Malibu Pier

It's a wonderful place. Short sweet walk out to the end of the pier that has a good brunch restaurant. I didn't take a pic of food. But husband had the steak sandwhich & I had the breakfast burrito. Both delicious. They also have a close restaurant option if can't walk all the way to end of pier that is the same menu. I would definitely recommend & go again. Was fun to watch the surfers, birds, seals & dolfins.

Beautiful pier with a nice view. It is pretty small, but offers a great view on the valley and surfers in the distance. Didn’t check any of the shops on the pier, but seemed decent

The Malibu Pier offers a good perspective of the Malibu Coast, Malibu Lagoon Beach up to Malibu Point, including a nice perspective on the surfing of Surfrider Beach
There’s a public restroom near the end and possibly more located within the businesses.
Apart from sightseeing, my experience with the restaurants is limited. As a guide, I’ve had tour passengers go to the three different establishments on the pier with positive feedback. There’s boat charter service available, tho am unable to provide the details regarding the operations, as of yet.
A bait shop is near the end and fishing rod holders are fastened along the top rails. I haven’t noticed many anglers here, tho perhaps my timing hasn’t been right to see the activity.
Albeit all these extras which must be good, I’m all about the scenery!

Malibu Pier is an absolute gem! The stunning ocean views coupled with excellent dining options make it a must-visit destination. Fun place to stop on PCH and see the waves. Maybe have a cup of coffee or a bite to eat. The park lot is $10 and there is beach access. All and all it’s a nice place to spend some time in Malibu.

Nice spot to go for a walk to the end of the pier. Plenty of fishing off the pier (not sure what the catches are like) and plenty of sea birds to watch if that’s your thing. Saw some spectacular cormorant (I think that’s what they were!) diving.

BEST BEACH TO GO TO!

(Carbon Beach aka Billionaires Beach)

Absolutely the best Beach to go to and spend the day at! It is soooo clean compared to any other beach in the area! It's warm, and sunny and the homes on the shoreline are nice to check out. This beach is NOT overly crowded like the rest in the area. It's not as easily accessible, there's a bit of a walk to get there but I'm telling you it's more than worth it! You don't have crowds of people right by you while you're trying to relax. The sand was very soft and warm, you were able to walk barefoot without stepping on something sharp.

No public restrooms or wash-off spots. There are a few public access options. You will have to park a little ways away at a parking garage. There's some street parking available but usually all taken. All and all such a beautiful beach ⛱ If you don't mind walking a little bit for some privacy and relaxation time this is the spot for you!

A nice stop off the busy PCH to grab a bite. The ambience and presentation of the food is fantastic for locals and tourists alike. I’d come back again for sure.

Perfect location on Malibu Beach to take all ages. Variety of activities on the pier and within the business's.

A few nice dining areas that provide the perfect atmosphere for everyone. Wait staff are courteous and attentive which adds to your dining experience.

This is a "must visit" location if you're in the Los Angeles area.

One of the best beach site tourist attractions in Malibu is Los Angeles. They are beautiful on all sides, if you look at the hillside, I love the big house on the top of the hill, and they have a restaurant and cafe, too. You can buy coffee and chill on the jetty.
For parking, if you are lucky you will get free street parking if not there are two car parking on each side of the place, one side $15 and another side $6 whole days on the left side of the place

Nice experience! Flew my drone and enjoyed the day! Make sure you get gas and snack before you come, things are stupid high around these parts!!

Love the Malibu Farm Restaurant and the Cafe! So awesome that fishing off of the pier is allowed!

If you are looking for a more laid back pier experience, Malibu Pier is the place. Granted, I visited in January- but this was way more chill than the Santa Monica Pier. Perfect place to watch the sunset

Sweet little pier, boosted midday was nice and quiet.
The nearby beach is amazing.
Recommended to park in the street, don't pay 15$ in the parking lot!

It was a great experience driving all the way from Long Beach .This is the first time we went to Malibu and it was great clean way better than LA. as you enter the Malibu pier, they have some cute little restaurants which look really great from outside and the restroom there was spot clean we really liked. we will only come to Malibu next time and spend our entire days there. but pricey but worth the price.

So beautiful! My first time in Cali was so amazing, I loved it and enjoyed it, and the Malibu pier so beautiful. I came during the sunset and it was such a great experience, can’t wait to go back!

I come here a lot specially in year 2019 but it stopped due to the pandemic. This spot is a good place to chill and do fishing. It's 40 minutes away from where I live.

Park the car in front cost you 15$!
If you are lucky you can find a spot on the road!
In the beach right in front you can see a lot of surfers and enjoy the sun!
The pier has restaurant and some shop!
Just stop here and take a 360degrees views

Great place to have fun, see the ocean and get some amazing organic food.

Get there early for better parking spots that are free. Paid parking also fills up quick and is $15 for they day!
