Fantastic shop, great enriching toys. Staff is super friendly and helpful as well. They even have some kitty stuff too! My favorite shop for my pup.

The staff is amazing. I had the best customer service here and I appreciate that they care where they source their products. I would highly recommend bring your dog when you come here. I enjoyed my visit and will be back.

This is an upstanding local businesses that cares about your pet and the quality of products you feed/play/clothe your pet with. The store is small, but full of amazing products that my dog loves. Yes, sometimes the prices are slightly higher than big box pet stores for the same product, but it's worth it to me to support a local businesses that has much more expertise than your average Petco employee. All the food is high quality, and I'd recommend the Up Country dog collars that they sell. I have two for my dog that I switch between (one in the pic), they are easy to wash and are very durable. Go support a local business and treat your pet right at WAG!

Best customer service and products! I have two Boxers that are incredibly tough on toys. Most last just a few days. Was able to find a brand of toy that has now lasted over 6 months and they still love it. Just bought a treat toy that they had options of in multiple types of material. Dogs and the cat are having a blast and they stay busy. The employee helped me pick it out and was very knowledgeable.

We took both our dog and cat today for Santa photos and were thrilled at how kind everyone was, the process was quick and easy, the Santa looked amazing, and everyone was so helpful! They even gave us some samples! (Thankyou!!) The store is really so adorable with lots of wonderful high quality food goodies and cute pet clothes items for our “girls”. We will definitely be coming back and have a new favorite spot! Thanks wag! ❤🥰 🐾

Nice little local store located in the Proctor District. I don't like Box Stores. Obviously limited selection but high quality products for your loved family member. No dangerous junk from China like the chain stores. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Today was my first time in the shop. As we entered we were warmly greeted with some delicious treats for my pup, & my dog can be pretty picky (himself or his stomach😅) when it comes to treats. Diana helped me the entire time and everything I was looking for she had helpful knowledge on each thing. There wasn’t one thing that she didn’t have a tip for! The shop really is set up with the best of the best and I didn’t feel like anything was overly priced for what it is worth. I wasn’t able to get everything I needed bc I’m dealing with some $ issues currently but I’ll definitely be back payday! Oh and she helped me hold an item for that day as well 😊

These ladies care so much. Today I left work early to make it before they closed. I had to get a bag of food before going out of town tonight! There was a wreck on my way and I arrived after their closing time. They graciously let me in and sold me the food! Every time I come here I feel like they genuinely love hearing about our dog! We love this place!

Super cute little shop with a great selection of high-end food, clothes, and toys! It's mostly aimed at dogs (Makes sense with the name, right?) but she carries some nice cat food and treats too. The owner and staff are incredibly nice, and very good at remembering customers. Check out the pet pictures on their facebook page! I wish I could visit more often, but I moved recently and it's a little too far for the cat to walk.

Highest quality pet food you'll find with comparable prices. I love that they have a rewards program where they keep track of the food you buy and after so many purchases you get a free bag. Always friendly and they always give us sample bags of the food we buy as a back up incase we run out. So thoughtful. Love this cute little pet shop!

The only thing I probably need to write is that my dog can't walk down Proctor without stopping at Wag's door even if he has just had the crem de la crem of treats right before - he is addicted and so am I! Not only is the product at Wag amazing, but the service is equally wonderful! I could write a book on both. For the product . . . if you have a picky eater, a pet with a sensitive stomach, or you just want to keep your pet happy and healthy for as long as possible, then this is where you want to get your pet's food and treats! Additionally, this is the perfect place to come for those special days - birthdays, holidays, first play dates - there are adorable decorated dog treat cookies that make such a fun and affordable gift for all your puppy's big days or even if they just happened to be such a "good, good boy" that day. Along with the food, Wag has great gear with lots of style options. Not only do they have lots of fun options, they also have a ton of enrichment games, training items - all the stuff. Finishing this review with how much I adore the entire staff. First and foremost, everyone that works there is so lovely and the icing on the cake is they are incredibly knowledgeable on all things pets. We have a bit high-maintenance pup (or maybe more accurately a high-maintenance owner?) that we have worked through some anxiety issues on and the staff at Wag has been an amazing resource since the first week we adopted him. I could go on and on about how much we love Wag. Walk, run, whatever with your dog there. . . just go!

Amazing!!!! Do not order things on Amazon just bc it’s cheaper and you don’t have to get out of bed. Take the time to go to WAG PET MARKET in Proctor District, Tacoma. Regardless of the amount of time or a difference of a few bucks, nothing compares with small business owners doing what they do for our community. The effort, the amount of care, sound advice, pure amazingness, cannot be compared to getting a box delivered to you at home!!! SHOP LOCAL!!!!

Really enjoy shopping here. I prefer to shop local but sometimes find that the experience isn’t worth the inconvenience; however, this store makes me appreciate leaving my house to support local business and I always find things that I don’t find online and that my puppies really appreciate and enjoy

Very nice store, competent and knowledgable on pet needs, nutrition and experience. I will visit this location for future pet needs -- more than Petco or PetSmart!! Local neighborhood keeping it local and sustainable.
