VISITED SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2023
This way a great find. Definitely selected because of the positive reviews! I got a cup of Joe, my daughter ordered an Iced Chai and we split a au bon chocolate and morning bun. Ironically, these items are similar to what is sold at our local coffee shop!
The service was like a well oiled machine. Each employee had their duties and did them well! The atmosphere was pleasant and energetic. We enjoyed the decor as we ate and drank and people watched. Looking forward to visiting again tomorrow as we head out of town!

We happen to be in the best coffee place in Luray city downtown. Staff makes good effort to serve you well. The view from its deck is pleasant and makes you sit long hours. Make sure you arrive before 3:00 pm as most coffee shops close around that time. A stroll next to creek is a bonus.

This is a quintessential coffee shop. The people running it are nice and friendly. The place appears exactly what I envisioned a coffee shop to look like. The coffee was pretty good. I would know, because I drink it black. They have snacks to go with the hot beverages m, which is nice.
They even had someone who was inside enjoying their coffee while they were working on their laptop computer.
There is parking on the street, just don’t park on the bridge…

We just love this place, the food is exquisite and the drinks are great too. The decor is eclectic and has nice views on the water stream. Service is great too. The salmon dill on a sourdough with secret spread is the by far the best with layers of taste that unfold with each bite. Recently we tried the hummus with beets sandwich and it was phenomenal. Anything tastes delicious at this place. Great chef and execution. Very friendly staff.

Such a great food and coffee experience. The coffee here is excellent and freshly roasted.

The food (I ordered almost 1 of every toast) is well thought out and seasoned and balanced. The toast is worth the trip-even if you don’t like coffee.

We wanted to stop for a quick coffee & breakfast before heading to the Caverns. Such a great decision. Everything about this place was perfect. Coffee was a 10/10. I branched out with their country ham & biscuit sandwich topped with brie cheese, apricot mostarda & drizzle of honey. I was throughly pleased.

Such a little gem! Excellent quality coffee. Had an amazing iced almond milk latte and tried the iced mango tea as well. Love that they have rishi tea! In the pastry case they have gluten free, vegan and other allergy-friendly options. The gluten free Nutella cake was INSANE. Definitely coming back! Highly recommend.

Nice quaint place. Perfect for breakfast or lunch. Their coffee’s and tea’s were excellent. My wife and I split a spicy tea latte and it was delightful. They also sell their own brands of coffee from all over the world. So if you are a coffee drinker, I am sure you will definitely have your choice here of great coffee. We went on a Sunday and they were very busy. I think this place is one of the only places open on a Sunday in downtown Lurray. The line was practically out the door. It did take a good 15 minutes to get our order placed. I can tell you it was worth the wait. If you want to avoid the lines you may want to get there when they first open. We got there around 9 am. We ordered the Roasted corn and Sweet potato toast. It was a great choice. Every bite was savory and yummy to the taste buds. I originally wanted the Breakfast biscuit Sammy but they said they had sold out of all their egg and biscuit products. While I was initially disappointed, it did not last long because as soon as I took my first bite of the Roasted corn and sweet potato toast as I wrote earlier in this review it was just heavenly. I would recommend this place. Customer service was friendly, and the food was yummy. That’s all I have for this review. Would recommend this place. It is worth the wait.

Brace yourself for an epic coffee escapade right on the outskirts of Shenandoah in this delightful small town. The staff is the epitome of professionalism. My wife and I usually stick to drip, but the lattes were a symphony of flavors, crafted with precision and passion, satisfying even the most discerning coffee aficionado's palate. The pastry selection – a tantalizing array of indulgence that perfectly complements the rich coffee experience. If you have a penchant for extraordinary coffee and a cozy ambiance, look no further. This coffee haven is an adult's dream come true, and I guarantee it will leave you yearning for more. Cheers to this hidden gem and the oasis of culinary delight it offers amid the serene wilderness – a true coffee connoisseur's paradise.

Absolutely amazing coffee and breakfast! I am a super coffee snob and this place is definitely one of my favorites! The atmosphere is perfect- everything you would expect from a local coffee shop. I am a huge fan of buying local, and this coffee shop does not disappoint! I highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area!

Nice space, good seating, nice vibes and good menu options. Got a hot matcha latte with a shot of lavender, it tasted nice. Also got the blood orange olive cake, it was great, not too sweet and the oranges tasted great

Really friendly and nice staff, great espresso AND food. The toasts and biscuits tasted fresh and quality. It’s a modern space with comfortable furniture for studying or social hangouts. The view on the porch outside is nice too. Bathroom is clean

My new favorite Cafe! 😍 I loved everything here, from the ambiance and decor, to the beautiful and delicious dirty Chai latte. The tomato jam on their breakfast biscuit Sammy is particularly delightful.
I look forward to trying more of the breakfast treats on the back porch next time I visit.

Broad Porch Coffee was provided to us in our airbnb in Shenandoah. We drove to Luray to check out the coffee shop ourselves! We had light and medium roast coffee, cold brew and the sourdough toast. Everything was delicious! Loved the atmosphere of this coffee shop.

Great little coffee shop. Their decaf is GOOD (I did a decaf cappuccino), as is their espresso blend. They roast it themselves in a spot right around the corner. I also had the Appalachian Cuban toast and it was delicious--great balance between the salty meat, sweet-tangy apples, cheese, and mustard sauce. The place was also super clean and the staff friendly.
