We had dinner at this place last night for Valentine's day. The burgers were special. It was my 1st time eating burgers with that taste. I'm not sure if it was just for the day. I will visit again. I didn't like that scan order asking for phone number, email, and all of that while dining in.

I adore this area! I have lived here for over 20+++ years, and it has changed significantly. I am happy to see all these unique stores opening around the community. I have come down here for the weekly saturday farmer's market & local cultural events hosted here. Silver Spring is a diverse community, and it is shown through the art and the people there. Every weekend, you can look forward to a party around the city place mall. There is Tai chi, farmer's market & weekend events happening year round. I love my city and am proud to be a local here. Sign up online or follow downtown silver spring on instagram to stay up to date. That's how I found out about the annual jazz fest, which is a must hear! Recently, our family went down to the annual Thanksgiving parade. It's local, free, and great for family and groups of friends. There is a beautiful mural to walk through from the silver spring metro station entering the city atmosphere, lots of resting areas with artwork. Perfect meeting place for friends and family to get acquainted with some of Maryland city life. Ethnic restaurants, libraries, comic book stores, game centers, movie theatres, ice skating rinks during winter, all your mall shopping needs, and the famous AFI and fillmore Music Center. Yes, you can do a lot of fun things in the center. Please come and visit my city!

Very accomodating and professional. If you bring a backpack or bag that is too big to bring on the floor, they have a voatcheck downstairs you can leave it so all your valuables can stay safe. They make sure you are well taken care of and communicate answers to all your questions very well.

Very clean and attractive! It reminded me of 1st Ave in Jacksonville Beach and the landing/downtown Jax when they have the art walk! So very colorful and well kept!
The scooter rental station was such a great addition! We don't have anything like that in the area I live.

Know what I love about this place? No boundaries!

Well, technically As an unincorporated census-designated place, Silver Spring's boundaries are not consistently defined. Nor is its category. Is it a neighborhood? Is it a town?? Is it a region? Is it a zip code? Is it an area code? Is it Morse code? (OK, it's almost certainly not that last one.) Is it a city? Is it a Metro stop? You Google it. I'm feeling lazy today.

You know what I DO know, though? Silver Spring, MD was the inspiration for Stevie Nicks to write "Silver Springs," which is enough to make it one of my favorite places EVER! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I love this area. Just as expected of a town it is very central with a variety of businesses. There is the mall, parking lot, supermarkets, a movie theatre, subway, and so much more. The area is clean, seemingly safe and it is conducive to small gatherings. Oh and BE sure to try Nando's restaurant- they got some tasty spicy chicken.

I love silver Spring downtown! It's a small downtown but beautiful no matter the season. Summer time kids get to play and have fun . Winter is cold but still fun with a beautiful Christmas tree and decorations. If you like skating, it's the perfect time!

Downtown Silver Spring is a great place for families - especially with small children. There are tons of restaurants, a great closed off area where kids can run, a splash fountain in the summer, a huge Regal movie theater with stadium seating, a Whole Foods, and a great Farmer's market on Saturdays. Also features live music and/or performances most weekends and some weekdays and an ice skating rink in the winter. An easy place to spend hours! What a long way that area has come!

Stopped in McGinty's Pub. Highly recommend! Absolutely delightful. Ot Wonderful Irish music by Wendy and the Lost Boys Band really drew in the crowd. Crowd loved them! Food was excellent (delicious, great portions & well priced), great atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!!! Put this on your places to visit! I give it 5 shamrocks!!

Beautiful square and downtown area! Throughout the summer there seems to be lots of festivals happening. The architecture is absolutely stunning and there is a wide variety of restaurants and shopping for visitors to enjoy. Lots of spots to sit and people watch or relax too.

Attended the Annual Thanksgiving Parade, large crowds and many bands, floats, and numerous participants made it another memorable event. I like how they make free parking available in their covered public parking garages. Safe event, plenty of security on hand, event also televised by local TV station.

Last Saturday morning, I went to the Downtown Silver Spring Farmers Market on Elsworth Ave. It was a worthwhile experience. You could buy so many items. They sell all kind of produce, flowers, dairy, baked goods, liquor, meat, and much more. Plenty of parking. Market stays open all year.
