Higher Taste ATL Vegan Cafe

A spiritual enlightenment through food. I walk by this place pretty often, but never felt compelled to walk in. Last night I had a strange dream and woke up in the middle of the night around 3 am. Almost 12 hours later I found myself inside this place having lentil soup and cauliflower wings while reading this book As It Is by Bhagavad. Whether it's for food or spiritual reasons, you should try this place at least once. It's not fancy or over priced by any means, but it is magical in its gifts of enlightenment and nourishment to the body.

You will enjoy the vegan food. Unfortunately Atlanta doesn't have a ton of vegan restaurants.
I'm thankful to have them in the neighborhood.

I had a wonderful takeout experience at higher taste. I ordered the shrimp fried rice...it had a nice Indian twist. I believe the rice was basmati and contained flavor notes of curry. The food was flavorful and filling and the service was top tier. I had a great conversation with the man ringing up my order..I wish I could remember his name and he made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. I would definitely eat here again.

This is my new favorite spot!!!
The atmosphere, the healthy foods made with intention and love, the service, the conversation. When I was sick, they nourished me back to well being.
If you are in a rush, do not eat here. Call in an order for pick-up. If you can slow down and enjoy nourishment the way it is intended, you will enjoy! Slow food is the best food.❤

Amazing fresh and healthy feel good food, and the workers were extremely nice and helpful, even going out of their way to do us a favor! really recommend the spicy wrap and the fried cauliflower and the lentil soup! thank you again so much!

The food was unlike anything I’ve had before, unique, so DELICIOUS, and filling! I ordered the chicken wings and fries (best fries I’ve ever had) Enrique was an amazing server and so helpful! I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes good food!!

Absolutely impeccable customer service. The owner is one the nicest people I have ever met. The food was amazing and was even better with it being Karma free. The wraps and fries are especially amazing. If you are ever in the area, I cannot recommend more to have a meal here!

Me and my girlfriend went here. I’ve been seeing it these past few times I’ve come to Little Five Points. I got the Aum Burger and my girlfriend got the Paneer Curry. We were talking about how good it was the entire time. Very kind and inviting staff. Incredible food

I had the potato curry and it was absolutely delicious and flavorful, with a great kick! Ife, who works at the front, is incredibly friendly and sweet too. I'll definitely be returning in the future!

So Amazing … I Work A Few Doors Down && I Love The Food … The Samosas Were Amazing && The Plate I Just Had Was Full Of Flavor … Honestly You Dont Even Have To Be A Vegan To Genuinely Enjoy Their Food !!

Delicious homemade food and an incredibly welcoming owner and staff. Everything is made in house and prepared fresh. If you are tired of small businesses that mimic sterile corporate models then this place will be a giant breath of fresh air for you.

Great fresh flavors. Everything is made from scratch and that’s just not what you see in restaurants anymore. Wonderful vegan options. As a meat eater this is some of the best food I’ve had in a very long time. Paneer is to die for and I couldn’t have asked for a better samosa. 10/10.

Very nice vibes, I had the paneer wrap and it blew my mind. Fresh veggies, home made sauces, all vegan? I brought my non veggie friends and they loved it to. It’s different than other vegan places though you can see the Ayurvedic/Indian influence. Nice to see new vegan options on the east side.

Excellent food and service. All of the food is incredibly fresh and delicious. Don’t miss the 9.99 special where you can get truly amazing chickpea Tiki Marsala!! It is rare to find such a family based restaurant experience in the middle of ATL.

I absolutely loved this place. Their food and atmosphere are very authentic, and there’s so many options for food. I usually don’t enjoy vegan / vegetarian food, but was very pleased with how much I enjoyed all of it. Friendly staff & very kind.

We loved our experience here! They have a wonderful, thoughtful vegetarian menu that leaves you satisfied, and the service was amazing. I recommend the mango lassi, the 9.99 special with chickpea masala, and the sweet balls for dessert!!
