady a few days later inside and she remembered me and said Hi. So I am now upgrading my score of one star(which was technically zero but you can’t give a zero) to two stars. One star for the gentleman pharmacist who made common sense and apologized, and another star to the staffer that worked the window and the counter and put a smile on my face. In all fairness though I was doing some research and apparently CVS is the worst place to end up at if you are a pharmacist, I think they are just set up for failure and end up taking it out on patients.

Major surgery. Needed 5 prescriptions. One took 3 days and another took 1 week to get filled.

Extremely rude pharmacist and tech. I misunderstood a question about the name I used to sign up for a vaccine and she proceeded to state several times my mistake out loud. As of that would fix my error or at least make her feel extremely smart from an honest mistake. Then proceeded to complain about customers like me with the rest of the pharmacy team in full view and earshot. Never going back.

If CVS would like to close for lunch, that’s fine but don’t let me wait in line for an half hour first. At minimum, put up a sign..

They were wrong about my meds even tho the doc said I could get my meds legit costed me 200$ in trying to get an uber driver when the automated messages said my meds were ready to be picked up (I would have made a schedule right if I was given the right info that they failed to give!"
