Northstar Academy

I absolutely love NorthStar Academy. I have taken all of my Junior and Senior classes through NSA. They offer amazing flexibility and extensive course options in AP, Honors, and Regular. The faculty is wonderful and although you are learning online, you have a great opportunity to meet your teachers. NorthStar provides great opportunities for students to meet other students through activities, chats, and extra curricular learning sessions. I recommend NorthStar to everyone looking for an online school program. The flexibility has provided the opportunity for me to participate in activities outside of academics and pursue my extra-curricular interests as well. I feel prepared for college because of the organization and time management skills I have gained through NorthStar Academy.

Graduated 2014 here. Teachers are awesome and are willing to help you with everything. The school has given me confidence and they help you achieve a lot in life. I worked weekends while going here so it worked out for me.

NorthStar Academy changed my overall personality. Irfat sir is simply amazing in its teaching skill.

Northstar was great for me cause I had no where to go. Public school system didn’t fail me. I failed them. We all are entitled to our own opinions and I have to say at the time Northstar was a home. But now I am so thankful I got what I learned from the school and that I received a diploma. Northstar when I attended, the things I liked were the afternoon activities and sports we could do, I enjoyed the dances, prom, I enjoyed the teachers who were close to us, the things I disliked was the behavior and problems students had and faced outside of school, I disliked the turn over with teachers, i disliked the way they disciplined when students misbehaved, it was always something going on there. I am beyond thankful for my diploma and I am thankful for the things i am doing now. But what I am doing now has nothing to do with Northstar it’s cause I did it. No college degree, no trade school I am successful cause of me. There are plenty of other graduates who are doing amazing not cause of this school too. Northstar is equipped for students with emotionally disturbed kids, and they advertise that now, kids with challenges and adhd and autism. This is a great school I wasn’t perfect myself I was here like I said cause I needed to graduate. I do thank the school for never giving up on me. I did graduate 8 years ago I’m now 25 and living life positively and responsibly. Northstar is my past and I am glad to see they are still doing great!

I do not want to even give this school one star!!!
They make it seem like they want to enroll and help your kids. Instead they waste your time and not take them in to help them!!! Would not recommend this school.
