Some of the most breathtaking views I've ever seen! Enjoyed a tasting of all varietals w/ a little cheese 🤣 You don't know what you're missing!

Fantastic mountain views! Great wine selection, the rosé was our favorite. Great indoor and outdoor seating options. Make your own flights available. Live music, yard games and pool available make for a great atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping here.

Castle Vineyards is a lovely treat when in Luary, VA. You will be met with a grand view of rolling hills, local cattle and a sweet house dog named Duke. Owner Jeremy, has great enthusiasm for his passion for wine. I left the tasting with a bottle of the Chardonnay. During my visit, there was a couple enjoying a weekend getaway from their small children from a town 4 hours away in VA, myself visiting from NYC , and a mature group of male Penn State students, so visitors come from far and wide. I would recommend this tasting experience as a must see stop when in Luray. Jeremy is also more than happy to pass along information as a local, should there be anything else you may want to know and see in the Shenandoah Valley. Pics Below.

Been about 2 years since our last visit. Really love them new tasting room. Staff was super helpful and friendly. We enjoy almost all their wines but the best is the Red Barren, cold on a hot day. Highly recommend. Kid friendly!

Great little winery near Luray Caverns! Now has a wine tasting Room built last Oct. 2022 did have it as part of their house prior. Dog friendly ,kid friendly. Pool table checkers cards. Corn hole outside. Beautiful view of the Mountains of Shenandoah Valley! Not disappointed. Wines are from local vineyard exclusively. So glad we stopped. it was very busy on a Sunday when we stopped

Very interesting setup in their home. I was a bit confused and concerned when we arrived but the staff was welcoming and friendly and the wine was delicious! Nice seating area outside and in the basement.

Beautiful setting within the valley of the South Fork Shenandoah River. The wine tasting experience was very authentic and relaxing as the location is comfortable. My wife and I still use the free glasses included as momentos to our experience.
It is also only 10 to 15 minutes from Luray Caverns. Enjoy!

Owner is a very nice guy, chatted with us about the area, his life, the wine. The wine (from Barren Ridge Vineyards) was the best I’ve had from Virginia. We all got wine flights of 4. He sells the wine on the weekends, the house and yard is beautiful. This is a very modest business with lots of nice outdoor seating, swings, cornhole, and the cutest pups. There’s a downstairs, too, but we went outside. Not pretentious and lots of fun.

We love Castle Vineyards , personally the smaller wineries. You get to talk with the owner, share info, hear the history and any info you may need to go visit lursy. We enjoy great wine in the country with great views. I prefer over the large crowded ones you can't enjoy conversations, sit back relax. Sure it's someone's home, but I knew that googling it the first visit we went. We love going there. Try to visit yearly.❤

Really fun experience. Brenda, the hostess/tasting guide, is an absolute dear. She really made us feel welcome, and interacting with her really added to our time here! The white wines were really interesting and yummy, and the red wines were varietals I had never tried before!
We had a blast sitting on the front porch watching the cows and rolling hills. Heaters were provided to knock off the chill. Highly recommend!!
Wines range from $20-40
Wine tasting was $10
Pre-packaged meat and cheese plates $5

Jeremy is very passionate about wine. He is a nice guy and easy to talk to. The wines are great. We bought a few bottles. My wife and I loved the views and setup. Lots of places to sit outside, 2 bar areas inside, and a great place downstairs. Downstairs include bathroom, ping pong table, pool table, lots of places to sit downstairs. We will be back!

Just a nice little spot to enjoy some wine, play some games and just be. There was a little chill in the air, fired up the gas table and enjoyed ourselves outside. The service was super knowledgeable and contributed to a great afternoon.

Castle Vineyards is a great place to get away and relax at a secluded location with a lovely view. Its a little confusing when you drive up to a farmhouse, but when you walk in the front door you feel welcomed by Jeremy and his rescue dog Duke. The wines they have are all quite good, and hanging out on the porch enjoying the view makes for a great time!

Castle Vineyards was fantastic! They partner with a winery about 2 hours away and offer wine tasting. We weren't sure we were at the right place at first, but yes! It is that place that looks like just another house on the block. The wines are great and the yard games out front are a great touch.

Loved the experience. Jeremy was a great host, the wine was delicious, and loved spending the afternoon outside by the fire pit enjoying the views. Duke the dog is a great welcome and will keep you company!

Castle Vineyards is a wonderful place to spend an hour or an afternoon sampling wines and appreciating the gorgeous mountain landscape! Love that the tasting room isn’t so big that it feels impersonal. We spent a good hour talking to Jeremy and petting Duke. Be sure to ask Jeremy the story of this place - he built it himself! Will definitely be back!
