Groveland Motel

This little gem couldn't have been a better experience! We were stuck without a place to sleep for the night and all the hotels were in the $200 range. We were able to get a tent site with the tent and air mattress already set up in the $20 range and slept under the stars in Yosemite. Could not recommend more highly! Oh, and there was wifi!

well yes small but clean friendly . We had to leave our home due to work and this place took us in after all others where closed. So water was supper hot. I thank them for the extra cleaning and being open during a time of concern of people's health.

Groveland Motel is a hidden treasure just outside of Yosemite National Park. Don't be mistaken about it: It's a low-budget, low-thrills motel. If you understand this and accept it for what it is, you can reap the rewards of an inexpensive nights stay within an hour of Yosemite and Hetch Hetchy. This isn't luxury. This is a warm (heated) or cool (air-conditioned) night's rest and a shower that is across the street from a decent grocery store, restaurant, and liquor store.

We loved this place, we reached here from Yosemite at mid night. The manager welcomed us and we stayed in a beautiful motor home. Worth for the money spend.

We had to make an emergency trip back to Yosemite and were happy to find a room at Groveland Motel. The front desk staff member was very accommodating and waited up for us until we arrived at 11:30 pm. The room was simple and clean, but the shower had amazing water pressure - I don't think it was a water saving shower head. Good value for money.

Loved this place. Quiet, Cozy, Nothing like being right in with Mother Nature.Thank you very much to the owners & their family for allowing us (Auntie Becky & me) to enjoy our stay here. I want to come back ...I will come back to this place, my new little hide out. I loved, loved it. One must go to PJ's for coffee & the Best Breakfast Sandwich ever right across the street from my new go to get away place The Groveland Motel .. Thanks.. Matt, Leah, her family & especially my girl Becky this was a great stay !!!!
