Safeway

This is a Great store for me because I live on Georgia avenue. Take few minutes to get there and I got them cheap tomatoes. BTW I love the building.

I just have a wonderful customer service experience with Marquecion (sorry, I know I butchered that name). I my member sale price failed to ring up properly at the register and she quickly addressed the problem and corrected it. Thank you!

For big trucks delivery 🚚 plz make wider turn as u can on ((((reedie dr )))))and take your time don’t rush then first lest to Safeway docks also don’t worry about people in the cars 🚗 they r crazy cant wait and have trailer tandem all the way on front

This store is clean, well organized and stocked up at all times. The produce section is well organized with an assortment of fresh vegetables, fruits and Herbs. I bought a Basel plant few weeks ago and it growing and giving us fresh Basel weeks for our pizza and pasta sauce. I enjoy the shopping experience here as it is not crowded, neat and well organized. Staff are friendly and courteous. Free parking. Great produce and fruits

Fabulous, plenty of free parking in garage. And short term parking right out front by the meters. So convenient. Also a thing I noted it's mainly self checkouts that are open rather than the lanes. They will open one if it's super busy. Very clean and nice Safeway.

Great - Smaller than the Giant, but not by much and has everything. Underground parking is much less of an eyesore than the nearby Giant or Kensington Safeway surface lots. More importantly, this is the only grocery store where I've found decent, modern bike parking.

It was late. The line was short. The service was great. Garage Parking under the store is free. This is very important since the main entrance is on a major thoroughfare. There are escalators and elevators to the main store level from the garage. It is very good lighting and is well maintained and clean. There are cashiers and a self checking out area. Security Personnel are very pleasant and helpful. I have received assistance from Managers and Staff. They knew the location of my items. Sometimes they have walked with me to help find items that are located in various locations.

Big fan of the staff here. I visited during the Hispanic Heritage Month event and did not want to leave. Good food, stocked shelves, live music and friendly staff!

The staff are nice and helpful even at 2 AM. The bakery items that are on clearance are great. You can sometimes get a large fresh loaf of sourdough bread for $0.99. However, during peak hours the lines are really long and the store is packed.

Solid grocery store. Everything you can expect from a Safeway. Bonus point for not having rotting vegetables and keeping the area well clean and strong smell free. The location is it's biggest perks so convenient when you commute after work

This Safeway is in a multi-story building. Park (for free), pick up a cart & escalator or elevator to the store.
They have an extensive flower, gift card & greeting card section & it's the first thing you'll see if you enter the store via the elevator.
We shop here often & this is more of a COVID-19 review. Scarce items such as paper towels, t.p., gloves & disinfectants are displayed a@ the front of the store & priced are marked on display signs.
This store is large enough that, though they may be out of your favorite brands, they're very likely to have a decent alternate or two. At Giant & @ a closer. but smaller Safeway, there are empty shelves with odd necessities missing. The staff here is friendly & helpful. In general their prices are lower overall than Giant, discounting sale prices & a few clunkers. When we're planning for a large shopping haul, we pass 3 other groceries, including a Trader Joe's, in order to shop here.

I usually shop late at night when i get off my job. The store is open 24/7. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They could use at least 2 more extra cashiers because therea always a line at night. The staff knows me and my wife and theyre always friendly with us. I highly recomend this store.

If you live in the area, or its on your way. It has a gauzy atmosphere of small privately owned shop, guaranteed quick way in and out. Not accessible for wheel chair, it's on the second floor, and doesn't have huge carts. Guaranteed to get fresh, chicken or sushi....that is appetaizing.

Clean, well stocked store, nice produce. Free parking beneath. Self checkout was closed but regular was fast.

Clean and organized. My cashier was pleasant and quick. Prices were a shock - I'm from out of town so I was comparing them to that. We don't even have a Safeway in my city (FL).

Easy to shop never over crowded they need more cashiers not less.

Convenient, on the corner of Georgia Avenue and Reedie Dr.. Parking which always important to me is available under the building. Staff is friendly. Great experience.
Wish they had a wider variety of tropical fruits like they used to before the rebuild.

Best Safeway with friendly staff and a great selection of items. One warning: their bathrooms are now keycode locked, so you'll need to flag down a Safeway staff member to let you in (they aren't giving out the code yet).

As usual Safeway never disappoints. They also have some amazing discounts. My advice? Get a Safeway card and always swipe it before you pay. You will be amazed at the type of discounts you'll get. Let the shopping begin!!!!!!
