Chico Feo

A block off the sand and a world away, Chico Feo is one of my favorite spots for incredible tacos and ice cold beverages! The atmosphere is perfect and the staff is so hip and welcoming. Make sure you try the spiked coconut water drink - SUNBOY - with the veggie tacos! Can’t wait to get back to Folly Beach to spend the afternoon here.

My favorite place in the world!!! I recommend the pork tacos and the mahi, the green beans are AMAZING too. Makes me feel like I am on a tropical beach vacation. I love how dog friendly it is and how wonderful all of the staff members are. Couldn't recommend it more! Love you Chico Feo!

Wow! What a hidden gem. I ate here on vacation and am missing it everyday! Simple menu, but SO tasty. For a small beach town restaurant they pack the flavor, customer service and alternatives for us allergy folks (dairy for me). Can’t wait to drive 5hrs back for this place!

Loved the food and vibe here. The Cuban sandwich I had was amazing and the sake lemonade was super refreshing.

Everything about this place is awesome. Open air, beach vibes, good people. Won’t find many spots like this with damn good food and drinks

Cool place in Folly Beach. All outside seating. Bar tenders are friendly and their food is absolutely awesome. The menu changes often but whatever they have on special is amazing.

What a great hidden gem! Everything on the menu is amazing and the atmosphere is homey and relaxed. They have a rolling lineup of daily musical acts in the evening. A daily specials list and a menu that will appeal to everyone! Highly recommended and we look forward to coming back again.

Ran out to Folly for a chill lunch with a buddy and we decided to go to Chico Feo. I got the Cuban sandwich and it was in point. The back courtyard area is nice and shady. We sat at the bar in the courtyard and it was a good vibe. I will definitely be going back and will be trying the tacos. They looked really, really good.

So I lied, I didn’t get the tacos. I got the bean burrito and added pork. So damn good!

What a great ambiance! We stopped for lunch, enjoyed a delicious Cuban sandwich, which was plenty for 2 but did not realize so we had leftovers the next day and it was just as tasty. We prefer NA beer which they did not have but allowed us to BYO(NA)B from the market across the street, which was awesome too. We loved the vibe and will be back!!

If you are in Folly you have to stop by. Very chilled atmosphere, you will be rubbing shoulders with completer strangers that could end up as your best friend by the nights end. Food is superb, especially the tacos and the Cuban sandwich. Bands are great, different vibe each night. So swing by and have fun.

We had the BEST time at Chico Feo this weekend! Harlan and Casey were so good to our group. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. Service was excellent, food was amazing, and the vibe was great! I can’t recommend this place enough & can’t wait to come back on my next trip to SC!

Found Chico Feo after talking with a few local bartenders regarding where they like to go. They did not steer me wrong! This is like hanging out in a friend’s back yard bar. We made two visits here. I would not call this a dive bar but the drinks & food are very affordable. $4 tacos were delicious in which I had the “holy trinity” as the bartender said - smoked chicken, pork, & mahi. Had the opportunity to have 2 of their specials as well - the Churrasco sandwich (tri-tip beef) and Detroit style souvlaki (basically a deconstructed Gyro). Awesome favors. Check the butcher paper on the wall for the current specials. This is a laid back bar with good service. Check it out!

We really enjoyed our meal here. Fresh local ingredients and one of the best fish tacos that I have been served in recent time. Their blistered green beans were amazing. This is a great option if you are looking for casual dining while visiting Folly Beach. Outside dining only.

This was the absolute best part of our trip. Chico Feo was recommended to us by a bartender in Charleston, and we are so glad we listened! Everything about this place just felt like home, and was the perfect way to end our day at the beach. If you’re looking for a good bite, and a good beer, after a day in the sun - this is where you wanna go.

The bartenders are soo smiley and nice TO EVERYONE!!! We came back 2 nights in a row to hang out. Seemed like lots of locals and everyone friendly and welcoming.

Can’t beat the low-key, open-air ambience when the weather is nice & there’s a light breeze to be had! Service behind the bar is fast & friendly. Food menu is very focused, only a handful of items with an ethnic-influence is offered. Everything was fresh & flavorful (& spicy!). My only criticism was a touch of salt was needed to enhance the flavor of the proteins. We always look forward to grabbing a bite & a beer here!

This place is a whole vibe, you gotta check it out. It is the perfect spot for coming off the beach and grabbing a bite to eat and a beer. The tacos are pretty respectable, the people working here are super chill, and it's just dripping with character.

Absolute hidden jem off the main path into Folly Beach! The pork street tacos are highly recommended and were a treat for sure!

The Bulgogi burrito (on special) was delicious! The flavors were complex and complementary. I highly recommend it if it is on special!

Num Pang was also VERY good! Pulled pork and multiple fresh flavors.

This place is definitely one of the gems of Folly, and I will definitely be back!

Had THE BEST Cuban sandwich here. Paired with some cold beer? You can’t beat it. Plus, you can’t beat the atmosphere and location AND amazing service. The only “downsides” are the bugs … granted I always seem to get bit more than everyone at the table, so it’s a little tough to sit near the greenery for me during the evening/night there.

Hands down one of the best places in Folly Beach. The food was phenomenal!! We came in a group so we decided to order multiple menu items. Tacos are a must (Mahi, pork, vegetarian and chicken), black rice and beans, and the Cuban. Chill atmosphere, a local spot. You must go if in town!!
