Julia was an absolute gem. She was very sweet and went above and beyond. Not only was she a stellar host but she also gave me good advice on places to see while I was in town. She had a really busy section and effortlessly took care of everyone with great care. I'm stuck in town due to a broken down car and my Uber drive recommended this place. The food was really delicious and the portions are just right. I have a mahi allergy and the kitchen took great care in accommodating my allergy. The cocktails were also really refreshing. I had the blackened shrimp tacos and lobster bisque soup. I think I'll return before I leave town

Great place with friendly staff and good food. We split the chopped salad, 3 dips with tortilla chips, and a cheeseburger. All of the food was fresh and quite tasty. Loved the "half moon" fries! Our server was so nice and friendly. I wish I could remember the lads name. He had a great sense of humor and anticipated our next needs and wants. Exceptional service and Tasty food.

Great food! Hot fresh, made as ordered, and large portions too. The fries and classic margaritas are high recommended. The menu had quite a bit to choose from, so I would say a good menu for most everyone. (In the photos: Cobb salad- minus a few things, Italian sub, turkey melt, and kids mac n cheese)

Me, my family and even my dog loved this place. Yes, dogs are allowed on the patio! Our Bee Gees look alike server was terrific! Food was tasty and well presented, reasonably priced. Atmosphere included open air fireplace, full bar. Loved the man/woman restroom symbols. Located across street from the pier! Easy walk to beach. Even live entertainment with guitar singer soloist. She exceptionally talented. We had time there.

We got in early for a bachelorette trip and grabbed a bite at Rita's. It is a great atmosphere. The food selection was awesome and the food delicious! I love the drink options as well! I highly recommend!

We went during lunch time in January, there were only a few other tables with people. Our server was super nice, but she was kind of slow considering there weren't many people eating and there were 2 other servers. I'm not sure if she was doing something in the kitchen or not, it wasn't a big deal either way. I ordered the grouper sandwich and it was AMAZING! And their fries are good too! My husband ordered the fish and shrimp tacos and he said they were really good too. I'd imagine this place is super packed during peak season!

This seaside review is for Rita’s Seaside Grill on Folly Beach as it always exceeded all expectations! The BBQ Pork Nachos were a flavor explosion, the Shrimp Cocktail was fresh and delightful, the Oysters fresh and clean, the tacos and burgers are both epic in flavor & quite filling, and the Allen Brother’s Filet was a melt-in-your-mouth masterpiece. The breakfast and brunch menus are also exceptional. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the attentive staff made the dining experience exceptional. Go enjoy a meal made with love at Rita’s, listen to Live Music at various designated times with the ocean breeze and salt air! A must-visit for anyone craving a delicious seafood, brunch or dinner on Folly!

We were lucky to get a table for dinner at 6pm on Sunday during Spring Break with no wait. Our waitress was very helpful and attentive, I’m sorry I don’t remember her name but she’s from Baltimore and really lovely.
Everything we had was good. My son and I split the CHILLED SEAFOOD FOR 2 which is six half-shell oysters, 1/2 lb peel & eat shrimp, colossal crab meat with fresh diced peppers and avocado served with a side of fresh tortilla chips. We ended up ordering an additional 1/2 lb of shrimp. Also ordered by others were shrimp and grits, which were truly delicious and a bacon cheeseburger which was very good and a large portion. I’d go back for the shrimp and grits anytime!

The smoked turkey sandwich is so flavorful!! Just absolutely delicious! The grouper sandwich is perfectly prepared! Kurt was our server and was knowledgeable and friendly.

My family was hanging out at Folly Beach, and we needed to eat lunch. We had family that highly recommended Rita’s Seaside Grill. And it definitely was an excellent choice. Out server was extremely friendly, and service was fast. Everything we ordered was made fresh. I highly recommend the smoked wings and tomato salad! So good. Plus, their drinks are superb. If you are in the area, definitely stop for a bite to eat!

Rita's is the last restaurant I tried during my stay on Folley Beach, and I wish it had been the first. Try Rita's, you'll love it! Last night, I took my son, and he ordered the grouper sandwich. This grouper sandwich was amazing. It really wasn't a sandwich. It was more of a fish and chips plate with three large chuncks of fried grouper held between two broche buns with a long wooden pick. The grouper was excellent, and the fries balanced the meal perfectly. I got the pulled pork nachos, and oh boy, were they good!

This morning, we ate breakfast at Rita's. My son ordered the pancakes and loved them. He especially loved the bacon. Very good bacon here at Rita's! I asked for recommendations and was offered fried chicken and waffles.....not shown on the menu BTW.....and I decided to try it. After one bite, I knew I was going to give it a review on maps, so I took a picture of my dish with a bite missing. The waffles were so good ( I didn't need any syrup on these waffles), and the chicken and sausage gravy was an incredible combination. The star of this plate was the waffles for sure, but it all was amazing. Last night a lovely lady named Valerie took care of us very well, and this morning, I didn't get his name, but our server was a dude from Iowa, and he was great! Sorry to be leaving today but looking forward to our next visit!

I never go to Folly Beach, but took my visiting sister from CT to the ocean and this was easiest. We wanted a snack, so we popped into Rita's. I had never been but I knew a former coworker works there and had heard good things. There was a 10 minute wait for a table but none for the bar and I just wanted a drink so we chose immediate bar seating. It's a cool place, and you can see them working hard behind the scenes. Everyone was energetic and having fun working together, which I love to see.

I wanted the Ginger Hammer but the day was young so asked about the seasonal sour and the bartender was pleased to share the tale on the can. He was a cutie, and the mom and daughter duo adjacent to us at the bar were all about him. Mom was trying to play matchmaker and I think she slipped him her daughter's number, hopefully with a generous tip LOL The atmosphere here is so open and friendly, a real small-town regulars type place but everyone who walks in is welcome to be a regular. If you think you're fancy, they'll treat you fancy, but it's much more fun to relax and laugh and take the ride. You're at the BEACH. It doesn't get any better than this.

We didn't want a heavy meal but were pretty hungry, and the dips trio was the answer we needed. All 3 good. Nothing crazy or fancy, just nice fresh guacamole, competent salsa, and rich creamy queso. The super-fresh crisp snappy chips were the perfect conveyance for these dips to get into our mouths. I need to return to see the love and craftsmanship they put into their entrees, because this app was perfectly executed and generous.

Thanks for making us feel right at home, quenching our thirst, and filling our bellies before we faced the tide. I'll be back, with guests!

We went twice because they have a nice array of options and some good salads.
I recommend the salmon dish.
I would say though it’s probably a little overpriced for what it is - given the proximity to the beach etc.
The servers were really nice.
Sometimes there is live music and I enjoyed it although some people might think it’s loud so consider that.
I bought a t shirt because I thought the design was cool.

This was the best meal we had in Folly Beach since the menu is not just bar food and fried. It is a beach bar atmosphere and very, very noisy even without the entertainment. Hard to have a conversation. The food was well prepared and had good flavor. The selections were better than handhelds and fried foods. My wife had the salmon and I had a pork chop. We thought about going a second time, but, the noise factor turned us off. This is a dog friendly restaurant.

This place is definitely a must go for lunch. The burger was amazing. We were seated in a timely manner, service was great. We got the hummus as an appetizer, I got the cheeseburger and french fry and my boyfriend got the spicy chicken sandwich and french fry super phenomenal.

Fast service despite being busy and lively. Live music was great, food was even better. I ordered the steak dog and it blew my mind and the seasoned fries are perfection. Awesome meal for a good price, 100% would go again

Wooooot! We love Rita’s!!!!! If you get to hit Folly Beach this place is a must. Great food, prices, atmosphere, drinks, etc! We have eaten here many times, shared the BBQ platter, burgers are great, kids meals come on a frisbee! What’s not to love.

After having dinner at a restaurant up the street we decided to pop in to Rita’s and have a drink at the bar. The bar staff was above and beyond friendly. My wife and I shared a bottle of wine and enjoyed the atmosphere very much. We have already made plans to come back and have dinner. When we do, I will revisit and update the review.

We don’t travel this year so we decided to come back on the evening of Thanksgiving to have their special Thanksgiving menu. We sat at the bar, and the staff was amazing as usual. Thanksgiving dinner was fantastic. It was just what we wanted without having to cook for two. Ritas has become a regular on our rotation.

Fun beach eatery. The atmosphere definitely has the right beach feel. The seating inside is plentiful and the service is swift and friendly. The menu will satisfy most who visit. The Halls Chopped Salad is insanely good. The burgers and sandwiches are prepared perfectly and the portions are more than expected. If they have the Chili, order a bowl. We had a little one, 18 mos. who was fussy. Our server saw the situation and snapped into action bringing him a two orange slices from the bar to occupy him. Brilliant move.
Not too loud, not overly crowded by to many tables.
Step out and round the corner to get an ice cream at Bert's Market then head to the pier for a nice stroll.

Highly recommended.
