China Buffet

I usually don’t go through the trouble of making a review but I was more than pleased with the experience.

Came a few weeks ago for my moms birthday. Waitress with long hair was very polite and friendly, cracked jokes and made us feel at home. Felt very welcomed unlike my other experiences with other restaurants in the area. Food was delicious, donuts were hard but they were more than happy to make fresh ones. Not once did they make us feel like a burden. Kept our drinks full the entire time. My niece is 2 years old and was very fond of the waitress.

We will definitely come back again, definitely our new favorite place to go out to eat as a family.

UPDATE!
We went to China Buffet at 4411 Aidan Ln, North Port and we were once gain delighted that we did. The whole place looks as if it is updated on the inside. They got rid of all the carpeting ann now it is a much cleaner and brighter buffet! The food as always, is excellent and the staff are so very friendly and helpful. We are going to go here more often because we enjoy it so much! If you have not gone there or have gone in the past, you should check out their new digs. I am certain you will be as happy as we are to see their changes for the best!

Thursday for lunch my Son and Daughter-in-law and my wife and I went to China Buffet at 4411 Aidan Ln, North Port. It is one of my favorites in the area. It is easy to get to and the place is always kept clean and fresh. And I noticed that the inside has all been re-done and looks totally different than it did a few years ago in an older picture I had. The food is excellent and it is a good value when eating out. I spent less for our party of four than my wife and I alone paid at another venue. The staff is always friendly and they promptly take away your used dishes when you are finished. The parking is plentiful and it is easy to get to.

This place was awesome! I thought it was pretty clean front to back. The restrooms were very clean, buffet was clean, dining room was clean. The floor near the buffet had water on it on few trips up but staff quickly put signs down to warn folks. The selection of this place is very robust.only 1-2 of the traditional American meals such as fries or wings the rest is all out Chinese food and everything you can imagine. They had 15 types of desserts, 8 or more types of ice cream, they served slice roast beef, 30+ types of chicken, multiple soups, crab legs, shrimp, ribs, duck, 12 types of sushi, and much more. They had around 100-130 choices for food. I had a real smorgasbord board and dig into many items and everything I had (except the fried zucchini) was top notch! I would highly recommend this place and I will be going back for sure.

Just came here for the first time on a Wednesday night. What a great place! The staff was wonderful and all wore masks. It was very clean the bar was constantly wiped down, hand sanitizer was provided and plastic gloves. The selection was unbelievable, Im a avid chef and nothing there disappointed. Four big double sided bars they always kept fully stocked, nothing went cold even a unpopular item I saw them replace even when mostly full.
I can't wait to go back I was even thoroughly shocked at the sushi selection, for a buffet they had 12 different rolls and nori.
At about 13$ a person I don't see how that's "overpriced" like reviewers said. I worry a lot of the bad reviews are fake internet trolls hating on buffet style dining during covid19. Every other buffet I know of has closed permanently, don't let this one go too. Give it a try and decide for yourself.

Affordable place to eat.
First time visiting the restaurant, I enjoyed their food a lot.
Their selection is fair, and everything looked freshly cooked.
Great flavor on everything I got.
The best part was that the staff was very friendly and polite, I did not feel rushed to eat fast and leave.
I don't live in the area but if I visit again I will go back. 🤤

We are here for Valentines Day and the food is fresh, hot and yummy. Our server is helpful but not too clingy. The crab leg special is great and we even had coupon. They have nice array of seafood, veggie dishes and sushi. We always leave full and happy and didnt break the bank.

Good buffet,lowest price in Sarasota county,fresh food always especially at 11am to 12 noon

Good food, fair price. But, as the hand written sign in the window says, "We are close on every Tuesday (No Exceptions)" So, make sure you plan accordingly! Hahahaha

Myself and two nephews went, it was very good time to go. Buffett was well stocked. We got right in no wait. Everything tasted very good. She took care of our needs with drinks and cleaned up used plates

Amazing variety. Even sushi on the buffet. Soothing music , great service and delicious.

Food and service was great. I will be coming back here again and again, you really get your monies worth. If you go away still hungry then you went to the wrong place. Love it.

Fantastic place!
Cheap kids menu, good cooking. Food actually tastes good, which is not common for that kind of places.
Friendly smiling personnel and jasmine tea make you want to come back again.
Only wish they had more fish in their sushi rolls. Little salmon or shrimp

China Buffet was a treat from my daughter's for my birthday. It was packed, but we were seated almost immediately. What can you say? It was clean; staff was kind and attentive; food was excellent with hundreds of choices; and we had NO concerns. Don't know if they connected to the China Buffet in Ft. Myers, but they certainly look and perform as efficiently! Thank you for our time together; your service; and, the promise if mire pleasing meals to come.

Just picked up Take out. Very impressed with the service and how clean the restaurant is kept. The food was ready and waiting for me and the portions are very large. The young man that assisted me was extremely polite and helped me with the door. I would highly recommend this restaurant.😃
