Beware of the swarming gnats! ...but hey, it's summer in July in Virginia. Real quick, the best part about the camp is the hiking. And i mean going up trails that you can climb in your tennis shoes. Also on the camp property there is a secret spring where you can dip your bottle in and have a cool refreshing drink of natural spring water. It doesn't get any better than this. Christ centered teaching is a must and they have it. Great food, and the family camp cabin was rustic and dusty, but roomy and relatively cool during the evening slumber. It even has a bathroom and electricity. The new bath house is wonderful. The staff is kind and courteous. I'm wanting to go back and take other families with us. See you there!
