This resort is one of my favorites. The actual grounds are breakdown beautiful and there's all the amenities toy could ask for at an RV park--- a playground for my kids, a pool, trails, a little store, laundry, you name it. Plus it's quite close to the entrance of Yosemite National Park which was a huge draw for us, but also it was very close to the nearest town for any grocery or playground or restaurant needs. My family and I agreed that we'd love to come back here on our annual trip!

We recently visited the pines RV resort.

we are very pleased by the great location and proximity to our familywho live in the area . also "Jonathan" the gentleman that works there and lives on site for the winter season was a wealth of knowledge and just a stand up great person in general.

The lady working the cashier machine in the store was equally as great with tons of knowledge and pamphlets for things we could do in the area.

we really appreciate the professionalism at the park and felt very free to do as we please and enjoyed all the amenities

My family and I camped here on a tent site for three nights to visit Yosemite national park. It was a pleasant experience. The campground was nice without many flies (some annoying honeybees tho) and there were many beautiful birds you can easily see. The campsite was not big but it's not an issue for us as we spent most time in the national park. In addition, they provided good restroom and shower. Though we didn't use their swimming pool, it looked nice.
Overall, if it's okay to drive 1 hour to visit Yosemite national park (30 minutes to the entrance), it is a good place to stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Yosemite with our RV and had a good experience. We checked in after office hours, but there was a note on the office door for us. Our campground was spacious and our neighbors very friendly! The restrooms and showers are clean, as is the pool area. They have a campstore with some basics and a deli. The road to the campground and then to Yosemite is curvy and hilly. The park itself is about an hour and 15 minutes away from Yosemite valley. Route 120 is open (we stayed the second week of June), so you can take the most direct route into the park.

Big camp with a great convenience store and friendly staff at registration. Restrooms and showers are clean. Very happy memories where we had good BBQ, nice music, and great company by many families with lovely kids. Short drive to Yosemite, so plan ahead and go there early (7am) to avoid long waiting time!
Oh I almost forgot to mention, we had beautiful little blue birds coming over for popcorn. They ate the popcorn with elegance!

We stayed 6 nights in a 40' 5th wheel. This is about as close as you can get to Yosemite without being inside the park. The weather was great and the RV part of the campground was moderately full. The sites are fairly level but the whole park is built on a mountain so everything is on an incline. Even though the RV App said the unit was level, we could tell it was just a bubble off. It didn't bother me. The sites are gravel with a picnic table and fire pit. No fires allowed while we were there due to fire danger. The bathrooms are a bit dated but they were clean. They have a store that carries a few items but if you need groceries, you will have to go to Groveland, about 3 miles. The park has a lot of other non RV camping facilities they rent like cabins, Yurts, Chuck Wagons, Vintage RVs, etc. They have a pool, a deli, and laundry facilities.
I would give anyone a recommendation to stay here as it is a clean, well managed park and they staff was friendly. It is a bit tight for big rigs, but it isn't the worst I've been in. We would definitely stay here again.

I’m only reviewing one aspect of Yosemite Pines, but I think it speaks volumes and puts it on my list as a top option for the future. As a modestly frequent visitor to Yosemite (anywhere from 2-4x per year), I come through the Groveland area frequently, and I’m always looking for new campsites and places to stay. In this case, I incorrectly made reservations for Yosemite Pines for an event held somewhere else, which would have been an unpleasant surprise for me when I arrived. I had put some notes in my reservation, the Yosemite Pines management read the note, saw my mistake and reached out to me to double check. I was able to cancel my reservation other than a reasonable $10 fee, which saved me double booking and/or missing my event due to my mix up. Friendly and helpful management is the best indicator of the experience you can expect, and this was above and beyond. Between the first impression of the management and the great location – quiet and peaceful but a hop, skip and a jump from stores and restaurants in Groveland, which is a really cool spot – this is definitely on my list for Yosemite area options. Highway 120 is currently closed (as of mid-June’23), which I noticed has led to some bad reviews, but that’s hardly the fault of the campsite, and the road should be opened again soon. I’ll update my review once I get rescheduled and spend some time here.

This place was awesome! About 48-miles from Yosemite National Park!! Park was very clean, lots of rentals cabins, yurts, campers, you name it they pretty much got a rental for you! If you are going to the park, highly recommend leaving by 6am or you will not get a parking spot in Yosemite!! Cheers! Follow us for all our adventures on Facebook and Instagram!

Rustic camping a short distance from Yosemite NP. Small town with groceries and a couple restaurants.

Great place to take a quick vacation. The bathrooms were always kept clean, most staff was friendly with the exception of a few, and offers great anemeties like a petting zoo. The pool and the deli were closed for the season but it was super quiet and serene. Yosemite was about a 35 min drive to the entrance but once you are there it's a long drive to see anything nice like the waterfalls. We are definitely going back! We rented the basic cabin.

We spent three days at this site and truly enjoyed it. The place is pretty big and easy to access. The staff is extremely friendly and the facilities are good. It is about one hour from Yosemite Valley - good driving conditions.

The cellular service is limited. Although you can buy the wireless connections, it only works well at certain area - however, it may be exactly what we need. My son needed to take an online exam during our trip and he managed to complete it successfully.

There are enough shower places and the swimming pool is cute. You just cannot beat the location. We will definitely come back in the future.

Fantastic RV park and wow what a location.
My son and I stayed here in early May which felt a touch out of season, but was still absolutely delightful. The park is completely stunning, quiet and very well located. The staff are more than helpful and I'd happily recommend the park to anyone.

Haven't been in over 10 years, and it's such an easy and affordable stay. The location is perfect- peaceful and quiet- and close to amenities and the park.
It's so nice to find something nearly unchanged so long in between visits.

We stayed there in March 2022. The park was beautiful, quiet and the staff attentive. This campground gives you a state park feeling but with full hookups not like others that feel like a parking lot.It is located about 25 miles from the entrance to Yosemite and about 1.5 hour from Yosemite Valley. We had a family emergency and needed to leave early and they were kind enough to refund our unused nights. I hope to visit again.

Great place. Cheap nightly rates for being so close to a National Park. About 20 miles from the West Gate and Hetch Hetchy entrance. We had a nice hillside back in space with full hookups thst was easy to back in and was secluded behind a few trees. Petting zoo was free and open at 9am and 4pm during feeding. Pool is cold but feels good once you get in for a few minutes. They have a little store with stuff you need. Washer and dryer were cheap. Deli is closed Monday and Tuesday.

Perfect family oriented location with lots to do. We stayed in our RV but a friend of ours was in a cabin and another group was in a yurt. They were pleased with their accommodations and the units were clean and well kept. The only thing that was weird was all of the cabins had TVs, but there was no cable. If guests had known to bring DVDs they could have entertained the kids. It was raining and snowing at times so our group was indoors more than we would have wanted. However, there was a nice nature trail surrounding the camp, a playground, and a petting zoo so we were outside enjoying these areas weather permitting. Close to Yosemite too except the road was closed during our stay due to recent storms that caused down trees. The town is quaint and nearby if you need provisions. Lovely stay!

Great RV Resort if you are looking to visit Yosemite located roughly 25 mins from the park entrance. We stayed in section B, camp site was clean, had propane fill and decent restrooms. Facility can use some work on the store and cleaning the weeds from the playground. We will definitely be back.

Stayed here in late March to visit Yosemite National Park. Great location. Beautiful Park. We were warmly greeted after hours by camp hosts Amy and Todd who were SO helpful and friendly. Separated from other RV's a bit more than your usual cramped RV parking lot. Petting Zoo. Regular camp bathrooms - bring your shower shoes. Would definitely stay here again.
