Tramonto Bistro Malibu

A lovely experience throughout.

We came here to celebrate a special occasion while visiting Malibu. Everything met and/or exceeded our expectations. The food is great, the service is very friendly and the staff is very accommodating.

We ordered different dishes on the menu AND off the menu and they happily obliged. We got a panino, a chicken Marsala dish, lasagna, calamari, and cacio e Pepe. Everything was amazing. For me the highlight of the meal was the fresh complimentary ciabatta bread that comes with a lovely olive tapenade. I could probably just eat that and be happy.

Definitely will be back and will probably take a lot of bread home 😄

10/10 best pizza EVER, my fiancé got the gnocchi and that was also AMAZING. Will be coming back!!!! Staff was great as well!

Such a nice romantic spot for dinner. The food was absolutely excellent. I was having trouble picking something from the selection of amazing dishes they had to offer, but the waiter was super helpful with narrowing down the options with what I was in the mood for. The only problem is that I live over an hour away and I can't visit them more often.

Just by chance the family and I were looking for somewhere to have lunch along the Pacific highway. Well not know anything about this place we took a chance. I tell you we won the jackpot here as the food was amazing! We had shrimp and lobster, a margarita pizza and puree carrot soup. Food was top notch all around. We ate in the enclose patio. It wasnt busy at all. Talk about timing. It was just great experience being just a stone throw away from the Ocean. What a great lunch afternoon! Service was amazing too.

This place checked all of the boxes for our family. The food was absolutely delicious, staff was friendly, and great environment. We initially started in their outdoor eating area but it was very loud because it is right next to the road, once we transitioned inside it was better. All in all would highly recommend this place!

We visited while staying in Malibu. It was super easy to get a table on a Friday night and the food and service were fantastic. The staff were so attentive and made sure you had everything you needed. It felt like a formal dining experience but in a laid back atmosphere. The food was also incredible! I recommend the calamari and the Bianca pizza. Limited parking and small space, but nice patio seating though I imagine it gets pretty loud since the patio is right next to the road.

This is a such a gem in Malibu! We were here with a larger group and were treated with excellent service and hospitality. The food was the best Italian food we've ever had and the espresso martini ice cream was to die for. Highly recommend coming here!!

If you want authentic Italian food by the water this is the place to go! I was here back and 2018 and when I was back in California I just knew I had to pass by again. Their pasta vongole is very delicious, and you can taste how fresh the clams are. The service here was amazing, thank you to the friendly staff for creating such a beautiful experience for us!

Best restaurant in malibu! The homemade gnocchi is a must-try. So fluffy and melts in your mouth. The tableside ice cream was also amazing! So cool to watch but also tasted delicious and was some of the creamiest, most delicious ice cream i’ve ever had. The bolognese and arancini were also to die for, along with the chopped salad and the eggplant appetizer. On top of the food, the service was absolutely incredible and everybody working there is extremely kind and friendly. They have the most amazing staff and owner. Will definitely be coming to eat here again!❤❤

100% delicious! On the coast of Malibu, this is such a cute restaurant. Being from NY you have high expectations for Italian food. The homemade olive oil dip was off the charts! We had the penne pasta, margehrita pizza, chicken parmigiana & the pesto gnocchi which were beyond amazing! The desert from the chocolate mousse cake, tiramisu, and affogato were on point. The top item for me was the gnocchi. They also had a plant based spaghetti on the menu which I thought was very nice! The bathroom was very clean as well. 10/10 would def a recommend a visit.

This restaurant is amazing. I went here for dinner with some friends last night and it couldn’t have been better. The atmosphere is very calm and nice. The staff are super friendly and the food was SOO good. The price was very affordable considering we had delicious food. It was definitely made with love, we would love to come back and 100% recommend it!!

You’ve got to love a place that is so attentive to the dine in experience of their guests! The service was incredible and the food was amazing. Main entrees run between $20-$40. I highly recommend the Gamberi Fra Diavola and the ricotta cheesecake!

I also noticed they keep the place incredibly clean and constantly cleaning high touch areas.

Parking available as well as semi enclosed outdoor seating.

I tried the Impossible Meatball pasta today. The flavor was there for sure, the noodles were perfect. However, the meatballs were soft. I wasn't expecting that, but when u mash it, and mix it. Well that made a big difference. It comes with a side of bread. Ask for a side of sauce to dip!!!

Hello I just want to share my experience in this restaurant, they had great and amazing, costumer service, great food and good family atmosphere. I really recommend this restaurant for any special event, date, birthday or especial occasion. My kids really enjoyed the food, if my kids are happy I'm happy too...

I’m visiting from out of town and decided I wanted some Italian food for dinner. The place is really nice and the service was quick. Food tasted good as well.

We had a such a wonderful time last night, celebrating a birthday at Tramonto Bistro last night! The star of my evening was the homemade orecchiette tossed with a light truffle cream sauce in a giant cheese wheel and topped with bountiful black truffles. It was absolutely heavenly!! An ooey gooey delight 💖 The service was impeccable and the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. The tableside ice cream was a table favorite as well!

Exceptional food with even better service. My friends and I came to Tramanto Bistro late on a Monday night on a whim ravenously hungry after searching for places to eat on Google, and came away thoroughly impressed. I had an absolutely scrumptious spinach ravioli, with fantastic arancini as an appetizer. The food immaculately cooked, prepared, and seasoned - with fresh ingredients and fair prices. The service staff was highly attentive and took care of our every need, including giving my party a free chocolate cake. I'm from out of town but will definitely return to Tramanto Bistro anytime I'm in Malibu! 5 stars well earned.
