Been coming to this neurologist for a year now. Today was a good day. They were running on time, and the waiting room was empty. Dr. Brandy Centers is always great- we chat like girlfriends makes the visit much more enjoyable. Always very clean offices and well organized. The doctors are always so knowledgeable, and have bedside manners. Highly recommend Dr. Brandy Centers to anyone who is looking for a neurologist.

In 2019, Dr. G diagnosed me with peripheral motor and sensory neuropathy’s. Didn’t know about this diagnosis until after appt. Told me I have R carpal tunnel syndrome and sent me home with wrist brace. If only I would have known, that I actually have CMT, diagnosed recently. I could have started PT, biannual eye appointments and referral to the correct physicians, capable and willing to provide the proper treatment. He could have spared me from multiple injuries incurred from tripping, not sensing hot objects and vision loss.

I'm so disappointed by the lack of follow-thru with this office. I had a few issues here the last two years my husband has been a patient after his stroke. I expressed my displeasure to them then and they conceded. This week though is unexcusable. I called on 5/16 at 8:30am telling them that my husband had a seizure (stroke related) and the hospital doctors said he wasn't on near enough anti-seizure medication. This was managed by this neuro practice. I needed an appointment asap for my husband and the neuro office offered one in late July. He needed help now. A simple prescription to double the strength is what we needed. I then asked if they could get a message to the doctor to look at his records and they said yes and to expect a call back. I waited until late afternoon the next day to call back when I had no response. They called the nurse and she said she was going to have the doctor look at the records as soon as he was done with his patients and to expect a call. Never got one. Called the next day....same problem. Well guess what? My husband is now back in the hospital with seizure issues. I'm being told he just needed more meds. This simply could've been addressed by the office by calling in a higher dosage. Three doctors have told me they are shocked that he was on such a low anti-seizure dosage especially having had a stroke. The poor communication and follow-thru of this office staff just is appalling. I don't even know if the doctor ever got the message that we needed help STAT! We like Dr. Gonzalez but need a practice that we can count on. I will be filing a complaint.

Husband had appt today at 9am with Angel R Gonzalez. He finally left at 10:20 and at that point was not seen by dr. They open at 9 and still have not seen a 9 am patient at 10:20? Excuse given was we only have 3 providers. So drs are busy but THEIR OFFICE schedules the appts. He didn't even get into a room until 10. First appt of morning and not even in exam room till 10? Then when he left nurse came after him saying dr is ready to see you. He could see into an office where many staff and a dr were sitting, laughing and eating McDonalds! Do NOT go to this office unless you have all day to sit and wait. We use many Florida Medical Clinic doctors and this is our first bad experience. Will look elsewhere for Neurologist.

Both receptionist I encountered in this building were completely rude and unprofessional. One wasn’t accepting new patients and that’s fine but there’s a way to say it and the next office I called the girl was so unbelievably rude when I asked if they were accepting patients she said “yea” I said ok can I make an appointment she said “yea”….ok can you help with that..good lord hire better people.
