There’s a new customer service manager, Jerome. Best and most wonderful experience at the East-West Highway location this weekend. He’s polite and friendly and makes great recommendations. Very helpful. The best person that happened to Giants!

Giant in Silver Spring. On East Highway. Is a very nice place to shop. The Cashier's are very polite. And the Managers are very Helpful. Keep up the Good Work. Giant Team. Happy Shopper.😊

The Place is Okay, in my opinion, it personally seems as if certain individuals act as if it's kosher to tamper with other human beings, making up and going through any means necessary to rid themselves, County of competition Nationwide, but especially what I've been noticing my time on the East-West Coast? Say like how I've been bouncing around going from place to place spending my last little bit of nothing on things such as food, clothing, and mostly non-alcoholic beverages, yet it's odd how in particular neighborhoods around the Nation's Capital it personally would appear as if the Chocolate City is specifically being cleared out, just like plenty of places I've been in and out of since waking from a coma, some happening to be places I've experienced years before, now something's way different, gone all wrong? (just like this place and others in specific areas

My partner loves the sweet potatoes here. I’m not into giant as I’ve been a TJs person forever, but if she loves I’ll love it too :)

November 2022: more additions like dedicated cheese & charcuterie station, expanded seafood area. Pricewise it starts trailing Whole foods so if you're into organic or niche groceries - may consider.

2022 update - good but pretty busy location. It was renovated in 2020-2021. On-line shopping has dedicated hours so it doesn't interfere with regular shopping. The parking could be a little tight but nothing compared to Whole foods one
Main complaint - store made shift to mostly self checkout lines.

Giant Food Supermarket at Blair Park Shopping Center on 1280 East West Highway, in Silver Spring, is a terrific community asset providing a broad range of fresh foods, vegetables, provisions, and everything a family needs to get through its week. Good parking, good service, reasonable prices and value added conveniences like an in-house Starbucks make this store a difficult option to ignore.

Giant is providing flexible rewards but when I reach over 1,ooo points the link changes as if I am no longer a card holder, and ask me to sign up again and again that way I lose my 1,000 flexible rewards points fix this problem by sending g the right link that has my rewards on the ones I have been sent do not have it my reward of over 1,044 points. Thank you.

This is very specific to the young man who does pick up orders. He makes things so much easier for me when they don't have things in stock and is just such a sweet and kind soul. Quiet yet good at his job. Thank you, young man for making this mom's day a little easier!

Great Customer Service.
The coupons for Cherries & Watermelon would not scan. The cashier called Darly and he figured it out. Giant, when there is a coupon for Cherries corporate has to do better.
I'm glad you have people like Daryl on your team to work it out for those of us who use your coupons.

Giant catered my father's 100 birthday celebration. The Deli staff and Bakery staff at the Silver Spring store were very helpful and the food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the special celebration for my father!

I loved the cleanliness, the very friendly & helpful staff, how quickly we were able to check out. Great Store. Little disappointed that some sale items were sold out. What happened to rainchecks?

I'm very pleased to be able to say that it seems someone has listened to reviews like this, and things have greatly improved in most regards! It's great to be back to normal.......

Giant food has fallen off big time in the last year or so. I have been a loyal customer of this store for 20+ years, and very much hope that the problems I've experienced recently are side effects of the Covid situation, and that I will very soon be able to change this back to a 5 ⭐ review. 😔

Pickup of online orders is so efficient. It's like drive-by pickup -- I hardly slow down the car, the friendly employees throw the grocery bags in my trunk, and off I go :). I rarely am parked for more than a minute to get my car loaded with all my stuff. WOW!

Hardly anything missing these days. And let me tell you -- this location is so much better than the pick up from other locations where they don't bother to give you any meat for instance.

And all of that for $2.95. I can do my online search, and their online database of foods is excellent. The sorting of search results by unit price and by say carbohydrates is amazing (Amazon does NOT offer that). My favorite food pickup ever. And giant does have some great prime rib and what not. The food is not shabby!

This has to be the NICEST Supermarket I have EVER seen! And its HUGE! Great layout, well lit, lots of help. Very full displays. The fruit and veggies were beautiful. The store made lunch selection was large. It was a pleasure to shop here. Cashiers were fast! I wish it was closer to my home.
