Was there for the grand opening. Specifically looking for North Country smokehouse bacon. One of the only places you can actually get it. I love that you can use your Amazon account to checkout and if you have an Amazon card you can get the discount. If you don’t know Amazon bought out Whole Foods a while back. This is the closest one to me in St Pete. Next is the one in Tampa. But I found my bacon and will be back. Their selection was looking good during the opening and packing was spot on. There was a lot of people there but checkout was fairly quick considering. It should be even better after things go to normalcy. There is also a pickup spot so you can order online.

Brand new. The store is spacious. Parking is amble. There are lots of spaces behind the store as well. Yummy samples. Lots of cooked, an prepared food. There are lots of tables and chairs inside and outside to sit cafe style. Microwaves and toasters to heat up your food.
If you register online you can pay by a wave of your hand. Beautiful store!

This store is really nice and clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Food area and salad is better choice than publix. They should add beef meat options considering their price per lbs. Here's a little video glimpse of the inside .enjoy!

As expected, a lovely store with everything in perfect order. Overflowing amount of employees. For now. Choices galore. Keep an eye on the app for sales and of course use Amazon prime for best pricing.

Most Whole Foods are pretty much the same with the same stock. What system apart is the customer service. Ty and Ken in the fish department were amazing! I was blown away by the knowledge they had of the different types of fish and the best ways to prepare them. Great service and great people are what make a great shopping experience!

Great products. Clean store during grand opening. The alfalfa sprouts are delicious with avocado in a freshly baked pita pocket. The white pizza with extra mushrooms smelled so good I consumed half the pizza in the parking lot.

Was there for the grand opening! Super nice staff. Offered folks free coffee and pastries that were in line! Handed out coupons and bags as soon as they could so people who wanted to leave could do so! Nice store layout, everything was fresh, clean and organized. Good amount of parking space and finally don’t have to hike to mid town to shop at WF anymore!

Opening Day was a success as the store was well stocked, though I felt it was a scaled down version of other locations I have visited. I was happy to receive discounts from my Amazon Prime account and the staff was well trained and super helpful at check out. Parking, and entering and exiting on 38th Ave felt a bit tight - but I guess that's the case with any popular place in St. Pete. Overall I'm very happy to have a Whole Foods Market just a few minutes from home.

I had a fantastic experience with the prepared foods department, they went above and beyond to provide a last minute order and reached out to me multiple times with updates regarding my order. The manager was so pleasant and accomodating, everything about the experience was fanbtastic. Even coming in to pick up the order, the employees I interacted with at Customer Service were so lovely and engaging. So impressed with this store and especially the employees in the prepared foods department.

So glad WF opened in St.Pete, went to opening & was amazed at the space, also have noticed they are making progress in most all areas at a good rate for a brand now store in this era of demanding labor needs. They had been short on personal check out but improving. New prepared foods are expanding a bit slow but catching up. Organic food is growing in demand and price, if you watch and sometimes wait for sale items you can do ok. here on most of you needs. I expect to pay a bit more for quality wide selection organic foods and am so glad its here!

This is an Amazing Store. I live in Michigan but I was recently in Florida. I accidently forgot my credit card at the self check out. They did not find my card but when I called the store the Store Manager was incredible. He was totally professional and very kind. I will never forget that. He has relatives in Michigan too.

Much smaller store than their Tampa store, which translates to fewer hot & cold food bars. But they did have plenty of their wonderful classic chicken salad. The store is very nice & there's plenty of parking.

Just a quick visit, a very nice store, a good variety of products, some fair prices but also some outrageous prices and unfortunately that's what a lot of people are looking at these days. You have 2 Publix supermarkets within a short distance, a Fresh Market, and a Trader Joe's a few minutes drive away, but just looking at some of the items I buy in Publix (where a lot of people think prices are high) Whole Foods were even more expensive.
I'll go back as they have some items you won't find everywhere, and I want to check out the Prime discounts, but not for everyday shopping

Wonderful Store!! Just recently saw that it was open and stopped by, everything is fresh and new here. I absolutely love the interior of this place and everything is easy to find. Will be back here soon to get the freshest veggies!!

Beautiful new location. Great representatives of the brand. Smaller than the tampa and countryside locations. Carried and helped me find an item that I love that is hard to find elsewhere. Recommend!

SO GLAD to have a Whole foods near home without driving to Clearwater. Deb at self checkout is SO NICE and helpful. Everyone there is really nice but Deb stood out every time we go she's always there with helpful hints and advice. We will be back for sure. My husband's already been weekly. Lol

I've been waiting so, so, sooooo long for what seemed like it would never happen: for Whole Foods to decide to open a store in St. Pete. FINALLY, it's here! I never take time off work but I took the entire day off for the Grand Opening, and I've since been back (this past Sunday--I was the first car in the lot *lol*) to have a chance to not only shop in earnest but to scrutinize and STUDY everything. The store is HUGE, so that took a while, and here's my verdict: what a gorgeous, beautiful, thoughtfully curated store! Here are the things that I most appreciate thus far: I love that they have a large selection of LOCAL products, and that they have very clear labeling telling you that, which makes it easy to choose to buy local, and so many of those products are the most awesome, which brings me to my next rave: they have many products that contain only high quality, pure ingredients that live up to the literal name, whole foods, and that do NOT contain any junky additives, preservatives or fillers. I am wheat-free and honestly was disappointed that they do not have wheat-free pizza in their store-made prepared foods section (but that section is AMAZING, huge and wonderful--shout out for the baba ganoush!), and that they actually have no wheat-free or gluten-free items in their (beautiful!) bakery. However, they do have, for example, wheat-free breads in their refrigerated breads area, and they do have a good selection of wheat-free pastas in the dried pasta area. I LOVE their butcher/fresh meat area, and was especially grateful for, and impressed by the quality of, their grass-fed ground beef. Their fresh seafood counter is dazzling and they have WILD salmon, which looked absolutely gorgeous (but was a tad too pricey for me to afford--I told them, as soon as I win the Powerball, I'll be back for that *lol*). Even though some things are expensive, as one always hears about Whole Foods, I hasten to add that other things--such as the aforementioned FRESH, GRASS-FED ground beef ($7.99 per pound), are surprisingly affordable! They also have excellent quality frozen grass-fed ground beef patties, which are large, come 4 to a container, and only cost $8.99, which I also think is a very good price. Their produce area has a great variety of very fresh, beautiful vegetables, fruits, and amazing and pure juices. Their cheese area has wonderful offerings, such as this exquisitely high-quality, Spring goat gouda (!!!), and the Whole Foods staff member whom I asked "Do you have goat gouda?" (because my friend, up in Massachusetts, who is an experienced Whole Foods shopper, told me to make a beeline for that *lol*) was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helpful, not only guiding me to the goat gouda, but telling me all about it, what region of what country it is from, what it is like, similar to if you were at a wine tasting and someone very knowledgeable about the wine was telling you every nuance about it! Which brings me to: their staff is AMAZING--so "helpfulness-forward", which is a phrase I just now had to invent to describe them! Like, on Sunday, I was standing in an aisle, just studying some items, and an employee was cleaning up some water or something from the floor, but even though he was busy doing that, he asked "Can I help you with anything?" I was like, well, now that you mention it, I noticed in a whole other aisle that there is a spot for the WF salted organic tortilla chips, but there were none out there... "Oh, I'll go see if we have any in the back, I'll be right back!" He dropped what he was doing, went to check, and emerged a bit later with a huge carton full of these organic tortilla chips, saying "how many would you like?" Remember: I had not even asked this fellow for help, yet HE asked me--when he was in the middle of doing something else--if I needed anything/had any questions. And this has been my experience thus far with all the staff/employees there--SUPER friendly and helpful! I would rave on, but Google only allows a certain length: FIVE STARS, and I'm so glad you are finally here, Whole Foods! <3

I always enjoy Whole Foods visits due to their impressive varieties of food that you can't get anywhere else. This one was no exception, and we found what we were looking for.
