Ocean State Job Lot

I love this store! In today's economy of soaring prices, they've managed to keep their prices quite reasonable. They carry a large variety of items from automotive to lawn and garden, grocery items to personal care. If you're on a fixed budget, this is a great place to shop.

Great place for pool supplies. Generally, I get in and out quickly. Good prices. I'm past the school aged kids Era, but my friends got school supplies here at great prices.

Haven’t been to Ocean State Job Lots for 7 years. I used to buy my art supplies & socks here. My sister use to get her garden supplies here. Now, there’s a lot of food: dressings, olive oils, pasta & sauces, chocolate, chips, nuts … more than I expected for a close-out store. My guy found a decent pair of rip-stop fabric, multi-pocket shorts in his size for $15. The Crazy Deals are great if you already planned to buy something. Today, the $15 Crazy Deal: buy a $15 backpack, give it to the store, they fill it w/school supplies & give to someone in need. You get $15 back in a store card for use on a return trip. I think it FEELS better than the usual 10% most retailers offer.

Always something cool to find, or a great deal on a discontinued product!

Nice folks work there. Great bargains. I go regularly, almost every week. Once I forgot my change and a young man walked out to my car to get it to me. I’ve always had good experiences here.

This place is in a perfect location.
As someone who grew up going to Joy's department store which once occupied the same building back in the 80's, it's nice to have those nostalgic memories while shopping at Ocean State.
This store is great though. They have anything and everything you could possibly need at great prices!
Plus it's clean and the employees are always friendly.

Always good values and this store must not be as busy as most. There is more product available here than anywhere else. Staff is not always the friendliest and the checkout procedure is strange but the items they have are good deals and good quality.

Great selection of a wide variety of useful food, home, garden, etc items. Love the seasonal selections of garden supplies. There are some specialty food item offered here, that aren't found in many grocery stores.

I love stopping by, if only to window shop but today's visit made my day. Thanks for your participation in Earth Day.

Lots of amazing quality items for great prices! Definitely should be more popular but selfishly grateful they aren't.
The staff is amazing, super helpful and organized. Willing to go above and beyond.
Also. The crazy cards ?!!! How ?! So cool.

Then the heart. You can buy a men's winter coat for virtually free because of the crazy card.
They give the coat to homeless men and you can also now have that money to buy another coat!

I always, like coming here. They have varieties of items. Some items, you never know what will show up. But they do have big selections from bathrooms, to pajama, to regular clothes to baking,to mechanic items, animals, stop by and you never know what you find. I love coming to give me great ideas for occasions. Usually reasonable prices.

Great place for pool supplies, where else can you go for your pool supplies AND your healthy crunchy snacks?

Definitely going to start coming here before camping trips vs. Walmart or outdoor stores. The food selection is awesome for backpackers and everything has great prices. I was also able to get a $130 bathing suit for $25. Awesome hidden gem!

This place is fantastic! There are many imported items.If someone is looking for home items their prices are very reasonable. I always fine something there to help make things around the house easier to do.The children toys are also very reasonable.

Helpful staff and always friendly. It's amazing what this store carries but we head for the food aisles first. After the first few visits we actually bring a shopping list for every item that can't be found in other 1-stop shopping. This is a great store.

Love love love this store sooo much. Can't find deals like this anywhere and they're such good deals!! I really wish they had this where I live. I got a bbq grill cover for $6. They had a lot other stuff I wish I could get but I didn't bring my car so I'm limited! So sad.
