The Papillion Taco Guy

I stopped in for the first time today and decided to try out the 3 brisket tacos and I'm so glad I got three of them. The tacos were amazing and had tons of flavor each bite had me coming back for more. I asked for their hot hot sauce which was some type of African pepper and it just elevated my experience and brought out just the right amount of heat i was looking for. I highly recommend The Papillion Taco Guy you won't be disappointed.

Special of the day was an elote bowl. Basically Mexican street corn with your choice of chicken, pork or brisket. Delicious! We ordered one of each and a chicken taco. The meat is very flavorful and amazing, tender without being dry. The corn was fresh tasting, the sour cream was mixed with lime and the signature seasoning which has really good flavor but I had to make sure it was throughly mixed with the other ingredients or else it was too salty alone for my taste. I can see why it's called taco guy because the chicken taco was something I would get again. (Unfortunately we started eating before I remembered to take pictures.)
This location is basically a tiny store with a counter. There is just enough room to order and wait. There are stools and a small eating counter if you want to eat inside. It was a unexpected sunny day so we sat at one of the two outside tables. We met the "taco guy" himself. Very friendly and accommodating. All in all a fun lunch adventure!

This place is the Home of Yummy & highly Delish food! Seriously, smoked meat taco...uummm Yeah!! I Loved the smoked pulled meat of chicken tacos. But he has smoked beef brisket & smoked pork too.
This is a place, one Must experience to enjoy what true "Yum" really tastes like. 😊

The food is high quality and the hot sauce/salsa was amazing! Brisket melts in your mouth and made the tacos taste even better!

Do yourself a favor and get the smoked brisket taco from Pallion Taco Guy! This ain't your ordinary taco joint, folks. The tender, smoky brisket is like a flavor explosion in your mouth.

And let's talk about the special blend South African hot sauce! It's got that perfect kick, taking this taco to the next level! I couldn't get enough of it, and neither will you!

Only thing missing is a name for the hot sauce. My vote, Hot Scott's Hot Shot!

I wish I took a photo before hand but that won't be needed for this review because you need to stop what you're doing right now and go get you some of these tacos. First off they are just absolutely full of flavor. I got pork and chicken and neither were overcooked or dry. The smoke flavor was there but wasn't overpowering other flavors in this taco. There was more toppings in this thing than my brain could handle. All the flavors just melded together and worked wonderfully. They had this hot, hot sauce they put on the tacos that was just perfect. It was sweet, but spicy. I feel it on my tongue and lips a full 10 min after heating but nothing terribly uncomfortable. I will be back and you should to. I don't understand why there isn't a line wrapped down the block and back because these tacos are absolutely amazing.

Great local taco restaraunt! My favorite is the smoked chicken tacos, they're so tender. They also make amazing homemade cilantro lime sauce and hot sauce

The tacos are amazing! My boyfriend and tried them for the first time and we ate them without breathing! Brisket was full of flavor! Tiffany was super sweet and friendly! Definitely recommend this place (:

Great Food, price is fine, Nice staff. As others have mentioned there isn't much seating. That isn't a complaint, more so something to plan for. You can walk around downtown or take the short walk to the plaza area (where the taco truck used to be!)

Super kind and quick service. We got the hot sauce on our tacos and it was amazingly sweet and tangy with a great after taste. Do recommend!

We tried the chicken and jackfruit tacos. We were completely shocked by how good the jackfruit taco was. Such a good vegetarian/vegan option! Has a nice smoky flavor. They’re not the most traditional tacos but delicious.

The server was also SO kind. We loved her.

The food is absolutely amazing. Wonderful flavor for any taco you get. Their salsa and chips are just beautiful. The Pico de Gallo on the tacos is exquisite, and the signature sauce is amazing. I go often and love it each time. The vibe is awesome. Such cool people and so much fun to talk to. It's definitely worth a try.

I tried this place for the first time today. I had the brisket and chicken tacos and man were they amazing! Flavorful, juicy, and delicious! You have to get yourself to their restaurant. Your taste buds will thank you!

I have tried all 3 meats (brisket, pork and chicken) and the vegan option of jackfruit I recommend all of them. they smoke all 4 and they have such a amazing flavor. the tacos are topped with a sweet chili sauce, lettuce, cheese, Cilantro lime sour cream and then a fresh Pico.

Stopped in to pick up a late lunch. Greeted.as.we walked in and served quickly. The tacos were great. They had fantastic flavor and the hot sauce was just the right compliment . Already looking forward to coming back.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got a chance to stop by and grab some for lunch. I had the chicken and pork tacos. Both were great but the chicken was the best imo. Very tender and the hot sauce was very unique and delicious! Going to try the brisket tacos next
