Friendly and courtesy .....but for goodness seems like they need more staff or they were tooo slow as compared with a NYC state of mind ...... Fortunately I was able to get my savings .... So I'm a happy camper

Great place but in the last year prices are sky high at the Safeway stores!! Prices are double what you would pay for at other grocery stores.

The Soviet Safeway. Sometimes certain sections are remarkably under-stocked, but I expect that this is because of the incredibly heavy customer traffic from the Four Corners neighborhood. It is the only Safeway (or Giant) for miles around. The store is very, very clean and orderly, from the fresh veggies/fruits to the refrigerated section...all aisles are well-attended. Check-out staff is always courteous and chatty (in a good way). Several folks have been there for at least 4 years (a strong sign of a good employer), and certainly the positive customer assistance culture both feeds on and is created by the longer term knowledge of the staff. This is a small store in a busy area, and I am sure it is a challenge to maintain the store to the high level it has achieved.

This is like the Safeway that time forgot. Most of the hip crowd goes to the Trader Joe’s a hop skip and jump away. This Safeway is not as big as other Safeway’s in Montgomery County and DC. This Safeway does not suffer from “line-it is” — which is an affliction that many Safeway’s suffer from where only seemingly 2 workers at any one time are handling the cashier. The lines move fast here (at least fast by Safeway standards). Reasonably priced stuff but because of the smaller size of this store the selection is not as wide.

This is a store that has all you need for an average day. If I want fancy or different things, I go to TJ, WF H mart, or wherever I need to go. I support local business and I have always been welcomed. The beef is excellent. Dairy section improves constantly with great choices of yogourts. Produce not the best, but depends on the day. Support local.

Things have really changed over the past few years. The shelves are well stocked (I have found spices and ingredients here that I couldn't find at Whole Foods), the staff is friendly and helpful, and check-out is quick. It doesn't have all the amenities (no coffee, no deli), but I can do my weekly shopping here very easily. The meat counter is especially good--excellent prices and excellent quality on everything from brisket to prime rib to chicken breasts.

I agree that they have really improved over the last few years. The staff are VERY nice. The produce is MUCH better, including organic choices. I now order weekly from Safeway for work and this has been going very smoothly. they also have gluten free foods.

I am So Thankful that these folks come in and do a amazing job EVERYDAY. They keep the the shelves stocked and the STORE CLEAN!!! They are all ways friendly and Helpful. I could easily shop at a bigger store with a full Bakery but the reason i come back to this Safeway TIME AFTER TIME is because of the WONDERFUL EMPLOYEES!!!

This Safeway is well stocked
Safe and it's very clean. Though... no hot-bar, salad bar, or fresh cut deli meats- cut in store, but to get in and out. Most of all quick and easy. Good job all very kind and polite staff.

This Safeway has everything that you can imagine. Nice. Neat. Clean. And you can logically fine the products that you’ve always been searching for…. Unique manager specials may be available for the bargain hunters.

Definitely a great place to shop! Employee's are nice & helpful! The store is clean & well stocked. Lines move quickly & their are usually plenty of store associates to help you find anything you are looking for! I definitely recommend stopping by.

Always clean always fresh items posted for sale are installed stock always surprises in the mark down corner of the grocery store great surprises check in it's a great Safeway I go there at least 4 times out of the week

Best pharmacy in the four corners area. It is a smaller store, so no bakery or deli, but a great convenience for the neighborhood when a busy cook realizes he needs a few extra ingredients to complete dinner.

This is a "small" neighborhood Safeway. It is frequented mostly by the community. Always has parking space and you can get in & out quickly. It has a little bit of EVERYTHING!!! Friendly & helpful Staff!!

This Safeway is very nice this store has excellent produce and a great selection of products from great Britain and Australia: And a great coffee selection nice safeway store.

Went looking for fresh fruit for lunch and was happy to see the variety of fresh fruit, cut up in serving containers. Frozen food section is side and diverse.

Mr. Haile is the best pharmacist I ever seen.
All pharmacists working at that Safeway are really highly recommended professionals.
Keep it up, please.

Nice staff, clean store. Small with less selection, but still a great store. Always something good in the 50 percent off section!
