Watch & Warrant Restaurant

Me and my wife went here to eat for lunch, the interior design made it seem pricey but It was quite affordable. We both got hamburgers which we're the best we've ever had and we're both hamburger people. our server was the bartender and he was a very polite and kind gentle man. the whole place had a really cool aesthetic. overall we are going to go get here a lot even if it's an hour drive and it made for a great memory on our honeymoon.

A neat little gem of a place in the center of Luray, VA. The decor is very reminiscent of the 1930s with art deco touches everywhere. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was sublime. I have the beef tenderloin with truffle butter and brussel sprouts and mashed sweet potatoes as my sides. My wife had the shrimps with cheese grits with brussel sprouts. To start we had the mushroom gnocchi which was amazing and so was the French onion soup. We had no room left for dessert.

Delicious food with flair. I had prime rib that was herb crusted, with fingerling potatoes (yum! perfectly seasoned) and the slaw (because is a veggie 😋). Hubs had The Wreck which was great but last time he had the fish and chips which he said was amazing. Wish it was a little closer to home so we could visit more often.

We are at Watch & Warrant last night for the first time and had an excellent experience. Our server, Missy, was phenomenal. When we first sat down, the folks at the table behind ours were ordering dessert and seemed upset that they were out of the cheesecake. Missy was kind and apologetic despite the patrons' continued disappointment.
Our food and drinks were great. My husband ordered the steak frites and I had the steak medallions Oscar. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The restaurant is just over a year old and a despite a rocky start with their original chef, their new chef who commutes 5 days a week from Richmond seems to have really turned things around. Watch & Warrant is definitely worth a visit if you're in Luray!

One of the best meals and dining experiences I have ever had! The service was top notch with superb recommendations and reheating tips. Every single item was a unique flavor explosion and seasoned to perfection. Try the fish and chips. TRUST ME.

Happened upon this place today and decided to stop in to grab lunch. So glad we did! Beautifully decorated and everyone was super kind, personable, and calm (is that even a thing in restaurants 😅). The fish and chips were AMAZING, don't skip them! Can't wait to return to try other dishes.

Stopped in for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The whole space is eye-catching, and the back bar is beautiful. French dip sandwich and fries were delicious and served piping hot. My parents had shrimp and grits. Delicious. I've never seen more shrimp in one serving of this dish. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but the quality and presentation made up for it. Will definitely recommend and be back.

Very classy restaurant on a corner of main street in the Norman Rockwell-esque town of Luray. The food and service is great and the multi-level building offers various seating options.

Had the most wonderful experience with this restaurant. My husband and I were visiting luray For our wedding anniversary And wanted to find a nice place for dinner. After reading the reviews online and looking at the menu we decided on Watch and Warrant. We made reservations for tuesday night and We were greeted immediately by friendly staff and taken to a table upstairs by the window. Our server Missy was wonderful and super sweet. We had great service from her. We had the Korean Sweet Chili wings and the When Pigs Fly appetizers. Both were absolutely delicious and had great portions. Both super tender and the sauces were spectacular. For dinner, we had the Woodsman Pasta and Shrimp and Grits. Both were some of the best dishes we have ever tasted. The drinks were good too as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant is super nice. Its decorator is very cute, and the bathrooms were awesome as well. I give this restaurant a 11 out of 10. I recommend it to anyone Traveling through the Luray area for a nice dinner it is a such a cute place. I really hope this restaurant does well For years to come!

Loved eating here. We ate the bone marrow, ahi wanton and the “when pigs fly”. Food was cooked perfectly, bar tender was very nice (Jade). They made great drinks and provided great service. Will def go again and hope they stay open. The area needs a place like this.

I was in town from New Jersey and stopped in for lunch after passing by the building and seeing how nice the outside looked ..
Inside was very nice .. one of the nicest bars I’ve seen ..
the service was extremely friendly .
First time I ever had a bartender introduce himself , ask my name . And actually remembered it the whole time ..
it made for a personable and inviting feel which was nice ..
before 4 is a limited menu which is great in my opinion . Hand held foods , salads and appetizers .
For appetizer we got the smoked wings with some Korean chili sauce ..
they were good .
I personally prefer my wings fried but these were cooked good and had plenty of flavor ..
I ordered the pulled pork and fries ..
the pulled pork was good . I like that it wasn’t smothered in sauce . The slaw on top added a nice crisp ..
I really liked the fries ..
crispy . Fresh . Different look . Cut fresh ..
I had a Malbec wine which was refreshing .. good taste ..

I will definitely stop back in when I’m in town again ..
I highly recommend this place ..

DELICIOUS food! I would vote this the best of the Valley. Definitely better than anything I have had recently in Harrisonburg. The pork shanks were amazing and the bison was cooked to perfection. We had great service throughout our meal. I can't wait to make the trip back to Luray just for another meal here!

The food was amazing, the chefJason did a terrific job and the staff were very nice. The decoration and atmosphere was perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

The best part of our night was our waiter Bailey.
She was very attentive and human. She was professional and kind, and she made us feel welcome and comfortable. She was observant and helpful, and she anticipated what we wanted or needed. She made our dining experience enjoyable. Bailey is a wonderful waiter, and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. Thank you Bailey for being so awesome! You were great! 😊

This restaurant is Top Notch! I came here with my friends and we had a lot of fun. The staff was polite, and they served us without any delay. The food was tasty. We tried different dishes and enjoyed them all. Everything was well-prepared and flavorful.

This place is wonderful. The staff makes you feel right at home. The chef exceeds your expectations and the food is delicious! It has amazing details in the decor that transforms your experience.

Loved the food! Had the prime rib dinner and shared my partners mushroom pasta! Our server Gabby was phenomenal and our drinks were on point from the bartender, Benjamin! Can’t wait to visit this area again and stop in!

AMAZING! From the moment my husband and I walked in to the moment we walked out everything was outstanding! Sarah was phenomenal, she was so pleasant and helpful! She held great bar conversation while also attending to all her work duties. Jason the cook- check on us to see how our food was, which was delicious!! My husband and I got burgers and i didn’t even get the chance to snap a pic because it looked so good I just wanted to try it instead of photographing it. Everything from the atmosphere, drinks, burger/fries (which were so crunchy and golden!) , & dessert was great!! First time visiting Luray and I can say we will definitely be back to this gem!

The interior of this space is gorgeous. We did not need a reservation, and on Valentines weekend to boot. We were placed upstairs. This space is LGBTQ friendly, to note.
The restrooms or placed at the top of both landings on the stairs, and it decorated in a very lux, mod style.
The tables are HAND MADE by one of the owners, in a gorgeous black and gold. The service was absolutely excellent, she was incredibly friendly.
Only a couple of cons: each table had little tap lights, but ours died halfway through, but we were given replacements. The nachos were excellent, but probably meant for three to four people because we were mostly full when our food arrived. The burger was very good as was the woodsman pasta, though the pasta needed salt.
To note: one of the owners is a Stephen King fan. The logo and restarant name will bring the story to mind.
After all, there may be more worlds than this, but only this one has The Watch and Warrant!

Excellent Food and Service!!!!! You have to eat here if you are visiting Luray or a local who hasn’t yet been!!!

This place is just the coolest. The food, the service, and the aesthetic was absolutely amazing. I'd love to come back. Delicious and trendy.
