Clermont Cyclery

We've used this repair shop twice now, both for bikes for our children. The chains were falling off, one was a used bike and the other was relatively new. He was able to get their chains back on, fix a few other things that were causing their chains to come off and also do an overall tune-up on the bikes. Very reasonably priced both times as well. Turnaround time was quick, and customer service was great. We'll definitely be back if any new issues arise with any of our bicycles.

Owen, the owner, is very insightful and knowledgeable. He works alone, so during riding season, you can expect a wait of 1 week to 3. That said, the work he does is always excellent, and I'd recommend 10/10 times. Been going to him for 4 years

My husband and I both got punctured tires while on a bike ride and we were able to get our bikes in quickly and he was done the next day. Very knowledgeable and helped us get what we needed and answered all of our questions. Definitely recommend!!

Love this shop and the guy running it. He fixed my son's bike, replacing inner tubes, chain and put on a water bottle holder and a kickstand and was very reasonably priced in fact too reasonably priced. He even cut off an old lock free.He is definitely worth going there for. Very friendly and my son said quote he has great workmanship and his bike rides faster than it ever has! Thank you! ( he's 12 and autistic!, very ocd). This will always be our bike place!

I was here for the NHRA event and brought my bike with me. Went for a bike ride and ended up breaking a spoke. Went in to see if I could get it repaired. The gentleman that was there was friendly, helpful and very accommodating to me. He had the repair done in a couple of hours. Not only did he do an amazing job on the repair, but he tightened the other spokes and trued the tire. Would definitely recommend this business to anyone.

Super helpful answering any and all questions, even the annoying ones, bike is good as new, quick to respond, competitive pricing!

I only have positive feedback in this review. I had not ridden my bike in several years (new fatherhood catches up to you...) but pulled it out of the shed and it was not shifting properly and was kind of gross from all the neglect. The bike came back from a tune-up equal to the day I bought it and Owen even got rid of all the dust. Owen understands that the bulk of his clients are working professionals and is extremely good at communicating pricing and timing and working on your schedule. I really appreciated that when he had a need to reach you he would text (instead of calling) and let you get back to him when it works best for your schedule. Very nice guy as well; you can tell that he is both a biking enthusiast as well as shop owner. I will not hesitate to funnel all my future needs to his shop.

So glad found this nearby shop. Recently purchased E-bike that needed to be assembled. Another shop did that but as I rode it several issues popped up. Owen at Clermont Cyclery did complete inspection, tune-up and fixed all issues. Am very pleased with how well the bike performs now. And he is a super nice person. Highly recommend him

Owen is a true professional. Kind, knowledgeable and willing to share his expertise. 1 time he didn't charge me forva simple job. I had to purchase sone items due to his repeat kindness. I am very happy I met him. Clermont Cyclery is the only bike shop that can receive my money. I highly encourage this shop. Be patient. If are in a rush. You may get a rush job. Owen will meet and exceed your expectations as it relates to Bike repairs, most importantly he is a great human being.

My wife and I bought our bikes at BGI but it’s just not convenient to go there for service if you live on the west side. Our riding has diminished as a result. I happened to be driving down Raceway Rd one day and a bike shop sign caught my eye. It had good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. I’m very happy with the work that was done. The owner communicates well, seems to be knowledgeable and trustworthy, completed the work in the timeline that he estimated, and prices were reasonable. I trusted his recommendations to get our bikes back in working order and I’m pleased with the results. I saw him interacting with others in the shop and was impressed with his willingness to help people even with relatively small problems who don’t know a lot about bikes.

I went in to have someone bleed my ebike breaks and not only was it done faster than expected with easy communication, but they were able to upgrade the breaks to be even better. I definitely recommend coming here for your bike needs!

Called about getting the front brakes on my ebike adjusted, had my bike back on the road within an hour. Stupendous service, glad I found this shop which I definitely recommend.

Great experience! I brought my bike in for some service and also needed a tube and tire levers. Everything was quick, great communication from the owner and prices were more than fair. Thrilled to have a quality shop in the area. I will definitely be back.

We tried to air up bike tires with our little pump and thought the tubes were bad. Owen aired them up, and sent me on my way! Turns out the pump was bad, not the tubes. Honest place, I recommend!

Claremont Cyclery is new as of April 2021. I got referred there by a friend, and had a great experience. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and He adjusted my front and rear derailleurs for a very reasonable price.
The kind of derailleur that was on my bike was discontinued several years ago, but he was very knowledgeable about it and was able to get it adjusted perfectly and give me some tips on shifting.
I had never taken my bike into a shop before, and I was a little intimidated to take it in since it was an old Walmart bike. I didn't feel snubbed or judged, so that meant a lot in addition to the great service.
I would absolutely recommend this bike shop, and I will go back in the future for any other bicycle needs that I have.
