Coast Guard Exchange

Great store. As an auxiliarist, I appreciated the kind reception.

I recently visited the Coast Guard Exchange, and my overall impression of the store was rather lukewarm. It had a somewhat dated and gloomy atmosphere, and while it stocked a variety of items, none of them stood out as particularly noteworthy.

Upon arrival, I drove right through the unmanned guard gate without any hassle, parked in the small lot, and easily walked into the store without being asked for identification until I reached the checkout counter. Although the convenience of the entry process was appreciated, it did make me question the level of security and attentiveness at the store.

Our intention was to purchase some gift cards, but I found the selection to be quite limited. This left me somewhat disappointed, as I was hoping for a wider range of options to choose from. However, I will note that the store was clean and well-organized, which added a small positive aspect to the experience.

In all honesty, my visit to the Coast Guard Exchange left me feeling somewhat indifferent. The store had a bland and unremarkable vibe that failed to leave a lasting impression. It lacked that special something that would make it stand out among other similar establishments.

While the Coast Guard Exchange maintained cleanliness and tidiness, these attributes alone couldn't compensate for the overall lackluster experience. The store seemed to be stuck in a time warp, not quite keeping up with the expectations and trends of modern shoppers.

If you happen to be in the area and are in need of some basic items, the Coast Guard Exchange might serve its purpose. However, if you're seeking an exceptional shopping experience or a wide selection of products, you may find yourself underwhelmed.

Great place to shop! The folks operating this exchange are helpful, very nice and welcoming. Prices are very good on everything from USCG gear to alcohol. In fact, it's one of the few places you can find USCG gear without having to go online and a pay a premium for t-shirts, uniforms and upgrades to those who have advanced. It's out of the way but, you'll know you're there by the large USCG vessel docked right on the waters edge. Semper Paratus!

Wow! This discounted wine and spirits is AWESOME with military identification. In Total Wines I can spend $200.00 easy and only come out with one bag. Today we spent less than $140.00 and came out with case's...FACTS! Jim Beam (my very special friend FAVORITE is usually close to 20 bucks. Here only 8 bucks same size. When he comes over he will be pleaaaaasssed! Great deals with a beautiful ocean view!❤❣🤗👍💥🙆‍♀

Active, reserve, retired, auxiliary,such a great place to shop. Always friendly. Good prices, special's all the time. CGX rewards. Extra monthly scratch off . Uniform needs. TV, computer and a lil bit of everything for a small store. Never crowded, even busy they get you right away.
